That sound you hear from Kevin is an in breath. He so often can’t skip a beat to breathe, so he figured out how to modify that sound we all make when we take a quick deep breath.

Nobody does mashups and medleys like PTX! Their transitions and arrangements are impeccable. I agree that Kevin and Avi are the unsung heroes of their “Evolution” videos, which, as you can see, are done in one take. For a more recent mashup you might try New Rules x Are You That Somebody. Matt and Kevin use the beat from one song underneath the other song. Great reaction! 😊

This original is heavily produced and synthed and they do it with just vocals.
It’s a masterclass in timing and harmonies as Mitch runs up and down the scale 🤯

Great reaction! I do think that this is their best "Evolution." I have to echo everyone who's suggested the Popspring 2016 mini-concert: seeing them do this live is incredible. Then you get the other three songs, all PTX originals. The stand-out for me is Can't Sleep Love, where Mitch has the most incredible solo, rap plus singing, and the Japanese audience goes totally wild. And Kirstin's song Water, which is beautiful and heartfelt.

You should check out the 12th song in the sing-off competition that they won. Very Young, but awesome! Some say that was when the stars were born.

Have you done the 90's Dance Medley yet? If not, do compare it to their early evolution videos. When I do the same, I enjoy the heck out of their sheer, raw talent and chutspa single singer medleys, but they are so much better, more polished, and even more powerful after ten years of singing together!
