In todays video I am going to explain what happened after I sent my Playstation 5 to Sony. I sent my PlayStation 5 to Sony after I received a FIXED one from them but this ticking noise started. I hope you enjoy the video.
They fixed the issue that I had with mine. I don't know how but they did. It's the same PS5 console which is what I was hoping for anyways
I got a “new one” so quite happy is well. At least no ticking noise
I recently started to hear it like that, but only a little and at the first ignition, do you know why that knocking is heard? as far as I heard from the console, it is heard somewhere near the fan, but it is not a fan....
Ive just had an issue with my PS5 and Sony have told me to send it in. Looking online you are right, USA get boxes given to them and for us in the UK we get nothing...They actually specified "we will try to fix it, if not we will send you a new refurbished unit out" ...how is yours holding up?
The replacements they sent was perfectly fine. No noise and no problems.
Yeah I don’t want to send mine in if people are saying it’s normal because it’s only the startup it happens otherwise it’s fine what do you think?
I think it shouldn’t make that noise. Even if it doesn’t affect performance it shouldn’t do that. But it’s your call

Managed to get a PS5 in December from Argos. Ticking noise from the moment I turned it on, along with very bad coil whine... sent it straight back the next day and got a refund. Not taking the risk, and at £449 its unacceptable.
Also, no return box provided for an item of that price? And when you do get it back its probably a refurbished (USED) console! NO THANKS!

So is the ticking noise okay because mine does it on the startup but everything is okay with my ps5 otherwise
If they replaced it I think it’s not ok. But yes otherwise it works
@@JohnyRodrii yeah my ps5 works completely fine it just does 3 ticks at the startup then goes away I’ve heard it’s just liquid metal cooling the fan or something otherwise I’m happy with my console
For my ps5 its there is the ticking at the start and there is a low ticking sound when i play a game. Is that normal?
I don’t think so because they replaced mine. But I’m the end it’s your choice if you want to send it to Sony.
