3k - 5k - Sprints (100m, 200m, 400m) would be a solid training cycle. I train weightlifting and running, so am unsure about boxing, but sprints + middle distances are a sweet spot for cross training.
I hope you man achieve over 1 mil subs atleast you are so entertaining a sidmen video came out and I chose to watch this instead that's how good your content is keep it up lads!

Boxers and fighters in general. You may be fighters but just remember you are also runners. Live the lifestyle of runner's as well. Shoes, speed workout, track workout, long runs, proper firm, etc. There's more to running then just going for a light jog. Utilize the tool to make you a better fighter.
Hill fartlecks are extremely difficult but you’ll build crazy stamina. You jog any flat but you run almost sprint any incline. It doesn’t matter if it’s not a hill. Any incline. Do that for 3 miles 2 or 3 days a week and you’ll have a lot more cardio. That’s what we used to do in college XC and track.
Btw heads up everyone, running is not the ONLY form of extensive cardiovascular exercise, if you have bad joints or are potentially an overweight person jumping jacks or even dancing would work as well (probably not as efficient but still)
I've ran a lot but am new to boxing. In my experience 10 to 20 miles a week helped but, once I was running 40 miles a week, that's when breathing while excitedly working hard became much easier. Is 40 miles a week too much despite massive gains in cardio?
Far to much for amateur and pro boxing tbh. Amateur boxing is short and explosive so should be doing short we runs and focussing alot of sprints and then pro boxing in a training camp this will just drain you throughout. Not a need really but credit if you can clock that many miles in a week in general 😂🙌🏻
Thats because running doesnt do anything, just need sprints and actually you know, boxing, doing rounds on the bag and sparring.... Its like thinking doing swimming will help you wrestle lol
honestly running is too hard on the joints to justify doing it a lot. run on a treadmill if you really feel like running, and do bag work and shadowboxing
Except it is only that hard because you are doing it wrong. At 16 my knees were aching already from all the hell I put them through when I was younger. After running a mile and a half for two weeks, my knees felt better. Then even all the way up to 45 miles a week, and my knees still felt better than before. You need to run in a controlled manner. Also running on the treadmill is nowhere near as good as running half the distance on solid ground. It literally is the difference of picking up your legs, vs creating the momentum to push your body forward. Lastly treadmill won’t fix your knees.
I just Hajime no ippo the shit, gotta do 300 meter sprints 12 times with 1:00 breaks in between, hard as fuck, but worth it :D
Strong🔥
A man of culture I see🧘, that Animes the reason I started boxing 😂

These gentlemen are very inspiring and entertaining 😅
I feel blessed that I ran cross country prior to starting boxing. My stamina has always been top level

Those who neglect their roadwork neglect preperation
I cant run in the neighborhood because i got chased by dogs multiple times now im running in circles in my house
😂😂
That’s hilarious hahaha at least you’re still running keep it up bro
Fuck man thats motivation
When the dogs are out then it's a sprint day.
Use the dogs as motivation to run even faster

Got to apply that advice

I’m liking your videos but every one of them I’ve seen seem to have audio problems
Maybe you need a new device

I gotta run 7kilometers a day, 5 days a week to work in steel toe work boots because the police took my car and license.
I’m pretty fast in my boxing boots
I can run less than before and I don't know why, my runs have been consistent so I'm lost
Try to get some rest, atleast 4 days

Why 3k and 5k?
Can we do more than just those two ?
When u do a 3k, you can run faster so it helps with the anaraeobic side of respiration.
@SYM thanks and any idea with how much sprinting should be done when doing sprinting days?
Go to our instagram or TikTok linktree in bio and you can get yourself a free full running programme 👀

running is not hard on the joints if you do it right humans were literally built to run
?
Cardio kills gains
This is boxing tho not weightlifting. Running is 100x more important for boxong
Boxers dont want gains my friend
Wrong competition my friend
wrong sport bro. U want to be lean. Not build mass.
Yeah but imagine having all the inefficient muscle slowing you down in a fight because you have no stamina
