@@whiskey1mantis357 So he builds a big dollar car with a ton of go-fast parts, but wants to save a couple grand on the engine? There's a reason Bob Glidden and Dyno Don Nicholson dominated with their Fords, but I understand he wanted a cheap "me too" engine, which is what he got. It ruins the car, IMO.

I was 12 when I built my first engine, a 30 over 283. I bought the parts from money cutting lawns.
I'm 60 now. I have a 675hp 535 lbs of torque, naturally aspirated, pump gas 502 in a 58 DelRay
It's just a bigger version of that 283. *shrug* I'll always be on the verge of broke. I'd rather participate than watch. I stick with what I know.

That Falcon just has everything right - especially the stance.
All the comments and only one person mentioned the stitch welds , guys this guy has given new and true meaning to a stitch weld . All those welds literally looks like scars , absolutely brilliant and perfectly fits the theme of this build .
Yeah that gave me a lot of ideas for my 68 Firebird nothing's original on it anyway except for the engine in a few other things well not the engine either I used 1977 block from a wrecked GTO never even needed to bore it

When I was a kid someone loved us enough to let us have the use of a 64 for a few years as a grocery getter and I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for a falcon because of that. BUT THIS! This is one of the coolest,ballsiest,fire breathing Dragons I've ever seen!

Hi bob realy love your rat rods. my little shop of dreams are empty i have a 40s ford fire truck i like to build one day. cant even see it any longer its so wrapped in trees and weeds not even sure it still all there or laying in a pile of dust not seen it for 25 years it was perfect when put there. thank you for putting life in my dreans again broke my back 24 years ago slip and feel off a dump trailor in a rain storm. mess me up real bad still wondering about that old girl out there. how many ponies you believe to be running at the wheels of the Demon saw you building it. today saw your cold start it
