- Universal CityWalk Hollywood is FINALLY BACK OPEN!!! After shutting down in mid-March, CityWalk at Universal Studios Hollywood is now open and we could not be more excited! On June 10, 2020 CityWalk opened on a limited basis and Universal Studios is still closed with no opening date announced (yet). At the time of recording, select restaurants and shops are open for from 12-8pm daily and Universal is offering complimentary parking. If you want to stay informed with what is open and what isn't at CityWalk, we suggest downloading the official Universal Studios app on your smartphone. In this video we show you some of the new safety procedures taking place at CityWalk Hollywood and we dine-in at a restaurant for the first time in over 3 months.

You could say your predictions for when the rides will be open in universal, and what will be open there and in Disney when it opens, then for the rest of the video you could answer Q&A comments because you said you were backed up with them. I don’t know about other people but I would love a video like that

In Texas the o oy give disposable menues. Disposable silver ware and condiments in packets. Nothing like a ketsup bottle or anything on the Tables.

Good to see you guys at the parks. For us you will be our Disney and Universal trips this year. We did have a trip planned for December but have decided for us we want to wait to see how it’s going to be going to the parks. How will the social distancing work, what will the guest be able to do at the parks and what will the overall experience be. Living in Texas also doesn’t seem like a great idea to go for 4-5 days with no guarantee of getting into the park. So keep us up to date with all your great videos. It’s like being there with you 😁
I live in London, was gonna visit Disneyland this year with my nephew until all this started! So for now will have to watch your videos and plan my trip for next year😊

Family waste gonna go to disneyland this October to take my 5 year old niece for the first time but decided to wait till next year in October hopefully this pandemic is behind us so she can get the full disney experience. I know now it's limited with no fireworks, Parades or Meet and Greets. Just feel if we went we'd miss alot of the true Disney experience. Glad you guys are out and about again, be safe and keep up the great content.
Good to see you back ! First thoughts - re-use able / shared Ketchup bottles? I think the trend in the UK will be for Sachets as Id hate to have them wiped over between tables - especially as Peter touched the inside of the lid! Second - agree - using disposable masks rather than fashion masks is the way to go - they are far more comfortable (we use them on the tube here) - and hand sanitiser is a given as free! Sad as it may be this will be the new normal for the current future so I guess we have to get used to it - as for the empty - I work by Buckingham Palace and can assure you nothing is quite as eerie as walking past the palace and there are Zero tourists. Stay safe guys and keep up the good work.

I may not have mentioned it before but I’m a filmmaker. Every time you guys get nice shallow depth of field I always think, wow nice shot! That lens is killer! Oh and yes I will go back to the theater for TENET!

Bright suns Peter and Kitra. My name is Rich and I'm English but I live in Wuhan China (ground zero for the virus). I was in full lockdown for almost six months - only able to walk 100m from my apartment then home under supervision - and i got to know your channel really well as I had so much time to watch CZcams. My original trip to Disney (California) in January was cancelled so I'm hoping I'll be able to make it in October. If not I have plans to visit Disney Shanghai (for the second time) and Disney Tokyo (for the first time). If these trips go ahead I'll be sure to pick you up some souvenirs and send them to your P.O. box.. Keep up the great work, you guys always inspire me to share my love of Star Wars, Disney and movies with my students. Ignite the spark! ... Light the fire!!

Also live in the LA area, and had an annual pass for Disneyland. My family and I will most likely not go back until 2021. Hopefully things will be more back to normal by then. Been awhile as I have been extremely busy, thanks for the visit, you are a brave soul! We here in NM have been wearing face masks for quite awhile and at work it is a necessary to be on site, so you get used to them. Now that summer is fully on it is very hot with them, I would NEVER head to FLA and these things.......
We still have not ventured out to restaurants as it creeps me out a bit and will stay home for food until this thing tapers. Please be safe and keep up the videos, I so missed you guys!!!

If I lived in the area I would go for sure! We went the week before DL closed and we usually only go every other year.
I grew up in Orlando and first visited Disney before the official opening. So yes. I’m old. I live about a 6.5 hour drive now. And try to go once every couple of years. I love Disney. Grew up going all the time. I won’t go with masks - or not until lots of the restrictions are lifted. It’s too expensive not to get my full nostalgic escapist fix. I agree. It seems apocalyptic. I just can’t. But. I do enjoy watching others navigating all this. Thanks for the look.

