I like how people watched your video to then tell you how to do it.😂 Keep up the good work man!

Next time you want to make holes in a plastic bottle I recommend using a soldering iron good luck 👍

Trust me, I am by no means criticizing, but just a couple simple modifications try out. Like someone else said, try using a soldering iron for holes, or an old nail heated up by a lighter. Not right or wrong, but easier than drilling.
As gratifying as the wire ties are, instead, maybe sometime try making 2 holes opposite each other and pass a stick through them. Then, tie your string to the stick to retrieve the traps. This is also helpful when you toss your traps out. After you toss them out, slowly pull them back towards shore, but just for a second. This will help knock over the trap, so it lays flat.
The only other recommendation I could make, is to try 3 liter soda bottles (Dollar Stores usually have them). They give a bigger trap area, like your rectangle bottle, but the opening is bigger, too. Bigger opening, bigger fish. I make & use them for crawfish.
Good luck! (but it looks like you’re doing good without my input!)
