Yea, that is one thing that surprised me in Japan. That being that a lot of the billing systems are still very manual. Though I was able to pay ahead of rent and such when I wasn't there, but it's setup you gotta get done way before going away for a while.

The variety of payment methods in Japan makes it difficult to know what steps to take to transfer money. I don't like this system that much ...D:
@@dc_srmI remember one bill required me to have a Japanese bank account, which was awkward since that was really all I used it for. One monthly bill.
