The Genius Aretha Franklin wrote this. This song was personal for her during this time. She doesn’t get enough credit for her songwriting. More people are just realizing how amazing she was on piano. Elton John, Carol king, Tony Bennett, Mariah Carey, and etc say she was not only one of their favorite singers but pianist. She taught her own self how to play. The undisputed Queen 👑

@@eddieandrews3854 She had so many background singers and from this video footage I really can't tell for sure who they are. I do know her sisters are not on this particular video. I believe it's Charnessa Jones, Evelyn Greene, and Wyline Ivy, but still not 100% sure. Of course someone is gonna come thru and say it's Carolyn and Erma Franklin or The Sweet Inspirations and it's not! 🙂 The Sweet Inspirations are actually doing the backing vocals on the song itself.
