One of my favourite months has arrived.The season of changing leaves, crisp mornings, chilly evenings, hot drinks, books and sweaters.
I’m so excited to welcome autumn. 🍁
In today’s video, I’ll be decorating for autumn arrival, baking cookies, exploring the woods, illustrating my recipe book, picking flowers for tea, painting, visiting a farm and enjoying the rainy days.

As I anxiously await my favorite season, Autumn in this 93° heat in upstate New York I’m loving your video❤. I can’t wait for cool, crisp days, cozy quilts and candles, pumpkins, gourds, baking and crafting. I love the coziness, warmth and relaxation that comes with my two favorite seasons, Autumn and winter🤎🍁🤎. I also love squirrels and your cookies look so good. I realize that I am different from others and much prefer rainy days, splashing barefoot in puddles rather than heat, humidity and sunshine.

I live in a tropical country, so I don't get to enjoy autumn. But I like the vibes it's giving; the cold weather, the activities, and especially, the colors. Lately, the temperature here also drops and turns colder. The sky turns grey and cloudy. The rainy season is about to come, and I'm celebrating its arrival the way you celebrate autumn. I'm excited to enjoy the colder season with warmer heart.

Angelika, I LOVE your cookbook and painting. You're very talented and i think you could print your recipes and paintings and sell them. I used to paint the cookies I baked with my children also. They had so much fun doing it. It's supposed to be warming up here but it's still rainingand very cold so it feels very much like winter will stick around a little longer. It is hard for me to find the time to do wonderful calming autumn activitys since we have children - I am working on that. Our second baby arrived six weeks ago on October 1st, I love all the warm colours of autumn for him. ❤

I've always loved the idea of making an illustrated recipe book. My only problem was that I collect recipes way too fast since I cook from scratch as often as I can and love trying out new things. That's why I started just writing my favourites down on a notebook with graph paper in it. They're not particularly pretty but they work. However, seeing you make such a beautiful recipe book and taking your time with it hoping to one day fill it has inspired me. I will keep my "just write the recipe inside quickly" book and once I made a recipe often enough I'll add it to another notebook and beautifully illustrate it. Hopefully I'll be able to actually do this and have all my family's favourite recipes in a notebook as beautiful as yours❤❤

You have wonderful taste ( from the cozy decorating you do for autumn to your delightful paintings in your cookbook and more) and your sweet little boy tickles me. My children have been adults for many years, but sharing this time with you and your nice family made me smile with remembrance of the fall “ leaf hunts” my son and daughter and I would go on this time of year. Thank you for sharing a bit of your world.
As a person living in a country where we only experience two climates (tropical or maritime), it's so good to experience other kinds of seasons even through a vlog. Thanks for sharing this. Someday I want to experience four seasons too! I especially love autumn🍂🍁

My favorite season is Spring but I always loved Fall- it's my birthday season, it has the warmest weather ( not cold, leaving the heat behind) and the color palette.
