I said exactly this to someone, "I know people are gonna be surprised that we have marathons here!" I felt the same like I have heard of them in LA, NYC and other big cities but didn't even think of Cancun! I think I have heard that they have had over 30 or 40 of these marathons in Cancun. I'm not sure. The girls that ran in it said it was VERY affordable and organized!
