IDK why, but I find it so amazing and funny when mod makers no longer need to update their mod because that feature was implemented in the game. You'll always be in my heart Wall Light and Insisible conduits mod
I hope Rimworld pulled a Valve and payed them for the idea

Wall lights mod was updated to 1.5. You can change light radius of vanilla lamps, and there still is wall sun lamp. o7

Love how some people are complaining its already in the game as a mod, along with some other things like the subsurface conduit, I bet these same people are the ones that complain that these should be in the base game anyway, and when they are, not good enough.

I was always mostly vanilla player with a very small exceptions like RimHUD and other quality of life mods, so I'm so happy that the developers also work with and take inspiration from modders. Wall lights are for sure my favourite addition to the base game that were previously not there
I like how they added books so we would stop just sticking kids in the growth vats and stealing their childhoods.
time to clean up the mod list i suppose now that there's new DLC....

It looked like there are some useful improvements. Better performance will be nice too. I recently built a new high end PC, so it isn't as much of a problem as it was on the old one, but it might still be helpful if I build a massive colony. I'm a little uncertain about the DLC. The previous ones have added a lot of content not related to fighting, but this one looks to be strongly focused on fighting. I like to build sprawling colonies in a peaceful game, and deal with environmental challenges rather than raids. Once the DLC comes out, I suppose I'll have to see what it does for a peaceful game.
8:50 you got to test removing legs and seeing if they can crawl then. That way you can have mobile hemogen banks or etc.
i would love it if a pawn with their arms/legs blown off dident become compeley useless
Maybe a bit extreme but if you leave their arms attached you can set a bed next to a crafting bench and have someone just deliver them materials for constant crafting no?
@@TH3_N There is this mod called ``Compensate For Lost Limbs''. Lost limbs will have some use after time, with little efficiency ofcourse.

No. It's a standalone word, but it is very often used with the exclamation mark
Honestly im not even German but i ALSO die inside. Admittedly it's pretty hard to be a dane and not be able to pronounce German

only a few mods out of my 1500 mods have been updated to 1.5 haha. No mods for a few months

How does the new version and optimisations feel?
I've had about like 60 before but they were spread out in 5 different colonies. About half were in my main colony. But having dif colonies may have helped reduce the load
Time has always run faster if you sleep.
As long as all colonist pawns are asleep the actual time mod is 2x of whatever speed setting you have.
So basically this 1.5 update wil improve performance?

Phoebe Chillax in 500% is like a slightly worse than usual Losing is Fun Cassandra more or less. Except the complacency she builds will kill you eventually.
Many would argue Randy is the easiest story teller. Cassandra is predictable but she actually tries to kill you. The same could be said about Phoebe but I haven't played many games with her. There's nothing in the code that forces Randy to send raids, it's all about luck, which many people find easier to play against
To quote Adam vs Everything:
Randy kills you by accident.
Cassandra kills you intentionally.
Phoebe kills you through boredom.
In my case I'd say complacency rather than boredom, but it still stands. Phoebe is... well, her name's chillax for a reason.
20-30 colonists without Mods isn't going to cause any performance problems. I usually see my TPS tank at 50+ with 400 Mods.

hey guys I have a question, I played rimworld with mod and normally it work perfectly but I don't know why, but when I start the game it have the debug log oen and thousand os messages of error. can someone help me ? (sorry for my bad english)
might have something to do with in what order the mods are, make sure you check that certain mods are at the top. I havent played in a while though. But i hope its a start for a fix.
@@ManoloRibera070 idk because it start when the mode liste stille work but one day i dont know why the game crash . And when I restart the game the mode are disabeld and in the consol it show me like 1000 error

As in how he is playing 1.5? 1.5 is available on the unstable branch (you gotta go into the game settings on steam for that). As far as I know no DLC content (new monsters, events, etc.) are part of the branch.
