Those 3rd person shots are unbelievable
"I never thought I would live and exist in a day and age where we have the technology to be able to do this"
This is exactly the way I feel whenever I get a chance to go fly my own paramotor. Never take the technology for granted because it's to freaking awesome.
Sailing through the sky with a parachute and a giant fan! Gotta Love Paramotoring! Gotta Love GoPro!!
Gotta love that music-Erik Pitluga is the man.
I've never heard of this before, but it looks awesome. Definitely something I'm gonna have to add to my bucket list.

Powered paragliding is awesome!
awesome
there was a guy paramotoring around my town a while ago ive alwase wanted to try it
Tethered drone? Impressive idea!
This is for sure going on my to do list, bet it ain't easy as this looks and I can imagine the costs are quite high too
Actually its very easy I was flying on my first day of training. My unit cost me $7,300
Nic Frana a lot lot cheaper than a plane a lot simpler too but quite dangurus when you don't know what your doing
I wanna try that D:
Where is this? I MUST GO!
wow!!
Where is this filmed? It's beautiful
Where is this? Looks perfect for some mountainbiking
Anyone knows where GoPro is taking videos or looking for people to make movies ?
Wonderful Video. Please tell me the Name of the Song!
How is the third person done!?
In which country is this? It looks so amazing!! :D
i need to learn how to do this *-*
Helium baloon with gopro mounted and attached to strings or attached to him
That last shot, how did he start off with the camera on the ground then it wen t in the air with him?
i think he use a kite
the cam is just attached from the wing by a line. Then, he fix a little windsock to the go pro to keep here recording ahead
Where is this shot? The location looks amazing :)
That looks like an open world game
Freedom
what specs do they normaly use for gopro videos? 1080p 30f?
Where was this filmed? Fantastic video BTW.
Fresno California area

Looks like a quadcopter is following him, is this an AirDog - World's First Auto-Follow Action Sports Drone? Does anyone know what they used in this video?
He uses his own custom follow-cam, which is tethered to the paraglider.
(Source: I'm a close friend of his.)
Thanks meeksdigital . :)
GoGarr is it like a kite with a gopro or something?
antsolja I'm not sure. meeksdigital says it is a custom DIY follow-cam. You can see a shadow at 0:30. Maybe it is a small parachute attached to the main parachute by a tether.
GoGarr, I am a friend of the guy in the video. The follow cam does not involve any sort of parachute, it's a proprietary rigid-winged apparatus that Chris designed and built himself, and it's tethered to one of the lines of his paraglider.
What is the name of the song?
How long do these things last for?.. A few hours?
Yeah a couple hours usually.
song's name?
How did you get the trailing shot? Quadcopter?
He build a device that tows from his wing and holds his gopro steady
ooo thank you
1:16 Miramar
how fast do those things go?
Depends on the paraglider you fly and the wind. You can be flying into the wind and not be moving at all or could be flying with the wind with a fast paraglider and be going 50 some mph. The best part about them actually is that you can fly slow and low.
Nic Frana i just had a feature movie idea. like a scifi type of thing
Screenfreak Productions most of these things fly very slowly in comparison to a plane but they can dive down from high up and get some awesome speed
What's the name of the song????????
"slick talk" by me Erik Pitluga.
SO WHO FILMED WHO????..
I wonder how beefy of a motor you need to be able to do that
depending on your weight, as little as an 80cc 2 stroke.
Can you sponsor me in mountain biking
No

People like the guy in this video soooooo need to just get SUPER training along with a Flat Top & Dominator. The differences are just incredibly huge. When you watch his hands you can see he just is not really controlling the glider. The glider is flying him and he just tells it which way to go. That is a really scary thing. It's crazy how common poor training like that is where they just chuck someone into the sky with no real training or skill at all and think because they got in the air that they are a pilot. Then they quickly build a horrible habit of letting the glider fly them. One bad thing happens and they just do not have the skill or reflexes to be able to deal with it. Then getting the right gear is also absolutely critical. Zero people have ever died on a Flat Top paramotor but 14 people have died in the sport on gear like you see flown in this video. For those interested in the sport it is so incredibly important to call 800-707-2525 and at least talk to an incredibly skilled pilot that can explain in exacting detail what all the differences are.
Dell Schanze Piss off u parasite. We don't want to hear ur drivel abt flattop shit and anything else u want to try and force feed those who are gullible to listen to u...........
Todd Hazell Ah once again the guy walked away completely uninjured because he was flying a Flat Top. Had he not bought a piece of crap prop from the usppa scam liars he would have had plenty of power to climb as he was accustomed to. So again it's blatantly obvious the Flat Top saved his life and he knows it. He will never buy anything but a Flat Top from now on but will always make sure he gets the true and real props from the manufacturer instead of liars like all the bashers. Protection from the prop is obvious. The unit in the video above doesn't have any. Crumple zone obviously works and has saved numbers peoples lives. Again the guy in the above video doesn't have it. 5 of the 19 to die last year drowned and again the unit in the video above doesn't have the quick release harness like the Flat Top. There is really no excuse to fly anything but a Flat Top until other manufactures update their units to the WPPGA standards like the Flat Top is. The liars and bashers don't seem to care one bit who they get killed and just talk endless garbage about the safest gear on the market and the very best training. So many people end up dead just because of the liars out there. For those interested in the sport it's absolutely critical to listen to reason and logic from true expert pilots instead of those who can't fly for crap that bash, trash and argue with experts when they have no clue what the heck they are talking about.
I dunno, paramotor flying is kind of cool but not much different from riding a hot air balloon. Sort of slow and boring.
