So refreshing to see top tier players like Panduh getting killed in .04 seconds like I am every single time I step into the crucible. I watch a lot of content creators and their lobbies seem to be full of blueberries that are ripe for the slaughter and they get 50+ kills and a 9.0 KD. I get into the crucible and I could get the drop on an enemy by half a second with head shots and still die. And yeah, I've got gigs of internet, so it ain't that.

You should try gutshot straight/target lock, I was killing with 10 body shots, 5 bullets less than my DSR/target lock

“All the new guns are gonna have a recoil pattern and I don’t know why” well it’s because they’re trying to standardize it rather than a gun jumping to the left randomly then to the right because it felt like it.
Perpetual Motion is my "go to" perk everytime it is available on a gun!

Maybe the reason why you feel it isn’t sticky is because the sight on this gun has a reticle sway issue, don’t notice it too much personally but I play on controller lol

I have the same roll as you except I have hammer forged for the barrel. I'm on roller and I feel like I get a lot of ghost bullets with this thing too. 600's have always been my least favorite smg architype tho.
Harder to get but the strand 600 is really good as well. Rolls TL, small mag, and the rocket cleans up alot.

I have plenty of god rolls but i seem to have bad luck for the unending tempest. I have atleast 3-4 of them that have 4/5 rolls
controller user here and i 100% agree. unending tempest feels superb, but i miss way too many shots with immortal (DSR/TL)

I still think Shayura’s is the better SMG of these two, the extra 2 meters of Range and Stability makes it feel better, and the sights are better on it too imo. Unending Tempest is still a really good SMG but its Range stat is underwhelming and puts it in Immortal territory… which the Immortal has a higher TTK. If I didn’t have a God Roll Adept Shayura’s this would definitely be my main

@@Edge8829 Target Lock on Unending Tempest goes from 0.80 TTK to 0.70 which is pretty good right, but Unending Tempest stat for stat with Immortal if they both have Smallbore/Ricochet/Range MW they’re both at 22meters of Range and Immortal has Adept Range which takes it to 23meters with a 0.67 TTK. So Immortal is better close range SMG of the two, the TTK is better and the Range is identical to Unending… so that automatically defeats the purpose of wanting to use it unless you don’t have a God Roll Inmortal. If you want a longer range dueling SMG Shayura’s is better because it has 24 meters of Range and it can use Adept Mods for more stats. And personally I think Shayura’s has the advantage because you can use Conditional, most will argue that Unending can use Cloudstrike which is true… but in today’s META, being able to shut down Well and Bubble is more important than trying to Chain sniper kills. Because I’ve seen games go from 2-4 to 5-4 as soon as Supers go into play, Bubble is too strong so equipping Conditional or Witherhoard is a plus for me
@@LeJunny.03 ttk is nothing with d2 shitty tick rate servers. You'll always trade. U ending tempest is far superior now as 600s are easier to land shots with at "longer smg ranges". The neomuna smg is excellect too but really hard to get a god roll

Its not a seasonal gun, it's a playlist weapon, it wont go away in the next season unless they choose to take it out of the pool. Even if it was seasonal all seasonal guns are still accessible until the next expansion.

I still think the play is DSR with this. It just makes the thing feel stickier. I'm usually more of a Moving Target guy as most shooters I typically lane with semi autos so the movement while ADS I tend to enjoy more but with this I found DSR just made it feel significantly better when it mattered.
Perpetual is better with fragile or target lock :v, to help the handling
@@pecador_tor If you really care about handling, just use immortal, it has so much more at base. And even then I feel like most SMG-usage comes from PK titans these days

@@pecador_tor (This is going to be a little long, sorry) See and I tend to feel that way too but the largest difference with the Unending Tempest (and most 600rpm I think) vs the Immortal is that the Immortal has really great base handling while the Unending Tempest doesn't, which makes sense because I see the Immortal as being a more aggressive weapon to push with it's better handling and the faster RPM while the Unending Tempest has better range, stability, and aim assist giving it a slight edge when it comes to lane short halls.
With that said I find that in 6s Perpetual is nice but in 3s it comes down to play style. If you're an aggressive player who likes to carry their team on their shoulder then Perpetual is great but if you have moments where you're needing to stay still for even a moment where Perpetual won't be up? I'd rather have DSR as it's just always going to be active when I need it.
In the end it's different strokes for different folks. I just wanted to add that; Personally, as someone who enjoys the more movement tied perks, I've appreciated and enjoyed DSR more on this particular gun and I'd imagine a lot of it is due to it's base stats that compliment it well.

I think what would help mitigate all these fast rpm metas is if we just removed damage perks like target lock from them. They already have the ability to kill extremely fast, why should we be able to double dip, basically making every other archetype useless?

I have an Unending Tempest with 71 range, 34 stability, 28 handling, 22 reload speed, full bore, appended mag, dynamic sway reduction, target lock, and a handling masterwork (I use Ophidian aspects though so is this pointless now? 🤔)

Pvp isn’t fun anymore. No gun skill is required anymore and positioning doesn’t matter as much. You can be positioned well. Peek for 1 hand cannon shot and an smg will melt you. 😒

Smallb,acc,perp,TL/FF,RangeMw is the godroll on console.
I got lucky and got a roll that has both TL and FF so i can swap around depending on if they have overshields.
Immortal with TL is still better but you can outrange it by almost 2m with unending.

Massively overrated, just like Shayura. "But the range..." yeah so explain why I almost always beat this and Shayura with a Submission or Multimach? Oh yeah, because 600s shoot way, way, way too slow to win fights even with crits every shot.
