An archaeological mission led by the renowned Egyptologist Dr. Zahi Hawass has discovered a mummy that may be the “oldest and most complete” mummy to date ever found in Egypt.
During a special press conference, sponsored by 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐬, Dr. Hawass announced yesterday many important findings in Saqqara, the most important of which seems to be the discovery of a shaft 15 meters deep.
What was found inside the shaft may be considered one of the most amazing and exciting discoveries by Dr. Hawass so far.

If Egypt simply decided to close the borders to any Europeans or Americans, that would be their right, let alone whether or not to authorize excavations.
Europeans and Americans have exploited the Egyptian people too much and stolen too much Egyptian history. Egypt has the right to self-determination of peoples.
And I sincerely doubt very much that any European or American has a DNA match for someone who lived on the grounds of their own home 4,500 years ago, yet they don't complain about archaeologists doing archeology in their own country.
