- I'm in my car eating comfort food and talking about the, lets face it, DEVASTATING loss at Old Trafford in the FA Cup yesterday.
I talk about how we had it in our hands, how this will motivate the team, how we will have KEY players back for the next one, and how we should stand with Gakpo like we did with Nunez.
Watch it if you want, but absolutely NO worries if not.
Idk why, but I actually didn't want this match to go into extra time, I just wanted it to end, all of our players look tired, even Darwin, you never see Darwin tired.
Let's hope that after this international break, a few of our key players return, and obviously Salah gets back to his 100%, it was evident he's not completely match fit yet.
P.S. Cody has played in midfield, false 9, right forward and left forward this season. He needs our support more than ever, he's a graceful player.
I too had a weird feeling about this game as if I was mentally tired! 😮💨 The only thing that eased my pain after the game was that I decided to bet big against Liverpool before it & I won! 🤷♀️ I honestly didn’t want to win, but I did! 🤷♀️
As soon as United equalized I was over it as well. It was exhausting watching another 30 minutes of that game I can't imagine how exhausting it was to actually play it.

About Gakpo - the difference between him and Nunez is that he doesn't look like he's trying whereas you can tell Nunez is giving his all. It's probably just a difference in their personalities but from a fans perspective, that's how it feels while watching the game.

I’m gutted. This is the only video I’ve watched about the game, and I’m not planning to watch other videos. We were uncharacteristically sloppy giving away the 3rd and 4th goals. Yes, the lads were tired but it’s honestly no excuse for giving away the ball repeatedly and making unforced errors, and it’s why the loss was hurting (at least for the time being). Looking forward to getting more players back after the break, and we move on with a renewed sense of determination, Up the Farking Reds!! 💪👏👍🥰

Was in a Wexford pub for it where a Nostradamus of a United fan confidently predicted a goal on the break in advance from the corner and erupted in solo primal joy when he was proved correct. Interesting atmosphere after!

Of course, losing to your arch-rival in dramatic fashion is never easy to accept. In all honesty, though, it's hard for me to be too upset over this loss. This is a special team and special season. So many memorable moments already with so much still to play for. I will enjoy what time we have left with Klopp, regardless of what trophies we win or not along the way.

The Gakpo dilemma is interesting because he's definitely in that stage where he's pinging back and forth between hot and cold. When he's hot he's HOT and when he's cold he's invisible. Klopp said earlier this year that he had been playing Gakpo out of position and ever since switching him to a more forward out of the midfield he's been playing better and he has. Look at his last 10 games vs his first 10 games of the season, massive improvement. I think he may be one of those players that needs minutes to improve rather than trying to make a big impact off the bench, we're spoiled for depth it seems lol. I think he needs at least another full season under his belt before we can say he just needs to be written off.
With that said, great Creed rendition.
It is what it is. I remember when the FA Cup was actually entertaining but realistically it holds no more kudos than the League Cup in today's football.
We've won one cup this season and the philosophical view on it is that it'll just give us more wiggle-room for the League and the Europa.
BIG second to getting behind Cody but people seem to need a blame-post for anything that goes wrong, which is a little unfair yet predictable.

I couldn't watch the match where I was but I followed a football app. I was furious and had to talk myself down lol. Gained some much needed perspective from cooler LFC fans on Twitter.
But you're right. It hurt badly. What got me was the fact that it seemed to just all crash down on us at once - the long season, the massive injuries, player inconsistency or poor form, bad in-game decisions. And all of a sudden the dream stories of winning it all for Klopp, and the miracles we've been producing all year dramatically seemed to be wiped out by a shite team.
It was a really rude awakening. I don’t think I've seen Klopp that upset for a hot minute.
Question is - how do we respond? Do we brutalise every team we face from now on or do we fizzle out and sputter? I hope it's the former.
When we lost to Spurs and had all those bad decisions, and all the injuries, I felt in my bones that we would use that as motivation for the rest of the season. Now I'm glad we get the international break. Give us all time to lick our wounds, take a break from the madness and come back refreshed. Up the fucking Reds!!!

It hurts. It just hurts to lose to Man U. I’m never comfortable playing them, unless we’re 4-0 up with like 10 minutes to go (maybe 5). Been a fan since 93, saw them win so many titles. Saw them beat us so many times. That being said, I think we’ve done amazingly well considering the injury issues. Jota and Jones were at the top of their form. They were sometimes playing ahead of Elliott, Endo, Nunez, Szobo and McCallister. But I haven’t recovered yet. Up the f*ckin Reds

Hate losing to the mancs even in a pre-season "friendly" nevermind that shower stopping the potential quad. Paddy's Day ruined too. Very surprised how lethargic we looked and the decision to sub off Szobo and Mo with 15mins to go when only a goal up away from home was probably for fresh legs etc but we have to tighten up on game management and maximise our return from the remaining games. Lets win prem and party hard in Dublin with a farewell treble for Klopp. Onwards and upwards, YNWA

I think we can all feel better knowing that that game is going to be the high water mark of ManU's season. They (probably) won't win the cup, and the high point of their entire season was FINALLY getting a win against us at old trafford. 😂😂😂 Plus, the whole game I was thinking "if we win today their gonna put that much more into the league game, which is _way_ more important for us to win than a cup game." So if we had to lose this one to get those 3 points in a few weeks I'm cool with it. Even if it was heart breaking to lose like that to _that_ opposition.
