Jean C6 allows you to become immune to damage when paired with Beidou and XQ bursts. Is that good? No. Is it funny? Absolutely.

Idk, doesn't it recalibrate the percentage from the new damage value?
For example, you're receiving 100 damage
Beidou lessens it by 20% (I don't remember how much), then Xq by 20% of the 80 damage after Beidou, and Jean by 35% (again, I don't remember the exact percentages for XQ and Beidou) of the damage after 2 reductions

14:15 A bit more details about Diluc's C2, if you have a shield and you get hit, even though the shield doesn't break it will still activate his C2. And apparently there's a funny interaction with yuegui and Diluc C2, where if yuegui targets Diluc for the heals, this will activate Diluc's C2.

I think you should activate standard banner constellations now that they are reasonably obtainable to most people with low spending
they need to add them to the store as well, we still only have the 1.0 four stars
As someone with a C0 Qiqi in 3,5 years of playing, it's too variable which constellations most people have 😅 there are a lot of people who don't have Keqing and mine is C4
Nah treat yourself and unlock the cons. Then you can give better advice on which character cons synergize best with teams.
I feel like we already have creators in the space that showcase high constellation characters. Especially as someone who has only played for a year I want to see what a base character offers.
I think up to C1-C2 is reasonable.
I love jean's gameplay so her c1 allowing me to yeet enemies more efficiently is an absolute win.

her current healer is yaoyao though more options are being built for IT
jean definitely has less energy issues at C0, a bigger immediate teamwide heal and is pretty, while sayu is currently C3, has a larger healing area and bigger active chara heals
if it wasn't for me hearing about sayu's healing radius recently, the choice of 5* would be jean, dehya or tighnari, though potential mauvika capabilities are making it hard to choose ahhh 😭😭

Recently came back to the game, pulled on Mualani and lost 50-50 early to Keqing, which I didn't have so I gracefully accepted the result!
With this, my free 5-star choice got easier since only Jean was left to get and finally got her!

Mona also provides something other than combat, which is high mobility for exploration. Might be beneficial for new joiners

For the best aggravate dps it honestly doesn't matter that much when Fischl does half of the damage anyways, she is that good. Glad you mentioned Lisa btw, people don't realise how significant her def shred is.
yeah, the def shred is actually great. i think only lisa and c2 raiden have that shred mechanic and we need more like that.
@@momohirai6604 There are few more characters that have Defense shred, but they all have it locked behind constellations.
Each year you should activate 1 constellation for each of the standard 5* units. That way you can test out how each feel for players who select them each year

I'm building Tighnari right now. Looking forward to how he plays with Candace, Fischl, and Yaoyao as teammates. My free 5-star will have to be Keqing, though, as she's the only standard 5-star I'm missing.

I agree with Tighnari. people were don't understand just how good he is even at C0 compared to LIMITED 5* dps. I feel like people for the longest time assumed all the standard characters are bad when the only bad one is qiqi. the rest are fully capable in filling out spots in your team or being the main dps for your team.
I swear by Tighnari, he carried me through any boss chamber in the abbyss 💚I'm gonna pick Mona because I still don't have her so just for collection sake 😭 Then back to the Tighnari cons grind (C2 for now)

Maybe activating c1 on all your standard banner characters? It's still very relatable but does give you that extra boost!.
I have every character except Dehya so I'm going for her. The fact that I preferred her boss materials helps. The fact that I've used really no praxis talent books so they are just sitting there from winery exploration really helps. future standard additions are something to look forward to as well.

@@Tyler-ko8dp When I started playing Genshin, it was mainly because of Mona and I only got her and Keqing after like 2 years 🥲 So whoever you pick, definitely don't rely on the standard banner / losing 50/50, and if you just want a good Dendro DPS there's also Alhaitham that you could wish for, but there is no replacement for Mona and Keqing.

