Ok. Love it apart from no light.
But I love how easy it is to get notes on and off my remarkable 2 on my mobile and desktop apps. How do you get notes on and off these Android ones like this?
Does the pencil tool have pressure-sensitive feature that allows shading capability like RM@? How is the writing experience? Just like writing on paper?
Hi! Would you say that the writing feel for this is *identical* to that of the Remarkable 2? Or is it better/worse? Also, do you have any info to share about backing up and restoring notes? Thank you in advance!
Weird how he didn’t mention how the writing feels like…
@@galesal1109 yeah sometimes he lets himself go in details not that relevant. he talked about the physical resemblance while customers will clearly worry about the actual writing feel.
Does it have sd card slot?
simple an straight question:
is the writing feeling experience is actually on par with remarkable 2?
I can't find it here in the UK... and it doesn't help while searching with Xiaomi calling it a *_"Note",_* many of their phones going by the same name.
Does this support language other than English/Chinese on system menu? Or can I use app that is on other language than English/ Chinese
As if it doesnt have a fast refresh rate. How about palm reject features? And writing experience?
This got to be the best RM2 competitor in the market now. Once the note taking features get updated it will level up the game. Hopefully it’s more stable than RM2. Thanks for the review
I would alss consider the Lenovo Smart Paper. IT does not feature sideloading apps yet, but that will surely come. And there is a backlight. But yes, with these two devices, the RM2 can pack its bags.
Can you install onenote on it? How does it perform?
This device looks absolutely like the thing I am searching for. Perhaps the only thing they could do better is to be 300 ppi and to be Carta 1250.
You mentioned that you shouldn't be using pens like those with plastic screen based devices. Does this unit have a glass screen? I suppose it is textured to make it feel paper-like?
What do I need to do to be part of the raffle for this tablet?
I just got the RM2 keyboard! I love it. also I have sent several messages about the hisense eink phones and trying to find out which work in the USA any help? Id love to buy one from you.
I have a9 on the way. I actually wanted the a7 for the larger screen, but I think I read somewhere that the a9 (despite not having 5g) has a better chance of working with our bands. let's see.
I'm keeping my other phone around just in case.
Damn i would really like to have the same split screen mode on kindle scribe…that would make kindle very desirable device…
Boox air note 3 is more expensive, so is this tablet better value for money? Any sd card support?
Does it integrate with cloud services like Dropbox and OneDrive?
I'm sure by installing said apps and choosing the right folder to share automatically, it will work like a charm.
Now make one with glow light and colour so I can buy one. For now I'll manage with my Fold 4.
Pls a video playback test
Is this still not in English?
is this 7 inch? or more?
10.3-inch
i lookig for a new ereader on this size ,sadly no glowlight no buy for me
Everyone please look at this gentleman's comment and consider it the next time you want a remarkable 2. Hahaha
We completely agree, not having a glow light is no excuse in this current industry
@@goodereader I never understood what kind of light is Glow Light.
Can you explain it to me pls. It's a Front Light, Back Light, Edge Light. Or has nothing to do with the possition of the source light. Thanks in advanced and sry for my english.
compared to the a5x?
Hey there, the super note on fortunately is not much of a contender in this day and age so we don't make it a point to compare things to it
@@goodereader lol thanks that's a prefect comparison right here 😂 just want that rubber screen feel on a fresher device
Yeah for sure, but we aren't going to produce that video.
Six in the canister .....oh yeah!
Lol
Hi
It looks very nice, but I'd be concerned about privacy. I wonder how often the device phones back home to the mothership?
Yeah definitely. Storing confidential notes on this would give me anxiety.
Probably at every hour.
The price is the bait from Xiaomi, that's the reason I don´t own anything from that brand.
I just give all of my data to Google.
Guys the writing feel is good but there is a problem with the stylus’ rod ( don’t know how to call in in English) the rod is made with fibreglass I think and after two days of writing the rod is getting really bad , the tip is divided into parts and looks like a tiny brush, in this condition you have to change it to new one! One rod for two days, seriously? And you can not buy it anywhere! So I decided to return this book back to the seller. So pity😢
can you please tell us more on your experience with this device.
review on this device is so limited.
thanks
@@LawrenZza88 I returned this device back to seller in one week after I bought it🤷♂️
"Buy one here" link is missing?
Edit: No glowlight? Have they lost their minds? I guess I don't need a "buy here" link...
This would have been a no brainier for me if it had a glow light. It’s what I’m missing on my remarkable
I'll likely be getting this tablet. I do all my reading during the day time.
Still waiting after ordering it a month ago.
@@victordaga4072 I cancelled after 1,5 months of waiting without any progress on my order.
have you gotten your device?
how's your experience on it?
I refunded it after not getting any progress in 6 weeks@@LawrenZza88
Why no backlight? We are night creatures 🤦🏽♂️
under $400 :) just $399
Yes.
I don't get it ?
Why Gjaomi ?😂
Because they sent us a bunch of samples.
@@goodereader Heads up, it's pronounced "Shao-me"... (thanks for the review!)
Please do not look down on others on pronunciation
@@goodereader My apologies if it appears I was looking down on anyone.
i hate this greyish colour of the screen. remarkable is way whiter, eh?
Hello everyone,
I am currently on the lookout for a digital device that can serve as a replacement for my laptop, computer, or tablet, without causing strain or discomfort to my eyes and head during extended use. Through my research, I have identified two technologies that seem to fulfill this requirement: R-lcd and E-Ink. However, I am open to being corrected if there are other suitable options available.
In my quest for the ideal device, I have established the following criteria:
1. Internet access: The device should enable me to fully enjoy the benefits of the digital world.
2. Comfortable usage: I am seeking a device that I can comfortably work on and view for extended periods.
3. Reduced reliance on traditional computers/tablets: Ideally, the device should minimize the need for a regular computer or tablet for work, information consumption, and productivity purposes. While video playback is not crucial, it would be a bonus.
After extensive browsing and watching various videos, I have come across several options that might be suitable, varying in terms of price:
1. Color E-ink tablets, such as Onyx Tab Ultra C or BigMe.
2. B&W E-ink Big Tablets, like Onyx boox max Lumi or tab X.
3. Lenovo Twist models that combine E-ink and OLED.
4. A separate screen that supports either of these technologies.
Considering cost-effectiveness for my current needs, I am inclined towards two options:
a) Onyx Tab X or Lumi, due to their larger screens suitable for work. I may consider attaching a smaller tablet for content consumption, such as reading, in the future.
or
b) Onyx Tab Ultra C or BigMe, as they offer color support, which can be advantageous. However, I have discovered some drawbacks associated with these models as well.
I would greatly appreciate your input and opinions on this matter.
Additionally, I have a couple of questions:
1. Where is the recommended place to purchase these products? Should I buy them immediately or wait for a specific timeframe or purchase exclusively from the official store?
2. If you have any other product recommendations that align with my requirements, I would welcome your suggestions.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
