some fans might leave early but that was a disgrace, that not a few fans worried about getting home on time, that was a half of the stadium emptying because they were getting beat rather than staying and letting your team know how much it means to them that you get back into it and at least try and get something out of the game
For me as an Arsenal fan I don’t know why they didn’t just stay. We know it was gonna be tough to overcome City at this point after recent games so just stay and support the team.
It’s not engrained in us-there are plenty of us who can hold our hands up and not make excuses. The problem is that people listen to a high profile figure like Keown and assume all Arsenal fans are like that. We aren’t.

As a fan of famers league team and just watching in from the outside, I have to say that last caller is full of it about the fan thing surely?? Watching the Arsenal - Soton game, it went to 1-3 and you could see 1000s of empty seats as people leave, then at 3-3 its utter crowded, they all came back
I'm with Martin on this, theres nothing wrong with being behind your team, the caller is right though the Arsenal squad isn't deep enough, look at City any one of their team goes off they can replace them with a player just a capable, if they can spend a bit of money and get a few great players they will be challenging again next season, again though it's hard to look beyond City again.
City have used less players this season than arsenal quality over quantity

Yeah and Akanji isn’t and never has been a full back. Pep is having to play him in a back 3, with stones playing as a floating CB/CDM. The reason City can do this flexibility is because of Guardiola’s coaching.
It’s not because City have managed to sign 11 players who can all play in multiple positions, it’s because of Pep.