I'm going for C3 Nari. He was my second 5* and I've put so many resources into him since then. He's top 1% on Akasha (I know akasha is not the end all be all, but I think it's a good indication of investment).
Personally, I think it would be really cool if you activated standard cons, especially if you have any C6. Like do a C0-C6 comparison.

I will finally get my beloved Jean, since 1.0 when the standard banned showed Jean and Diluc, everyone wanted Diluc but I just wanted Jean. 4 years later she has managed to avoid me in every 50/50 and Standard 5*. I got C5 Keqing, C4 Diluc, C4 Qiqi, C1 Tighnari and C1 Mona but never got a Jean (also no Dehya, but she's newer so it's more logical to not have her). Thanks Hoyoverse for finally giving us the 5* selector (I know for a fact the next 50/50 I lose after chosing Jean will be another Jean, just so the game can laugh at me)

Yeah I'll be moving my Xianyun to Navia once I get Navia built, but it's been a slow process (it always is). I am finding I don't really need her on my Neuvillette team. I was so worried that one Healer wouldn't be enough since Furina is there, but Baizhu is really that good (and Furina's other skill is a good healer too). Now I just need a decent substitute, but I am in no hurry atm lol.
Not speaking about constellations, I still miss Jean and Diluc, so Jean is finally coming home too. Even though I somehow forgot during the time where I wanted to place her 🙃
I think with the new system it's fair for you to activate cons on the standard banner units. I mean, if we really want it, we'll be able to get the cons even on a f2p basis in the near future. Plus, for most players, they have a few spare cons for the standard banner characters anyway.
As a Day One player who took a break shortly before Sumeru debuted, I will be picking up the Grassy Sassy Boi as he has been AVOIDING ME FOR TWO YEARS. (Thank you hoyo)
I will be picking dehya! I think shes gorgeous, i probably wont build her but she would make a super cute profile picture being she is tan like me so ill have one character who looks like me until xilonen. I also pulled for her on release and got keqing at 53 pity.. i tried getting dehya on standard and got keqing again.. and ive lost 3 50/50’s to keqing 3 times in a row and she is now c5. I would pick tignahri but i have nahida so i dont need him for my teams.
I get if you don’t want to, but you can definitely build and use her! I feel like people overdramatize how bad she is, she has quite a few teams that are totally usable in abyss if you use her as a support rather than a dps.
I worked so hard to pull her on her original banner because I loved her character, then eventually the community’s negative talk got to me and I stopped using her for a while. I’m glad I started using her again though!

Yeah I like to use Dehya when I need a claymore who won’t die, she helped me clear abyss with all the geo shield bosses on floor 12
Also burgeon feels really satisfying with her, she’s got good fun in overload too

I said so cause i love her, build her, have her on that hp-drain => increase skill + ult dmg set
she goes either in the 4th slot for Hutao Yelan Xingqiu team
or the team i use more nowadays: overload chevruse team
with Chevruse Fischl Clorinde
She does do some damage, and gives a lot of comfort with interruption resistance, and it helps with healers that heal in small amount over time (kuki, chev, dori too i guess dont use her)

If you pick up a Dehya con or two she can be quite good as a dps.
Nahida is a really good partner for dendro dps’ including Tighnari, you still may not need him, but I feel like its something worth mentioning 🙂
If you're willing to activate constellations on characters like Chevreuse, Sucrose, Kuki Shinobu, etc., who are much more difficult to obtain, then you might as well activate them on the standard five-stars as well.

my account is only a year and a half old, and i am only missing Mona, and three of my standard five stars are C1. I think activating standard 5 star's C1s is justified for testing and comparison; but not beyond that. I roll pretty often, and am very unlucky with 50/50s.
For selection, I love playing Dehya, and want her C1, though Tighnari Constellations are also very tempting. I feel this video gave pretty unbiased and fair advice. As much I stan and use C2 Qiqi, she will always feel like something is missing.
I have them all, so I'm picking Dehya and finally embrace C1 Dehya gameplay for max value.
I went ahead and got Jean C1 because I use her with my Furina and Wanderer teams, and oooo man that wanderer atk speed buff is delicious

Agree. I’ve put the two of them with a bunch of teams to try them out. My favorite I’ve tried so far is Lyney Bennett and Arle flex. I also just slap her in a team with at least one pyro character to mess around.

