I wouldn’t do the direct connection kits. It’s not safe to run these cars on 3.17 pulleys on 93. I went 9.83 with just a 3.17 pulley, catless mids and a c16 tune

The direct connection kits run on 100 octane

@@WIDEBODYNATION they have a 100 octane mode sure but when you mix 100 octane with 93 it equals out to be 97-98 octane if you 5gal and 5 gal.

For the original JLT you had to remove the plastic SRT air inlet that mated up with the top of the airbox when you closed the hood. Did you have to remove that piece on this updated version?

That's what I was waiting to see...Because I had to remove mine. The ram air inlet give you a more cleaner look...

Ok so JLT said No, don’t remove that hood piece from these better/newer hood scoop systems. I checked the fitment of that top cap part last night at a meet cuz I had that question from a person in-person. I’ll post a video showing the seal/fitment

@@WIDEBODYNATION Awesome! Thank you for the info. I am waiting to see if your IAT’s are any lower vs stock intake. With the stock system and Vegas ambient temps at 100°+ my IAT’s hit 140°+ it doesn’t come back below that 140° mark and pulls timing with a big power loss over 4500 rpm’s. I have tried the legmaker and it sounds amazing however, it runs even hotter. Hopefully JLT will give you a discount code
