Ever since I was a child I wanted chickens. Now I have a little boy (almost 2 years) who loves chickens, and every day asks for "my own bok Bok?" We are moving in a few weeks, and when we are in the next house I will buy some chicks for us to raise from hand and fulfill both of our childhood dreams and wishes ❤️☺️☺️❤️
Back in my old flat, one night while preparing dinner, I noticed a lizard sticking out its head under the fridge. We stared at each other for about a minute. Out of curiosity, I took 3 grains of cooked rice and placed it under the fridge. The strangest thing happened. Slowly, the lizard stuck out its head and ate the rice. This became a routine and my nights were never the same. I found myself looking forward to cooking and eating dinner with my new found friend whom I fondly call 'Lizzie'.
I have a lil’ corgi called Zadie with a feisty personality, but she is also very affectionate UwU
As a side note, off the top of my head, I love wolves (an all-time favorite) and lynxes. There’s too many animals in the world to choose from though lol

I lived this dream life as a child growing up. Yet one day my parents moved. So from that time on I lived everywhere in life as the life I found in the place dreams come true to a dreamer back to the dream. It's interesting how when you live your dream others come to life. To start their own journey of there dream life.
When I heard you mention the story of the Velveteen Rabbit, it brought tears to my eyes. When my daughter was young, we watched the movie together and I also bought the story book for her. She passed away in 2015 at the age of 31 from cancer. I like the meaning behind the story.

Many years ago when i was pregnant with my first child , i was sitting relaxing in my garden . The cat next door came up to me and looked at my pregnant belly and looked deep in my eyes . To this day it seemed a meeting of souls . I can never forget that day .

Yes, each animal does have a story to tell! I'm 61 and yesterday as the wind blew and it rained, 4 squirrels were outside my window beneath our 3 Missouri pecan trees, digging up and munching pecans that I had witnessed them skillfully bury earlier in the Fall. Totally fascinating that they remembered where each pecan was buried! They were completely unmoved by the fury of the weather. I so enjoyed watching them! Hope-full in Hope, Indiana - Melissa V

I live on the edge of conservation land and daily enjoy a wide range of God's beautiful spirits roaming freely through the forest and into my garden and then to the pond that I created for them to find a sip of water during the heat of the summer. They bring me such a depth of peace just like your videos. Like I send them, I am also sending you ripples of energy full of my deep gratitude.
I love how you caress, investigate, and internalize the textures, temperatures, weight, and even fragrance of an object with such intention and wonder. You pause to acknowledge the presence and properties of the fallen snow, the irregularly frozen lake surface, the rough surface of the fence post and the softness of the rabbit. In so doing you permit me to momentarily leave my self imposed boundaries. To me they are for safety, not a prison. But I do love your videos. They make my world complete.

Your video reminded me that I fell in love with literature because of the Velveteen rabbit; it was the first book I ever cried for. It's also why I've kept my childhood stuffed animal after all these years, even after her eyes fell off and fur got discolored. She's a wise old soul.

I have a very fluffy dog named Miles he's just the sweetest thing. Sometimes I'll play my banjo on the porch while he sits at my feet. It's such a small thing but I love it so much.

I just lost my beloved fur baby. He was a black Labrador and was 14 years old when he passed away. My heart aches for him. I miss him so much. My other little dog absolutely loved him and is mourning for him because he has stopped eating and .i can see a happiness has been lost. I guess it will take time to mourn. I have been through so much with him. He was always so happy no matter what and would always love to meet new people and other doggies. He will always be in my heart. I’m so sorry for your loss Emma, 💙 I’ve had to say goodby too many times to my pets over the years and can totally relate to your aching heart. I feel for your other dog too! One of my cats, Nikki, missed her mate JoJo so much that she would bring his cat toys to the spot where he used to lay, then lay on top of the toy and meow like a cry I’ve never heard a cat make before. It broke my heart further! It takes time to process. 🧚🏻♂️Sending you and your other pooch love and healing prayers.🙏🏻
I’m so sorry to hear that, it can be really hard to lose someone you love. I feel for your other dog, he must be very sad knowing they are gone. It must be so hard for him. Im scared to know I will have to go through something like that with my dogs Cucumber and Kass. I’m even teared up a little while writing this.

