- Fishing the saltwater for whatever bites using STEAK!? Will this work? We head out to go saltwater fishing and crabbing in North Florida for anything that bites. I've heard that both chicken and fish can be good bait.. and we've tested bacon before. Would STEAK work?? Hopefully we can locate some fish and possibly some crabs and hook into something with the steak, while also possibly finding something to bring home and do a delicious catch and cook!! I did not expect for this to happen..

I’ve used beef for crabbing for years. Trick is to let the meat spoil a bit. I put it in a mason jar and set it out in the sun the day before. Adds a bit of stank to it.

Hey bro I was wondering if you have ever been fishing in Northern California? We have a nice fishing spot called Lake Mendocino (in ukiah ca) But if you ever come up here you should definitely try it out.
You should try raw bacon for crabs it works well for crawdads cant see why it wouldn't for crab.. also after boiling you should put in a dry pot or foam cooler and cover with your seasoning and few tabs of butter let the flavors melt down through

I just went crapping today yea crabs are 45 a dozen for #1s. I use the same traps they work well but the kite string needs to be upgraded.

Last year when I was down in Florida on vacation I caught crabs on my rod but couldn’t eat them bc the have weed sprayers that make the water bad and u can’t eat the fish

I know how irritating it can be to go out fishing from the dock and not catch anything 😂 but anyday on the water is better than a day on land. With that being said it is a little more enjoyable wen we are able to actually catch fish

When fishing for flounder you shouldn’t cast in the same spot cuz if u cast there a few times there either isn’t one there or it isn’t biting there but that’s just for still sitting fish like flounder

Cut into strips about 90mm long and 30mm wide or for normal ppl 9cm long and 3cm wide
Try putting the Steak on the hook line cut the steak into Quarters and fish with it
