- After our full interview regarding the Amazon Kindle Scribe, I let my friend Olivia try the reMarkable 2 for the first time. Hopefully this gives you some insight to the slight differences on the Scribe vs the reMarkable. Feel free to ask any questions you might have in the comments. I'll link all the products I discussed below here as well. My Productivity Tools Playlist - • Productivity Tools

This was so fun to watch! I’m such a visual person, so it’s awesome to see you both playing around with the products in real time.
Thanks for watching :)
This makes a lot of sense since there’s probably many of us who started with the Scribe and now will work backwards and compare existing devices to that. I could have bought a reMarkable 2 + Scribe Premium Pen + fake case combo for a similar price to my Scribe Premium + fake case combo (factoring in a referral code) but never felt good about the aging hardware. Plus I would have felt like I wasn’t getting the true and complete experience that they intended and charge big $$$ for. I’m still happy with my decision. I think Supernote is showing reMarkable what a meaningful hardware update looks like in 2024.
Good point, I think of the Scribe as the sort of 'gateway drug' to e-ink notetaking devices. Now I'm going to finish my reMarkable 3 wishlist vid and then on to Supernote Nomad content, love that little device 😁
Thank you. I always love watching both of you chatting and demonstrating the devices. I have (and love) the Scribe, and the reMarkable looks like a great device as well. Eventually, I will look to get a color e-reader/note-taking device. Thanks for all the great content!
Thanks for watching Lou, working on a rM3 wishlist for next week! Also I have Pocketbook Inkpad Color 3 otw, so will review that at some point too, it'll be the first Kaleido 3 screen I use so very excited for that 😀
@@VladimirKostek Looking forward to it! Thank you!
it's just a matter of time before scribe has all the functions of the remarkable.
Whoever releases the smudging tool will have my money
You are probably right, by smudging do you mean like a kneadable eraser or a soft eraser?
@@VladimirKostek smudging like smearing the graphite on the pencil
@@ch3ckm8 Ah, like a blending tool. My $ is on Supernote. I'm working with their team to improve the new drawing app they released. The soft eraser they have is pretty good for deshading, something I haven't found on any of these devices
I couldn't avoid noticing the Portuguese (my mother language) written on the black screen for "buraco" and "mamãe". All in all, it seems that the Kindle Scribe is much better than the reMarkable 2 (I have one and I can't even add bookmarks to books and the automatic zoom function on PDF's, that I liked a lot, is now gone with their software updates. They seem to be going backwards.
The reMarkable isn't great for books sadly, I do love it for notetaking tho. Good eye! A minha família é do 🇧🇷. Vc e de que parte?
Lovely geeky video.
Glad you liked it!
This was interesting thanks
Thanks for watching!
dude, let her talk. you interrupt and interject her like 30 times in this video, not to mention jumping to share your feelings before she can
Fair point, this was actually after an hour and a half interview we did which is on the channel and was just some bônus content we filmed. I debated not posting it, but figured it might be useful for some people. Maybe not, thx for the feedback tho
Definitely. We have all done it sometimes though, but glad they recognize they need to let the other person talk. The video was helpful however, so glad it is posted.
You keep interrupting her, my god
I appreciate the feedback. Another viewer commented about that, too, and I'm taking the feedback to heart. This was my first time creating content in an interview format, so it was somewhat of a test run--viewer commentary like yours helps me to continue improving.
@@VladimirKostekyour videos are really good! I love the in depth reviews
Appreciate that, I'll be reviewing the supernote nomad soon!
