    Does the Spanish word "galleta" come from this word "galette"? Seems so?

    A lot of people complained of this recipe being way too much juice flowing out of crust. I wish a modified version to recipe will be added.

    Too much sugar and corn starch! Hint: Use less sugar (by half) add to berries with about 1 1/2 TBS corn starch to bowl. Let stand for half hour or so. The berries macerate in the sugar with brings out the natural sugars in the fruit.

      correct! also berries are super high in pectin, you can just use an acid like like or lemon to activate and you'll be fine (:
