shoot forgot to talk about constellations. In this case, weapon is way better for nilou than any cons. Not a character that cares too much about her cons. weapon and nahida C2 first. for navia, if you have battle pass then focus on furina and maybe chiori c1 tbh, if not get her weapon.
I have Navia and her Weapon, I already have furina and Chiori, trying to get her weapon but I'll get Chiori's C1 at this point
I swore nilou c2 had a similar (if not bigger) improvement to her bloom teams compared to nahida’s c2, but because of how universal nahida c2 is, nahida’s c2 is generally picked. So it isn’t like her cons are meaningless (as c2 is a pretty big increase), but she definitely doesn’t rely on any cons.
Nilou’s c2 is her only great con for bloom damage… her other cons seem to be for vape Nilou

Right? Navia and Nilou are a easy skip in my eyes, but my boy Kaveh finally came back after a thousand years of imprisonment. I'm pulling for him.
I cant believe Im so excited to pull for a mid character. Tbf he might be 4/10 gameplay, but he is 10/10 personality. 100% gonna be in my exploration team so he can keep yapping.

Featuring Ningguang in the upcoming banner does make sense. She can easily generate the crystalize shards for Navia.
Also the screen geo dmg bonus is easy to fit into a rotation
Ningguang also provides buff with her screen, and if you love Navia and farmed her artifact set - it is also best set for Ningguang too, she's one of the great OG characters, super fun to play and beautiful design, and she's still amazing to this day

Cyro shield is where Kaveh comes in his claymore can break it.
Dendro breaks electro hydro
Hydro breaks pyro dendro
Claymore breaks cryo geo
You actually have all elemental shield covered in a Nilou team except for some niche ones (like some shields from Fatui that can only be effectively broken by pyro or cryo)
there are almost no geo shields. geo breaks all shields except for geo shields. the rarest type. this is why you want some solid off field dps for navia. navia and furina and xianyun make a great team core, as does navia and bennett plus xiangling

Navia is borderline meta because she has been able to brute force every single abyss since her release, with f2p builds. She can make someone struggling in abyss suddenly wipe and 36 star it quite easily.

Not so sure about that, she has those big nuke shots on her skill but her damage per rotation isn’t any different from any meta team and is usually lower for most people

Finally I get to have kaveh
I pulled Nilou on hef first banner, and got Key on her first rerun, dont let people lie to you, she feel exactly the same, the Key dont fix anything on her or her teams, you just see bigger green numbers. She feel the same, numbers bigger very straightforward.

@@johanliebert3609 correct. the key is what's needed to get her max buffs on her special bloom cores. if all you're using nilou for is for a hyperbloom hydro unit, then you're using her wrong. and nilou's constellations are only for her most confused playstyle. hypercarry dps nilou. if you get her to c6, she becomes a hypercarry, and not a great one. otherwise you can skip her constellations completely.

I've been waiting for Nilou to come back for so long. The last time she was featured I tried to get both her and Nahida on the same banner but I wasn't able to get her after using most of my pulls on Nahida. I also skipped Chlorande to make sure I had enough for Nilou, I'm so excited to finally get her.

I'll never forget that the last time Xiphos was on banner I gave it 1 ten pull full of hopes and dreams and actually got it. I was so shook that it manifested before me, my Kazuha has been eternally grateful ever since.
btw if some of you guys are wondering if you should pull for kaveh i say yes do it. if you're not end game player and you simply like characters for domains and exploring, he's your goat. actually, now with the theatre the more characters you have the better so PULL FOR OUR KING (totally not based)

Vape Nilou is actually very underrated, I feel like it's the main reason they gave her an alternate skill attack. It's actually pretty decent, and it surprised me the first time I tried it out.

Has been so long since Xiphos rerun that I've honestly thought it was a event weapon from 1.something lol
*Soluna* did a video on *"DPS" Kaveh* some time ago, _but_ the comp was pretty much a meme (as it _needed_ *Xianyun* + *Furina* to do any damage and even *Nahida* to serve as a Battery)... funnily enough, *Kirara* fixes the main problems on that comp - namely, she shields the damage that could go to other characters while you swap, and replaces Nahida quite well. BUT IT WAS A MEME BUILD. XD

Xiphos correction: it provides teams an energy recharge% buff.
It does not generate energy particles like favonius sword nor provide flat energy. That's why you usually need at least R2-R3 for it to actually be better than fav.
what if navia was dendro and instead of collecting crystallize shards, she collected bloom cores and added the damage of the bloom cored to her skill. that would make her work very well with nilou cuz then she could suck up all the bountiful cores and blast them all out at once lol

Already have Nilou and Yelan. I'm going for Navia with my guarantee. I need a good Geo dps character. Noelle has too many energy issues, and Ningguang's damage kind of falls off in certain situations.
Also need to expand the geo roster for imaginarium theater.
My biggest flex is that Keveh kept popping on my Standard banner that I eventually got his c6 in the first 3 months

as a f2p navia-furina main im literally vibrating in my chair rn, hoping the "furina sometimes having key is best inslot" is best in slot with furina

Those 4 star weapons other than xiphos are absolutely disgusting. Hoyo know what they are doing and it is pretty scummy.

Kaveh exists as canon fodder for Imaginarium Theater, because let's be honest, you won't have enough Dendro Characters to play Hard Mode whenever Dendro is one of the Featured Elements.

