I cant say that there aren't Packers Fans who were vengeful towards Rodgers when he left, but I can confidently say that those patrons who cheered following Rodgers injury and ran up their tabs do not represent the majority of Packer Nation. I hope returns healthy next season and balls out, because he absolutely deserves to.

It’s a weird thing to see honestly. My cousin is a die hard Packer fan and he dislike Rodgers now. Only reason I can think of is because Rodgers demanded all that money during free agency.

As a long time packer fan I can't believe how spiteful they are after all the grateful years we had. To know every year there was a chance at a championship. Most teams would envy that. Well deserved. Go jets!

If that was bound to happen, than it's better that it happened in the very first game, oppossed to Week 7 and the rest of the season going being done and Rogers for sure missing the next season. At least now he has under a year to recover

Packer fan here: I was actually looking forward to seeing how the Jets would do this year with Rodgers. Can't believe what happened and gutted for Rodgers and the Jets.
As a milwaukeean i can vouch that we were pissed he got hurt like that after playing on grass thru rain sleet and snow for 17 years would of never wished that on him he did alot for us

All I can say is that Rodgers was never behind that poor of an Oline in Green Bay. Old QBs cant survive in this league unless the Oline is top 15. Also....Rodgers held onto the ball too long. I havent met 1 person who wished poorly on Rodgers but there was Rodgers fatigue amongst Green Bay fans. I think GB fans were excited for Rodgers in that he found rejuvenation in NY. The split was good for both parties and a lot of GB fans were rooting for the Jets after watching Hard Knocks. Hope Aaron heals well and we get to see him again.

Nathaniel Hackett-yeah that guy everyone came to the rescue of after Sean Payton’s comments including Aaron-holds some responsibility for this injury. Aaron expressed displeasure with calling so many plays that required cut blocks from their tackles because they don’t allow for AR to extend plays if necessary. And what did Hackett do? He called two. On the first their RT was basically hurdled by Greg Rousseau who almost got home for a sack. And on the second their LT almost completely whiffed on Leonard Floyd who got to Aaron easily on the play he tore his Achilles. Hackett stinks and for whatever reason keeps steady employment in the NFL.
Dumbest comments I've seen yet. That was a freak injury on a normal tackle. It was the safest tackle you'll see all year. Fyi... Rodgers literally said Hackett is his favorite coach he's ever had

If I was in charge of the jets, I would call Aaron Rodgers and say you just became the highest paid assistant QB coach in the league. I would want him on the sideline on GameDay with a headset giving advice to Wilson. Tom Brady had that with Drew Bledsoe back in 2001/2002. That could be a silver lining.

What stage of grief is this? Rich is still so hung up on this bar in Milwaukee. The vast majority of Packer fans know this was done with a wink and a nod. I have great respect for what Rodgers did for the Pack (even if it only resulted in one SB), but once he was gone (and lets be honest, he would have preferred it to be a year ago) he became fair game for mocking what we previously had to embrace as "quirkiness".

I don't think the Jets will manage six wins. They have to play the Dolphins twice, the Bills in Buff, the Cowboys, Eagles, Chiefs, Browns in Clev, Chargers. Their schedule is not easy. The best thing is to win 3-4 games so they can draft a top QB. If they finish around .500 they will not be in position to do so, unless they surrender a bunch of draft picks.
