I made a few weeks ago a galette, and i filled it with nutela, bananas and pecans. It was absolutely DELICIOUS
I don’t know why, but when you were wrapping the dough around the blueberries, it reminded me of the crunch wrap supreme from Taco Bell 😂
I made the lemon curd from another video, then spread it over the crust. Then I added my blueberries. This combo was to die for! The crust was awesome, too.

Right it tripped me out. I kept going back like 23 times thinking I missed something, I was when was the cheese added (rewind) (huh) rewind. He has to have ment grate the butter lol.. but let’s try it with cheddar cheese and instead of fruit and egg scramble with Sparaga’s broccoli squash eggplant prosciutto 🤔
Ikr?! Then I thought, cheese? Then maybe some bits of bacon or spicy Italian sausage, with creamed eggs, just poured in the middle? Would that work? Maybe mixed with steamed veg like broccoli, carrot, or peeled and cubed eggplant á la Spanish tortilla? It'd be possible, right?

Thank you for posting, first of all I don’t cook and I wanted to enter a pie competition at work for pies and I won thanks to this video. It was perfect. I used a hand held blender and it worked just the same. My mom told me not to do it but it was so easy to follow and it was perfect! Thanks again. Didn’t take long at all.

I was looking for a cherry pie recipe and This came into my feed. I watched it like three times until I thought, yeah, I can do this! In the end, I made a cherry almond And a banana nut with honey. The crust is Outstanding (can't say it enough!) It was light, tender, flakey and buttery. I will use this as my new pastry "go-to". Thanks Chef John!

I feel like the science teacher in John really, really, really wants to explain the chemistry of why/how the butter and flour come together in a cold fridge (and honestly, I'd be cool with that)
I want to make this with apricots and cherries combined. I probably wouldn't place a whole dollop of ice cream in the middle though; extra thick double cream would be a better choice.
I wish to substitute blueberry with peaches, would it require different baking time, you think? Thanks!!

I made this delicious Galette this evening. I let the blueberries soak in the lemon juice, zest and sugar for a day before baking. Excellent recipe, thank you!