One Kaveh team that might work is Xianyun, Nahida, Furina. Yeah, it takes up 3 amazing supports, but it just might work. Furina and Xianyun buff Kaveh's personal damage, with the blooms being supplemental damage rather than the core of your damage. Nahida is there to provide more blooms and and EM buff. With C6, Kaveh will be blowing up every bloom 3 seconds and it works with plunge attacks.
Even though Key is really nice for Nilou my priority is getting Emilie and her signature weapon
Hoyo really loves to cook up weapon banners where 1 weapon has general use while the other is the most niche signature imaginable.
My Furina will also have to go without key for another patch cycle.
I remember on the first xiphos banner, i really want it. And put 150 pull without pulling any xiphos. Instead i got THREE KEY. And then i continue all of my primos for another 70-80 pulls and finish with R4 Xiphos AND R4 Key. I got the R5 xiphos on its the next banner (and also the R5 Key just to finish it up😅)
To say the least, my Nilou now is cracked 😂
Yeah the Key is an amazing weapon.
If Chronicled runs at least 2x a year, then eventually the Key will end up there, and when it does im going to try and refine it.
Unlike so many 5 stars, it really gets significantly stronger.

This may just be what I notice, but it might not be true, but I wonder if they might've improved his gameplay at all. I liked his gameplay when doing those story quests hangout event.
Hoyo doing everything in their power to not give us a proper weapon banner.
Think about it, 4* not having a rerun for over a year, same with 5*. Yeah, sure, nobody cares about Eula or Kaveh, but still, they're clear evidence that Hoyo should made a third banner. Chronical Wish was ONLY so they wouldn't have to rerun Albedo or Eula, and it's so conditional that it was designed to flop. What would be a good solution? Of course, adding third banner, but that would mean separate weapon banners (like in HSR) and Genshin players CAN'T and WON'T be treated like people. Three cycles per patch isn't a solution, because that would require: A) longer patches, which would completely ruin whole schedule, or B) a banner would have a shorter span, and it also wouldn't work, since primo economy works around current banner duration. Three separate banners per cycle with separate weapon banners and 4* selection (or perhaps as a reward from events, which happens way more often in HSR) are obvious solutions, but you're treated like trash (and you all are absolutely loving it), so of course this will never happen.
4:37 alhaitham baizhu furina makes for a better team. And it's servicable
But its not the conventional nilou tean where you see bloom cores nuke all the enemies while you casually dance in the abyss

For kaveh I think he’s highly underrated. And he tends to out pace my alhaitham teams, and I’ve used kaveh to get more consistent clears in the past as well. I use him for hyperbloom and he’s really powerful and comfy. I use an em crit build with furina, nahida, and either kuki or raiden. Now that I hv c1 furina he’ll be even stronger.

Got Navia after 82 pulls as a f2p, already lost to Verdict in December, threw 7 pulls on weapon for Xyphos as it was all i got left : got it on last pull, bzst way to build pity on weapon banner !
I think they're going to make Kaveh a dedicated Nilou banner 4 star, like how Gorou is with Itto. They both have kits centred around bloom, so it makes sense, and I feel like they were specifically waiting for Nilou's banner to rerun him for this reason.
Last time a pulled on the weapon it was Navia + Reforged Mist and I've got a Jade Spear. Got burned so hard that ain't gonna pull for a weapon for some time...
Hey, you should try kaveh furina xianyun fischl, i saw this team a while ago and it kinda slaps.
Aggravate makes kaveh plunges stronger [furina applies slow enough to aways proc] and fischl doesn't hit the cores, so he can use his E passive.

I already run a Wanderer team and a Cyno team, and I've been waiting for Nilou since her last banner. As much as I want Natlan characters, I'm at least spending some primos to get Nilou first!
Keep in mind that 5.0 could change nilou's place on the meta since we're getting another hydro and dendro characters, also whatever natlan's new mechanic is could be useful in nilou teams like pneuma or ousia
9:50 Kaveh's best team should be EM Furina + Nahida + xianyun + him on Maréchaussée (he could hold it even without furina) his C6 would help greatly this playstyle. Also with nilou his survivability is amazing especially coupled with Furina he always come to proc Furina's A1

I've been waiting to pull Navia! Skipped her initially because I wanted to see how she performs in terms of damage. Regretted it immediately as I realized how fun her playstyle is. So I'm glad she's finally back! Tbh, this is the biggest reason for me to pull on characters these days anyway: As long as the performance is decent, I'm all for fun new playstyles!!

I’ll have to see how my final Furina pulls go (for her cons)…..but I’ve decided to **FINALLY** cave and get Nilou and Yelen.
Next weeks are gonna be a battle of seeing how many primos I can earn vs how much I’ll need to spend (to make up the difference) to get them 😓. At least, as I’m earlier on in the game, I still have plenty of exploration, World Quests, etc, to do that can earn me Primos. It’ll just be a matter of how much irl free time I’ll have to commit to the game to earn said Primos…..sigh….
My Nilou team is Nilou, Furina, Nahida, and Kaveh. Kaveh boosting bloom dmg and heals off of it which will proc Furina’s burst skill. More enemies = more heal and dmg and over heal will heal the whole team. It’s a fun viable team.
I run my Navia with an R5 lithic blade with Qiqi for heals and att reduction, Ganyu/Xingqiu for element application, and Zhongli for shield and resist shred. The lithic blade on this team gives her 33 att% and 21 crit rate and I dont have any real complaints with this team whatsoever. Plus the lithic blade colors fit her decently enough
