- Want to visit Mozambique? Good idea, the beaches are wonderful there. As part of our African road trip, we finished up the mainland tour by visiting Anantara Bazaruto Island, one of the most beautiful island resorts in Africa. After a short flight and boat ride, we made it to the island property. Check out some of the incredible and unique animals we managed to see during our boat ride.
Mozambique is known for its gold, pirates and its island beauty. One of the most beautiful archipelagos in Mozambique is Bazaruto. This is also home to the luxurious Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort. With reefs surrounding the area, scuba and diving all around, you will be living the island life in no time.

This circus dances are ridiculous if not disgusting. That is one shitty way to travel. Staying isolated in expensive resorts and pretending you absorb the culture. Superficial.

Mozambique itself is not that expensive, but flights cost a little bit and the resort itself was expensive, like staying at a luxury hotel anywhere in the world! But the sand, hospitality, and remoteness make it all worth it!

Yes they are dolphins! But the highlight is absolutely to spot the Dugongs!