Keqing's C1 actually makes her application weaker*
Keqing's C2 is fixed but still doesn't do much (I tested)
For actual Keqing players, her current best team is without a healer, Keqing Nahida Fischl and Kazuha. You can swap a healer/shielder in for comfort at the cost of a bit lower damage. For really high invested Keqings, you can use Sara in Fischl's place.
More details about C1:
Her skill applies 2 units of electro, but it is overwritten by her C1 which only applies 1 unit. Her skill can still apply 2U for mobs who are spread far away where the C1 doesn't hit.
Some people say she cannot swirl electro because of dendro, this is not true, you can if you adapt your rotation properly.
I read Keqing's c6 as every hit grants the damage bonus, so using her burst would add like 50% damage bonus
Personally, you can't make it a tier list. You have to list every characters pros and cons because all of these characters have an limited 5 star upgrade except Dehya. And depending on someone's account they may prefer one character over the other.

General hierarchy of meta would be
Jean (Furina healer) / Tighnari (strong dps + overworld exploration) > Dehya (all purpose character, with strong cons and best for universal exploration) > Diluc (pyro dps + kit experimentation) / Keqing (electro dps + kit experimentation) / Mona (buffer + on field experimentation) > Qiqi (overcapped healer)
I think I'll be the only one who picks Mona purely for her Utility Passive lmao 😂
When Mona crafts Weapon Ascension Materials, she has a 25% chance to refund a portion of the crafting materials used.

Mona C1 for Freeze isn exactly "broken" is that for how freeze works it just doesnt matter, because the uptime decreases constantly while a target is freeze so every second a target is frozen, it stays less time frozen, so if you freeze something, that something should be on "unfroze state" that is a cooldown until it gets unfrozen, if the base frozen uptime is i.e. 4s, 15% of 4s is 0.6s so the enemy is gonna be frozen for 4.6s (WOOW), but the cooldown to get unfrozen hits a little before the constellation bonus, so when it hits the frozen enemy is already frozen for 0.5s then your mona C1 hits and you apply 15% extra frozen uptime on a 3.5s countdown, which is 0.525s extra extension!, so the target got frozen for 4s + 0.525s, but if you reapply hydro and cryo to keep the freeze, you refresh the 4s initial countdown on the frozen target, and the process repeats for mona C1, so.... is like it doesnt do anything
From a new players standpoint, I'd recommend to pull on the limited banner first and see whether or not you lose the 50/50. Then we'll decide who to get depending on who you lost to
Scenario 1: You won 50/50
Great, pick jean or dehya. DEHYA!!?? Are you serious!!?? Yes. Dehya while is almost useless in late game, but in the early game she can help you live through some of the dangerous enemies. Because 1 she has dmg reduction, 2 she has self healing. Jean while is a healer, it comes from her burst which you need a lot of energy recharge. In the early game you may not have what it takes to get that many er. That's my reasoning
Scenario 2: You lost to jean
Great, pick anyone other than dehya and qiqi. Because you already have jean
Scenario 3: You lost to diluc, keqing, tighnari
Good enough, pick jean
Scenario 4: You lost to the other 3
Unfortunate, in this case pick diluc, keqing or tighnari. If you lost to mona pick jean
That's my take, so yeah that's how highly I think of jean. You may think she's overrated, but I think she is without a doubt the best character you can lose your 50/50 to. She isn't the best character by any means, but she is without a doubt the best standard character at the moment
Tighnari has avoided me so many times whenever I lost 50-50s and instead have C3 Qiqi (a character that I personally do not plan on ever using-sorry Qiqi mains!) And I am so happy he will finally come home :)
The important part for dehya c2 is the increased duration, not for dmg, but for uptime on pyro app and ToTM buffs if tou use her as support/sub dps, its basically 100% uptime for her skill, specially if you do use her burst on your rotation
Going for my main DPS dehya (now she'll be C4, I'm going for C6), actually on C3 I'm still using arukasha's glow with energy recharge sands, and she deals pretty good dmg per hit on burst without signature, she's not that bad as main DPS tbh