Thank you for another peaceful and inspiring video. The rabbit you created looks so adorable and very real. I love the story and the metaphor. It’s what gives me hope when I’m sick and in pain. My cat Maia literally kept me alive and gave my life meaning again. Looking after her is a gift I’m grateful for every day. I feel a connection with the foxes where I live. I miss the wild animals of my childhood land and I still hear the wolves howling at night in my memories. Love and hugs. 💓

Who is Iger and Mr. Darcy? Selfishly, I want to know more about her story. She lives a sort of magical life. It gives me hope. Maybe we grow from lives lived in pain, disappointment and struggle into a life of joy, peace and quiet creativity. That thought gives me a flicker of hope. A glimmer of light in my dark, sad world.

omg! I once sat in a little pond in my neighborhood in the middle of the day. I usually just take a few loops around on my walks, but once I decided to sit. sooo many cute creatures were there that I hadn’t seen there before! 5 turtles on a log, a big majestic bird, and smaller majestic bird and geese! two of the turtles made their way to me and swam in little circles. it was magical!

First, I just found your videos and absolutely LOVE them! This quote above hit deep inside of me. I had thought of this (not so eloquently) recently, with wanting to add chickens to our mini homestead. I've struggled with trying to figure out what is missing and what I'm feeling and felt that I needed to add something to "take care of " and focus on (aside from my fur babies)

Me encanto ❤️ I loved it. I have a dog named Mateo. He is the sweetest little guy. I guess I would say dogs are my favorite animals!
I grew up thinking I couldn't write well, so I never wrote. Then I got my greyhound Penny. A rescue coming to me in a very cold January, she was reluctant to pee outside. I began e-mailing my greyhound friends asking for advice on what to do. One of them, a HS English teacher, e-mailed me back asking if I wrote in my work because I was really funny. I had no idea. Turned out, others thought so too. And after some excritorial self examination, I had to agree.
So I've been writing - both funny & serious, nonstop ever since. An artistic & personal expression that, I think, represents some of the best of who I am - all thanks to my beautiful little girl Penny.
Without her and her pee on the floor, I never would have thought to start.
She never ceases to amaze and calm me. Have one of her art prints framed and sitting on my nightstand.

Beautiful. Thank you for sharing. While I live in NYC, I live on a neighborhood called INWOOD, which is aptly named with 3 beautiful parks, 1 of which is the only natural wooded forest in the city. I go for daily walks/adventures with my dog and routinely talk to the trees, squirrels and birds that cross my path. Nature is a blessing to us and is a path to connect to the divinity and oneness of all.

Simply beautiful Paola. I had a sweet cat, Bosworth. I bought him at 6 weeks old, it felt like i rescued him from prying and poking hands at a dreary pet shop in college. He was the main man in my young adult life for years, and a loving companion. I wanted the privilege of caring for another living being. He was a colorful personality, and im sure regarded me as the pet....lol. We loved each other for 16 years, he lefts paw prints on my heart. I miss him dearly, and still talk to him as I scratch his head every night on a photo on my nightstand. Thank you for yet another meaningful video, your rabbit was beautifully crafted. What you said about taking care of animals in moments of melancholy really rang true with me. I have three little mice, Tsuki, Kumo and Hoshi. Taking care of them this year has really helped me, they are such smart little creatures, fascinated by simple things like potted plant or a new puzzle toy.
I live in a seaside town, we have foxes here, and sometimes we see badgers too. And course there are lots of cheeky seagulls.
Sadly I don't have a pet right now but I'm planning on adopting a puppy because there are lots of homeless doggies in my country:(
