Thanks for this amazing video ❤Is it also possible to use T-Shirts with the fabric quill ? I have also a brother and don’t know how to do
Are the pen holders different for foil quill, glue quill and fabric one? Or maybe you can use just the glue pen with a holder you already have? thanks in advance
Can I use any of these quills with leather?
would love to see the Brother DX to sell to my customers!
Hi! I have the Silhouette Cameo 2 and just tried it, but the included wood pieces are too thick for the machine, the pen doesn't move high up on the wood but just hangs on the edge. Do you have any tips on what wood to use or if I even do something wrong? thank you
Hi Monika! We are guessing they are referring to the Singe Quill (not Foil Quill, correct)?
Cameo 2 can easily take up-to 2mm of material thickness.
Firstly make sure silhouette studio software is up to date with most latest software version.
-Select Balsa wood for material
- Place the wood piece away from the corner of the mat. (Align it somewhere in the middle of the mat and test)
- Also make sure if pen is placed correctly in the pen adapter and adapter is fitting correctly in the machine.
These are some things I would consider. We have tested with all the machines listed and has worked so taking the above mentioned steps should definitely work.
Have a great day!
