Schev's distance management is insane. Her ability to throw a kick, recover, move, and reset....just ridiculous.
She's as close to flawless as can be. Her distance management is easily one of her best attributes and the understanding of I can hit you from here and you can't touch me. Much more detailed then that but that's just to sum it up.
She's basically ALWAYS in neutral. No lag for 5 rounds.

Can someone explain why headlock takedowns are so much more common in women’s mma? Sport hasn’t evolved as much as men’s mma because it hasn’t been around as long?
It's so risky to execute a headlock takedown/throw in MMA because its slippery and if you loss the lock, your opponent can jump at your back. In men they prefer to dig underhooks than using headlocks since the competition is high and everybody knows how to counter and defend headlock takedowns and also for safety and securing position

Probably because of her wider shoulders and hips, but her clearer path to victory was that headlock. It wasn’t a pretty fight, or the most exciting, but fighters like her will only force her competitors to learn how to counter that.
Women's hips are large so hip throw would be more common I guess also there are less wrestlers in the womens division.