I'm 3yrs into genshin came at the start of Sumeru, I usually run Hyperbloom, and I've never gotten her before so I look forward to finally use Keqing in a Quicken team that's sounds awesome
As a Keqing main, i can verify it.
Even though aggravate with fishl is supposedly keqing’s best team, I actually love her in hyperbloom with nahida, kokomi, layla. Layla’s shield allows face tanking any opponent while her burst adds freeze to the mix and keqing’s ult wipes enemies off the field after the rest of the team pops their skills. Keqing was the only 50/50 loss that I was actually excited about.
She's very fun, and works perfectly with Kazuha and Fischl on aggravate team :) You get plenty of fun movement with Keqing's teleport, Kazuha's jump and Fischl's burst. Then 4p thundering fury let's you use ur skill faster and more often, even better. Keqing's aoe burst feels very good on grouped enemies, you see so many purple numbers from her and Fischl combined, it's super satisfying. Hope you enjoy playing her!
But which is why I can't find any update guides about Quickbloom/Hyperbloom Keqing for so long years. If others of Electro characters can do hyperbloom reaction, but why Keqing can't?
@@VrtielA6300 She can do hyperbloom too like other electro characters, but aggravate just fits her way better. Also, the difference of aggravate team being good in AOE situations and dealing electro damage can matter in certain situations. Hyperbloom is very single target and deals dendro damage instead. When doing spiral abyss, i think it's usually better to play Keqing aggravate on one side, and hyperbloom on the other side. But Keqing hyperbloom is fine too.

I pulled Tighnari on his limited banner and haven’t gotten a single copy of him since. I’m going to be choosing him for his C1

I’m going to pick Mona. She’s the only one I actually use who isn’t C0. I use her with Gaming, Xianyun and Bennett. Works really well.
Also thanks for giving Jean the Shoutout. I too use her with Furina and Raiden. Usually with Dendro Traveller because I like using Traveller in story and Archon quests. And this team just destroys everyone

I really like Furina and Raiden. I also like having Anemo Resonance for exploring, so I have Kazuha. I'm going for Jean anyway, as she's the only 5-star standard character I don't have. Maybe I'll have Jean replace Sayu (though I do like having the Claymore and speed options).

@@HazelXsk8 I use Mona’s skill and then have Gaming plunge on the enemies vaping them. Both of them have at least 1 em artefact. Also, I’d recommend giving Mona emblem and and ER Weapon

Yep I do not understand it either. Aggravate boosts the electro damage dealt. If skill level and thus damage is higher->aggravate damage will be higher. Did he mistake it with bloom related reactions?

@@user-jc1kq1qb5j it's a flat bonus, like shenhe or yun jin's buff, not a multiplicative one like vaporize or melt
Aggravate itself doesn't scale with attack the same way vape or melt do; it's a flat amount based on level which then scales with EM and Electro% (and def/electro shred on the enemy). This number is added to the damage of your regular attack (which DOES scale with attack) to get the final number.
Adding attack increases the damage of the base attack portion, but not the aggravate portion. This is why the best stat for aggravate is Electro% - it affects the whole thing. Attack isn't bad, but it's not like Vape or Melt, which affect the full multiplier.
Total damage does increase when getting more attack. I think he meant that the aggravate bonus itself doesn't, it's a flat bonus based on EM

im getting mona cuz i dont have her , then next years i may pick either keqing , tighnari or dehya since she will be pretty decent with kinich (got keqing c1 or c2, dehya and tighnari c0 , dehyas c1 helps a ton with dmg which she lacks)

