- This is three days in my life as a sophomore majoring in Chemical Engineering at the University of Michigan! This was right around finals week, and I was in 18 credits of only STEM classes this semester, so the stress levels were definitely up there, but also it happened to be the first few really nice days of the semester, so the stress was balanced with the happiness of being able to go outside and not freeze. :)

Ahh so glad to hear it! I would say make sure to start your essays early to give yourself plenty of time, and don’t be afraid to dive deep into the specific clubs, research, opportunities, etc. offered at Michigan related to what you want to do in your “why Michigan” essay-you got this :D

Curious with 1600 SAT why didnt you even try IVY league?
I did apply to Cornell and Princeton, but engineering isn’t exactly the main focus of the most of the other ivies, so I didn’t apply to those. Financial aid was also a big factor-would you rather accept a full ride and then some to a top 10 school for your major, or pay $300k+ for your degree at a school where the program for your major is not as highly ranked/respected in industry?

I would love to share about my experience in high school and plans right now. I going to short it out so you won’t read a long paragraph.
High school 2019-2023
9th: It was fun and new get some experience then March 2020 happened. 10th: Online nothing much to talk about sophomore year.
11th: Went back to school and the busy year.12th:Bad in beginning but at the end it was sad and happy
Goals now and future
Right now I taking a gap year so I going to start college in the Spring 2024.
Money: during my college years I planning on saving money for retirement, Build a emergency fund, have a good credit history, I want to do a internship that allows me for leadership and last get a part time job.
Health: Workout at the gym and play basketball and martial arts.
That’s a great balance of professional, academic, and personal growth! I love it

I love the vlog! It was cool that you vlog it reminds of the 2000s when kids/teens vlog for school. I saw a lot of Chemistry symbols good luck a lot of study. Also I already told you I graduated high school this year in case your wondering what major and minor I doing. Note one of the majors I want to do only allows 30 students in the program so if I don’t get in I got a back up plan
Plan 1: Major Emerging Media (Animation) Minor:Biology and Real Estate.
Plan 2: Major: Biology (BS) - Zoology and Pre-Veterinarian Science. Minor:Real Estate
