  • This video is about me ranting about the relentless rain in Merida, where the weather seems to have a mind of its own!
From unexpected downpours to flooded streets, the city has its fair share of challenges regarding the weather. This year has been a challenging one when it comes to Mother Nature. From excessive heat to torrential rain, it looks like this year is going to be a record-breaking one.

Thanks for your transparency. Extreme 🥵 heat and extreme flooding. Rethinking the wonders of Merida may translate elsewhere. Be safe Sister Queen!

Exactly the same for the Mexicans on the other side of the border. Arizona was notorious for flooding during monsoon season.

Nah, it's really not that bad. It rains for about 30 minutes to an hour, and the streets flood (but not everywhere), but the next day everything is good like it never happened. Be in by 4 pm and you are good. Every morning is a beautiful sunny day, just be in by 4, that is the tree-watering time. I've been going on 4-8 mile walks all this week and it's not that bad, our people are supposed to love the sun. NOW, I did get sunburn on my lips, my fault for not wearing the right chapstick. But it is the small trash that clogs the drainage, but it's Mexico.