Despite the meme and shitposts, dehya is ironically one of the recommended pulls especially if close to c1-c2. But for pure meta, its tighnari
She's such a comfort pick I pick her in every team she can fit in. Off Field Pyro for triggers and Insane Tankiness and Sustain. I put her in Chevruse teams, Emilie teams, Navia Teams.
Benny and Deyha together give you so much you just never die and C6 Benny does so much for Deyha. I have her C2 R1 Triple Crowned lol

C6 Qiqi is useful for those not very good at the game in co-op and revive them in instances like dying to Raiden's sword slash(yes people still stay out the bubble or play devil's advocate jumping in and out) or dying to Arle mechanics.
I'm choosing C1 Dehya as after taking a 10 month break I have decided to care less about the meta and pull for whoever I want, plus my account was and still is completely fine. Not saying I didn't pull characters I liked before but just now caring less about meta.

it's a shame they don't offer standard 5* signature weapons. i play genshin for 4 years, i literally have every standard character with a lot of constellations, but i don't use any of them cause i have many limited 5* starts. but i would like tighnari's signature weapon or some standard banner bow 😢
I'll be aiming for TIghnari C1 (no pun intended). I have Diluc C2, Mona C3, Keqing C4, Qiqi C4, Jean C0, recently got Dehya C2 (lost to her going for Arlecchino), and recently got TIghnari C0. I think Tighnari C1 is better than Jean C1 and Tighnari is just so fun to play.
Just wanted to say, it was pretty nice timing to be releasing anniversary standard banner characters now of all times, although would've been better if it began in earlier anniversaries. Thing is, Fontaine has gave pretty huge glowup to multiple standard banner 5*s. When Mona was being powercrept by Furina and also kicked out of the job in freeze by Kokomi, she got a cool niche use as a Maidens Amber healer in double hydro teams like with Dehya as the pyro carry in a Furina team, but especially becoming a good hydro applicator and buffer for Arlecchino since she has standard ICD and is a frontloaded dps. She will also gain another use as a support for Mualani.
Jean also got huge glow up in Fontaine, being the best generalist healer for Furina as the anemo VV healer, until Xianyun came around and C6 Bennett, Furina, Xianyun being the vape staple like hyperbloom's 3 man staple. So Jean became far more relevant in Fontaine which effectively alters her perception than she had a year ago, which was basically limited to sunfire.
Diluc also got a big glowup. First, we had Furina and Marechaussee which is practically better than Crimson Witch on him, and then Xianyun. Boom! Dragonstrike Diluc now being made available without any collision box techs that was highly situational. Diluc got a prety big glow up there. Think he will only get better when better off field cryo applicators come around since plunges are sluggish enough for forward melt to be possible.
Keqing really only got better after dendro came out. So Keqing's relevance still remains the same even after Furina, but possibly had less relevant or prevalent teams since Clorinde basically does what she does with additional benefits. Keqing still remains the i-frame queen.
Now, Dehya. Dehya. Dehya, Dehya. Poor girl got the short end of the stick for crafted character kits. Fortunately. she also has received quite a major glow up in use cases. Nothing changed about her kit, just that what she provides became of greater value in Fontaine, since less relied on a shielder and more so on healers, plus Fontaine characters in general lack IR baked into base kits. Lyney became a Tenacity and IR support for Lyney, a pretty handy and less clunky pyro applicator for Neuvillette than Xiangling, and even a pretty fine pyro applicator for burnmelt Lyney since the burning damage you'd take hurts a lot when using Xiangling and Nahida. People often opt for Thoma, but he sucks to play without his C4 and not as valuable without his C6. Dehya also gained a few teams with Chevreuse coming out and Dehya's lunging towards enemies helps to reach enemies overload blows away. Dehya's an A-OK option for Arlecchino, although not as good as 1.0 characters, but seriously, what modern non-archon is as good as the unbalanced Bennett and Xiangling? Dehya's also got a new team with Emilie since Dehya is a pretty good pyro applicator for her who can also hold Deepwood for Emilie on Reverie. I bet Dehya's gonna become a finer teammate in Natlan as burning becomes a more considerable option of an elemental reaction since we can't expect all burning-focused characters to be NA-focused that would make Thoma a finer option than her.
Tighnari was always good in spread teams. I believe he got better thanks to Furina and Baizhu as the addition to team options and he can then use EM raiden, so its become a spreadbloom team where you can get a bit more of AoE from Furina and hyperbloom missiles aiming at different targets. I would even say that Sethos also helped TIghnari quite a bit, being the second quickswap dps in the team. Both take up around 6 seconds to do 3 quick-fired charged shots so there you have a fine dual quickswap dps team. I'd recommend a team of Baizhu, Tighnari, Sethos, and Yae/Fischl, probably Fischl since you're more likely to get aggravates and opens up more A4 damage from burst-infusion Sethos state. Baizhu can buff the quicken-based reaction damage of both quickswap dps.
And lastly, Qiqi. Qiqi got some boon from Furina's appearance since Furina buffs incoming healing bonus which consequentially buffs consistency of maxing out Ocean Hued Clam damage. We have four, no five healing drivers in the game. Kokomi, Jean (via her A1 passive), Noelle, Barbara, and Qiqi. Kokomi's best driver, primarily in a Furina taser or mono hydro. Jean is also a mono hydro driver or a taser driver. Noelle drives in a mono hydro, mono geo, or wet rock team. Barbara does what Kokomi does but quite a bit less consistent and her lack of hydro particle generation still remains. Qiqi, I found as a driver in a freeze team which is quite cope but really, the only freeze driver/dps is Ayaka. Instead, I found Qiqi to be pretty neat use case for a quickbloom superconduct team where Furina buffs ocean hued clam, Qiqi's physical damage, and Nahida's spread damage with an EM Raiden for the occasional hyperblooms. So both spread, quicken, superconduct, and hyperblooms occur. And beyond that, Qiqi got a unique use case for Skyward blade Clorinde in her hybrid phys/electro team. That's all there is to Qiqi and issue still remains that she only heals with no particle generation attached. Maybe we'll get a Bond of Life physical character at some point where Qiqi's abundant healing comes in clutch.

