Not gonna lie, I was a little frustrated at you giggling while Shaoji is out here opening up about his disappointment regarding the way that story leaks can impact peoples' experience of the game, and even create bickering online due to misinterpretations because the leaks are selective or drip feed information rather than show the story the way they want to do as creators.
Like yes haha funny memes or what the fuck ever, but these people are real human beings who are clearly passionate about what they're doing so it comes off as disrespectful especially when his heart rate is spiking the way it is, he sounded genuinely sad when describing what happened (if you're unaware, the entire Penacony arc's script leaked around September 2023, including details about character stories that have yet to be released). It seems uncharacteristic because you normally seem to get invested in the story.
He did even directly answer the question: "The more attractive the content is, the more attention it receives". What more can he answer than that? The specifics of how the leakers obtained the information? Obviously he won't reveal that directly, if he even knows to begin with. I actually enjoyed getting to hear their perspective on it. It must have been tough on them at the time. Sure he gave politician answers to some other questions but nothing of what he said seemed insincere.
But I'm just venting into the void I suppose. So many people only seem to be interested in the anniversary rewards and just consider insights into the creative process as "yapping". And it seems like half of _those_ only care so they can use it as ammunition in some puerile pissing contest with Genshin players instead of enjoying the game for what it is. The official stream chat was the worst.

Just wanted to explain that during this moment of the livestream, I thought the remainder of this was meant to be dodgey and silly so I got to the point where I was laughing about how the response was given about Tingyun and assumed we would not be getting a full explanation about leaks so I did stop reading the subtitles for a few. Later in the video, it was clarified to me that I missed Shaoji was being serious and I did have a discussion about my stance on leaks and how I felt.
This was unfortunately a mistake on my part for assuming the remainder of this segment was going to be lighthearted and funny and I didn’t see the context until after otherwise I would not have been laughing. I’ve always been honest about my stance on leaks and how devastating they are for developers. These stories are so important to me and I’d never laugh about that.
This was also one of my first streams back after having been in the hospital so I was very tired and still recovering so my general awareness was not all there. Hope all this makes sense.
@@LorieMegistusYeah, I did wonder. I apologise for getting a bit heated as well, it was just my initial reaction and I suppose I was generally annoyed because of all the other comments I was seeing on other stream chats, when I was surprised they chose to open up to the extent they did.
I actually sought you out actively after watching the official livestream because I know how genuine you usually tend to be when it comes to experiencing stories and so on. So even if it might not seem like it, you can view that as a compliment in a way, since I'm normally just lurking but I have enjoyed watching you getting to experience the game.
Regardless, I'm sorry to have put you in the position of replying to me like that. I may not know all the details of what's been happening recently, but if you were in the hospital I imagine it must be quite serious. I hope you're doing well, I genuinely mean that. Take care of yourself and don't let some nobody on the internet get you down :)

My stance on leaks is that im only ok with content that is revealed in special Programs. Stuff like characters, events, non weekly bosses, etc. The reason being that we are shown this content before the update anyway, the only difference is when.
I wonder if one of the presenters was a suspected leaker and the heartrate monitors were a ruse so they could see if anyones heartrate went up when they started talking about leaks (probably reading too far into it)

Acheron, and Aventurine are both exceptional new characters while Loucha and Jingliu are two of the best units in the game and two core members of my team

She’s a good unit, a very interesting character, has awesome attack animations and effects, is this universe’s version of my favorite HI3rd character Mei, she’s no doubt one of the most attractive characters in the game, and she’s voiced by the legendary Allegra Clark.
She really fills the Beidou shaped hole in the HSR roster (my favorite Genshin Character)

Edit: Just FYI, when they reveal a boss and the mechanics behind them, it's because they will be a boss we fight on a regular basis, like in SU or MOC. This is to prepare people for strategies on forming teams for them to fight regularly.

Even in filler patch. HSR gives like 80-90 pulls while genshin just 55?
@@Luci3364 though the hsr devs ARE more generous, there's a reason for it. the fact that the open world in hsr is much smaller, has less puzzles, less world quests - you get the deal. there are more factors if you'd like me to go over them.
@@Luci3364 usually true but as for anni rewards alone, it's not even better than genshin... also HSR has double the amount of characters, so logically speaking they should be giving double the amount of rolls
@@ToborbleA disconcerting number of them, yes. But this should be obvious given the average Hoyoverse fan's apparent mental age. It's all over YT comments and especially do yourself a favour and stay away from HoYoLAB. Reminds me of the Undertale fandom in some ways.