I'd love to visit. AZ is having such a hard time right now with cases that my mindset is still in the stay at home territory. We're both waiting to see how things play out this fall with cases
before we make theme park plans for 2021. But no plans for trips outside AZ in 2020. 😔

We see reports of numbers rising (mostly in the reservation) in AZ but no mention of number of hospitalizations, number of ICU cases, number of recoveries or number of asymptomatic cases. Now the WHO is saying asymptomatic people can rarely pass it on? So confusing!
Im glad that they are able to open safely i hope that you guys are staying safe. Its a crazy new world we are going to be living in. I am one of the ones that will probably never go to a movie theater or concert for a long time. Really made me think about all the people i spend time with and all of the illnesses we are around. Thanks Annie! Yeah it’s a difficult decision to make and a very personal one. We are always very safe when we leave the house, masks, social distancing and washing. But for us I don’t think we can live inside our house in fear. We also don’t see any older or younger family members in a regular basis as well, so that makes it a bit easier on us than I know it does others.

I live in Maryland, we are within 2-3 hours of Hersheypark, Kings Dominion, 6 Flags, and Busch gardens Williamsburg. We will probably wait to see how these parks look when they open, and then make a decision.

I don't know what it is with Universal Studios, since I first went there a few years ago, it felt so different, and just in the past 2 years, I have gone 16 times and I love it every single time. I remember one time, (waiting for the halloween mazes to open)I just sat down at the quik e mart and ate a donut with butter beer and just took everything in. Talked to a few cute girls, took pictures with some friends, met some new friends, and even met Drake Bell from Drake and Josh. One of the most relaxing and fun times in my life.

I love the Habit burger grill! It's interesting to see these places are starting to open up, but are still so empty. Better to slow start though I think.
Watching Rix Flix channel, their advice from Florida is they recommend taking a coiple masks ... as a refresher when needed.
Here in Phoenix when we have gone out to eat, they give us packets of stuff, or small containers the wait staff brings us. 🍟🍔
I agree...it looks a bit post-apocalyptic. As far as masks in the heat, you might want to try neck gaiters with a more breathable material...some are moisture wicking. Many people are suggesting taking extra masks with you to the parks, so that when one get damp you can change out for a fresh one.
Also, yesterday I watched a Atlas Obscura video about cards and puzzles at Art of Play in San Diego. I bet Peter already knows about it, but if you don’t, you better check it out..

Strange days.. I'm in Eugene, OR right now and most people are only wearing masks at the store. Seems like people are relaxing a bit but there's still plexiglass and face masks here and there. I'm a cook and we're not even required to wear a mask at work, so... I know some people are gonna hate hearing that but at this point you're either 100% on board or you're not. I really hope things get back to normal for you guys and your summer starts getting awesome!
In Los Angeles in my neighborhood, I’d say 80-90% of the people I see outside are wearing masks.

I ate at a Johnny Rockets in Gatlinburg TN and the waiter there made us little pieces of artwork with ketchup it was seriously impressive.

If California follows Florida stick to going through the week, from the vlogs i've seen it seems that is safer and less crowded. Johnny Rockets surprised me with a reusable menu and the sauce bottle. Doesn't seem like they are worried about surface contact AT ALL. It might be a mild chance of contraction but with the numbers in California rising every day. I wouldn't be confident in going there.
wait, I was their in march. that's so weird that that Panda has been closed since I last went to universal. I'm in Washington so still nothing is open. I don't know when I'll be comfortable going to theme parks again, but I think that when I next go to Disney I might actually cry.

I live in NYC and was sort of entertaining the idea of going to the theme parks in FL this summer, but it seems that FL still has an executive order in place that anyone from NY, NJ or CT have to self quarantine when they get to FL for 2 weeks or for the duration of their stay, so it would make no sense for me to go now... :( I guess I will just wait until Dec to go to DisneyWorld

I live in Orlando and have already been to universal 3 times and Disney springs 5+. It’s really not THAT bad and there’s plenty of places to go to take off the mask as needed. I’ve noticed myself and others are taking their time and the parks don’t feel as rushed so that may be a nice side effect!

I live in a state where masks were never mandatory, but most employees at businesses do have to wear them me being one of them. I know I couldn’t wear a mask all day at a theme park so I’ll just wait it out. I’ll live thru u two as you show us the parks when they open😉
Our family planned a Disneyland trip for May 2020 to celebrate my daughter's high school graduation. We decided to wait until next summer. I don't think Disney will be the same without character interactions, so I hope they can find a way to restart those by next summer.
Your masks are cute, but you could try wearing lighter colored masks, which may feel less hot if you are out in the sun. Love your videos! Thanks!
