That flag phenomenon, that the flag on top of the temple is appearently flying in the opposite direction of the wind, can be and has been sufficiently explained by science, it's a phenomenon known as vertical wind shear. Basically the direction of wind flow may differ with the change in height, that's exactly what's happening here, the direction of wind flow at ground level is different than the direction of wind flow on the temple's height. It's not a miracle, it's basic fluid dynamics.

wind shear is not what you are saying it is. Wind shear does not effect only one particular region in this case the area around the flag but over a larger region. Moreover the temple turret is not high enough to observe a shear

The flag flying in opposite direction can be explained by Von Karman Effect. The phenomenon depends on the air velocity, viscosity and the length of the object.

You can consider being a bit more civilized in your comment. Sometimes it is beyond the control of people. The case of STEM education in India is pretty bad, to add to it, we have all sorts of random nonsensical channels claiming to provide "Science".
Especially middle and secondary school students, who struggle with basic rationality and logic are the best targets for such videos. Schools have no room for the curious questions of children. But humans are innately curious, and so these children use the internet to fill that void. The search will always prioritize the controversial, extremist or over simplified videos over a well researched and nuanced one. And down the rabbit hole they go. By the very design of the youtube algorithm, they are shown only one side of the situation, and then we get a population which listens to only what they want to( or rather, have been conditioned to believe), and fight against everything that contradicts their uninformed beliefs.
If you can, try to disprove the arguments/claims of these baseless, nonsensical videos in their comments, logically but politely. At least few will give a second thought to it.
As for the sort of broader problem, I do not have any solution yet, but I would want to find it someday.

Yeah Vedanta was created for science but it is answering all the questions of science like the hard problem of consciousness and the hard problem of matter, so many scientists are actually turning towards Vedanta. As Swami Vivekananda said All chemistry would come to an end when science finds a single chemical out of which all elements could be derived, physics would stop when it finds one energy which will be the answer to all the energies present which is what Vedanta is saying only one, one, one. Vedanta is about self enquiry and science is the enquiry of the universe and it's components where both uses rational techniques, examples and a number of methods, daily normal experiences and experiments to arrive at the conclusion. At the depth both universe and you are same.

The best way to proceed is to make a PIL to raise scientific awareness and ask the ASI to study the aerodynamics that make the flag wave the other way. If the science is correct or unable to explain they might rejoice. However, if the science temporarily disrupts the wrong directional waving of the flag based on any aerodynamic principle and is restored once the scientific stimuli are removed, it will shatter their belief in this myth. It is also possible that they might come up with some ancient text interpretation of the scientific principle to supersede the scientific claim. As a sanatani i can say there is an explanation for everything. Nothing is happening without a reason like the flag top of the jagannath temple...whenever i see people are saying these type of things as miracle as they can't explain it i feel very ashamed...once i went through this phenomena and i found there is a phenomena called "von karman vortex street" due to this reason may be the flag flown to the other direction of the normal...i suggest u should go through this and make a detailed video...i didn't found any video on explaining the phenomena scientifically in case of that temple....so plz do that 🙏

I take objection to the usage of the word "sanatani". You are right man. This man is way stupid then I imagined. He doesn't understand how to properly research also and sometimes gives half information which is misleading. As you said he never even search for the proves for the philosophies he might find methods like drig drishya viveka, vivekchudamani and other methods of vedanta. And he says he is a science guy, India is being mislead by this so called fake science guys.
