You would think this is a joke, but this is so close to the truth. One time me and my boy saw someone getting jumped, called 911 they asked all these questions including the street and the dispatcher was like "we'll try and send someone" the kicker to this story is that the police station was literally right down the block

I'm a 911 dispatcher, and let me tell you we often think we have to ask too many questions too. Some of it is important like subject description and do they have a weapon and such but other times we're required to ask things purely for liability reasons and it's dumb and drags things down.

There was a dispatcher that that hung up on thousands of callers in distress. She claimed she was "too stressed out" and couldn't deal with her job 🤦🏽‍♀️ she went to jail. Her name is Crenshanda Williams

This is TOO accurate. I work at a grocery store and the one time I had to call the police because a huge fight broke out and was actively happening while I'm on the phone; the dispatcher had SOOOO many questions and was getting frustrated with me when I couldn't answer everything with perfect detail in my panicked state.

Yep, this is real. Go back and watch any 911 video, they DO THIS..... they will literally chastise the caller if they dont remain calm(while their life may be in danger) and answer questions.