I would say keqing is only good if you have c6 Fischl as a person who has only C1. In my opinion Tighnari is much easier to build because we get Wanderer’s troupe over time
Keqing and Diluc are serviceable.
Tighnari doesn't clear all contents unless you have Yae, but his constellations are really good.
I think it would be pretty reasonable to activate some early cons on the standard banner characters for the sake of testing since we now have a was to target them.

Keqing will finally get a constellation ever since I pulled her on the beginners banner back in 2020 ...
C2 Dehya does nothing for infinite poise. The hyper armor is tied to passive, which lasts only for 9s.
But her E outside hyper armor still gives 0.5 poise at base, so with C2 you get more Pyro application + more damage + better uptime on damage mitigation + better uptime on 0.5 poise resistance to interruption + better uptime of Tenacity.

As a Welkin only player who didn't pull on Tighnari's banner and still have him C4 you'd best believe I'm getting one step closer to the absolute best non-limited constellation in the game. Hopefully I won't have to wait another year to get him there tho lol. I've got him twice on standard banner already so hopefully there's more to give there!

For Me Collecting standard banner character in my account is quite Good thing...
Going into 5.0, my standard roster is now: C3 Diluc, C2 Jean, C2 Mona, C1 Keqing, C1 Tighnari, C0 Dehya, and C0 Qiqi.
I would love to get Dehya's first one or two, and even Qiqi's C1, but might succumb to continue Diluc's rise.
Tighnari was always a character I really wanted since I started in 3.4, and losing Yelan to him was a sweet consolation prize. He was my first and still favorite Archer character, and I was even lucky enough to get his sig on that special banner. since I already have all of the standard 5*s, as well as a C1 Dehya and C2 Diluc, a Tighnari con seems like a no brainer. even sitting at 69 pity with a guarantee to boot!
