Really fascinating choices! A couple of these are actually some of my favorites :D I noticed that you seem to dislike a lot of 2000’s inspired or super girly ones (at least in this list) which I find interesting as someone who lives for those aesthetic duo nostalgia! Loved the video tho 🥰💞

i feel like the tweens were pretty consistently like goodish, at least you can tell that theyre for someone, the swappable heads dont count those were mid as hell

I agree with you on all your choices. I really really wanted to like Nia and there are certain parts I like but the whole look is a no (plus her edges were always messy anytime I saw her in person)
Totally agree about Olivia flutter. I think I might like her if she was an OMG doll instead of a tween because it’s a more mature style to me. Also way too orange lol.
If she wasn't so tan and didn't have such light lips, I would like her more. I tend to like the simple ones. Winnie is one of my favorites because of this. I just don't display her with the crown and stash. She looks adorable by my MLP Posey since they have the same color scheme.
Oh I am devastated that Cora is number one (joke)! As a child of the 80's I thought she had the most cohesive design and it reminds me of Cyndi Lauper. I do agree with the Olivia Flutter in terms of the too tan look but she also captures the early 2000's, kind of reminds me of Mariah Carey in her Butterfly album period. As for the one with the tiara in her hand I just thought she was lazy in design, they basically reused elements of the Tween Masquerade doll of the Queen of Hearts which is fave of mine from that series. I am bummed overall that the line as we knew it has ended.

I have a friend who recently bought the Marilyn Star Tween and her hair quality was atrocious. I bought the Winnie because I was drawn to her pink lemonade colors, but her hair was so badly rooted that she's got bald spots, and that was for thirty bucks. I never forgave her.

😂🤣😁😇 I think someone has a subconscious dislike for pink; especially pastel pink 😁. No I know you said you didn’t. I actually like all of them except for three of them. I really only like pastel colors and black/purple. I don’t know why but I have quite a few sensory issues, one being certain colors. It’s fun seeing how different we all are in what we like. Even though I like most of them, I don’t own any and am not sure if I ever will. I have a budget and have to really think about which dolls I want most before I purchase one. What did you think about the Fierce dolls? I don’t have any but wanted the two which never got produced. I think they would have been the best dolls in the line. MGA really confuses me with their decisions. Have a great evening sweetie 💗🌸

I liked the top six dolls from your top 10 best tweens list, but now I'll have to fight you bc of Cora and Nia I'm sorry it's war (ง'̀-'́)ง (/j) also I agree that the head swap line begun tweens' descent into mid-ness. Now I just need to get Nia (I actually didn't like her at first, but then I saw her irl and she's super pretty) and personally I'll be done with them 😕 Have you heard about new tweens mermaids that should be released soon?
I have! I’m torn cause I don’t love the lack of articulation but I do think the designs are kinda cute haha
Billie is definitely not dressed like a tween, LOL isn't meant to be realistic, they're meant to be stylised but they're meant to look a little bit older than their age or their age. That looks like a 5 year old in their mom's clothes, I'm a tween myself (don't worry only a little bit until 13 and don't play with my dolls, I am a collector) and this is just too young even for a doll for little kids. Fashion dolls are mainly meant to make kids playing with them imagine a time when they will be fashionable and older, not the age they are already. Obviously dolls are for everyone I'm just talking the original purpose of what Barbie, etc was created for. Bild Lilli, what Barbie was based on was meant for older audiences but kids played with the Bild Lilli doll. So that's why I don't like Billie too. Hope I got the name right. You might not like Kora because the doll reminds you of Ghoulia from MH. A doll you hate. So similar looking and then too much colour
