In this video I brought my artists friends together to draw popular characters from memory, but with a twist. Each of us will have an extremely short period of time to do our drawings. This session got sweaty.

I have an idea if you like to its same like the one in the video but you put 1 word and the other had to add 1 more like : banana and others can add like banana boat, banana ice cream, banana milk ect.

I love how "Is Vegeta the blond one" doesn't just have a simple yes/no answer, but if you know nothing about DBZ it's really hard to explain

(double edit: the part that's confusing is not whether he's blond or not. It's the "THE blond one" that's the issue. He's... A blond one, sometimes, but there is no ONE blond one, and if they ask that, it's impossible to know whether they are actually picturing Vegeta or not)
Super easy, okay so space monkey supermen, come from outer space to destroy the planet, but spacemonkey superman(goku) is a good guy, so he has amnesia, and doesn't remember the bad stuff (like his missions destroying the planet). Gokus dad dies, then his best friend gets killed, when his best friend dies it unlocks goku's evolution(yes like a pokemon) and his hair grows and changes colors.

I was absolutely devastated and traumatized to see that not one person drew a paw reaching for a pack of mints in this episode during the "What the Dog Doin" portion, an absolutely unforgivable blunder. Clearly no one could properly draw the iconic vine from memory. I expect monetary compensation for the damages done.

I think it would be really cool to see a different interaction of this:
- Pick simple characters like you did
- First round is 5 minutes or something longer
- Each round progressively gets quicker, with the last round being like 30 seconds
- Watch the drawings go from decently detailed to scribbles
I think there's a mode for that I'd you're not joking lol

This is a good idea since everyone gets different characters, you would have a mix of detailed and rushed drawings for each character
This is a bit different from the "Knock-off" mode and I think it's a neat idea! Everyone gets to draw the same starting prompt but some people will be able to take their time and add detail while others have to scramble to draw anything while still maintaining their own art style rather than copying the previous person's.
As an art exercise this is excellent (and very funny)
The pain that I feel knowing how hard it is to draw quickly and still get the details across... this is so impressive 😭
An animated FX round would be awesome! Ya'll could do a handfull of effects for prompts like speed lines, electricity, energy beams, huge possibilities!
I wish you would've edited a picture of what the characters look like during the reveals! So we could see side-by-side :) i feel like it wouldn't be that hard to do, and it would add a LOT to the experience! I dont know a lot of the anime characters so it would be nice to know what the characters actually look like 🤣

i find it so interesting that so many artists drew pikachu with a black/brown bit at the end of it's tail when... it doesnt have that. they've collectively just had the mandela effect.

Technically there are Pikachu with black tipped tails, such as the cosplay Pikachu from OR/AS. There’s also Pichu, which have solid black tails, so some confusion might come from that too.

I love the look eggman from the side gives u, like u just bumped into him in the grocery store and it’s too much for his day to handle. This is like the second look like the “really? Really???” I love him

A fun subversion of expectation for Paper Mario would be to draw the simple line (for the "profile") but then add a rather detailed shadow to signify that it is actually him. I think that'd be fun.
I actually decided to try sketch along at the end and it was awesome trying to draw super quickly and seeing how my stuff compares to people who’s been in the industry at least for a bit, also shows how I cannot remember what any character looks like 😂
Also, how are people STILL getting the coloration on Pikachu's tail wrong? He never had black at the end!

idk, maybe one specific Pikachu does, but my guess is they aren't drawing that specific one. Especially when they draw them male.
Maybe it's the because the ears are tipped black? And, design-wise, it's more common to have an alternate color tip, rather than the base.

Speaking of the FX-OFF/FX Animation Challenge you mentioned, is there way you could play a game of Animator Clash in Gartic?
A clash between 2 (randomly select or pre-planned) *Power Attacks* (like a kamehameha vs a hadouken, bubblebeam, laserbeam, or any other creative power beam of choice that visually reflects its nature) and get creative with the visual results of the collision between both!
-Would a beam type overpower another?
-Would they implode & cancel out?
-Would they accumulate and explode?
-How?/Why?
I think it'd be super fun to make and watch, and also great FX Animation practice for you guys!
I think it would be interesting if you did these same prompts but with much more ample time. Then we could see just how much better they can be with time to concentrate.

To answer the question of "Does an echidna have a long snout or not," there are echidnas with long snouts and ones with short snouts.

I think you guys should try One Piece Fruits for drawings, everyone picks their devil fruits and they can draw their character of choice/OC with said devil fruits, probably gonna see Juny going god mode or something haha
To be fair, in the first game link DID have a big ol' cross on the second shield you could get. I don't remember whether it's on the little shield, but it's definitely on the big one.

Hold up, hold up, hold up! Juny is not too old for Flapjack, he just may not know the character, lol. Flapjack was right before Adventure Time's relevance.
I will say, Flapjack, Chowder, and My Gym Partner's a Monkey... hated them all and actively did something else on those Friday nights before Camp Lazlo came on, lol. Camp Lazlo was terrible too, but as a preteen... I liked elephants. To me, the only good thing that came out post-Foster's (that I can remember explicitly from CN) was Young Justice's first two seasons, but after seeing what it becomes when given FULL creative authority by DC and HBO Max, it became so much better (even though I wasn't a fan of Season 3).
