My mum actually got in the wrong car once. she said it was the same car just a slightly diffrent colour and it was unlocked which is pretty common where i'm from since only 7k people live there. she noticed quickly though when the key didn't fit.
About the working girls in amsterdam, no the government doesn't look after them that well. Alot are still living under terrible conditions, have drug problems instigated and kept alive by people "providing" them the spot. Alot of the women are from other, mostly poorer countries and cannot speak dutch and sometimes even have difficulty speaking english. This leaves them in the hands of the people who got them to do the work in the first place. Also surprisingly it's not only just in the famous red light district you'll find em, but scattered throughout the city. Of course the government and the police are trying but regardless of their efforts it's a dirty business and that won't change soon. Feel free to go there, but be conscious of what you're doing.
well its not the customers fault if they go to a ''legitimate'' business to receive a ''service'' . If their customers are being sold a product which is actively advertised then you cant blame them for buying it. Its on the government to ensure there are checks and balances ..
