Ryan wasn't ready for Tank just yet , he had to fight Pitbull , Rolly , Barrios , then Tank. You can't skip a level 💯.. Now he has to give Pitbull his shot
No bro, Ryan is not in a position to give Pitbull a shot. It's the other way around. Ryan has to get in line now to fight Pitbull. Davis make him quit, Pitbull will put him to sleep 💯
@Gee Savv I agree with you . Pitbull vs Ryan would be an exiting fight though after all the trash talk tha has been going back and forward between them. Just like Pitbull said recently, if he's a class C fighter. Ryan you are a Z class fighter . That shit was funny 😁
He should of used his distance better, 1 and 2s… getting in and moving back out. And looking for that uppercut shot when tank moves in low. Tank was using his short height as an advantage, to the body.
Eddie doesn't have the true time for Ryan. He let him make the same mistakes Joe did. Ryan's a grown man and set in his ways. He needs somebody FRESH, that's going to actually get in his ear and push him to do things that make him uncomfortable. Ryan can say his camps are "crazy" all he wants but I know he's doing the same tricks he's gotten away with for 4 yrs. He needs a switchup and needs it NOW.
@Zigphy I don't believe that. If ryan was more disciplined the fight would've gone a completely different way. I don't know if Ryan would've got the KO, but it definitely would've gone longer than it did and not had the same counter hit twice in two different spots. That was immaturity on Ryan's part and a lack of understanding that in his camp. Edit: to add to it, if ryan and camp acknowledged the only counter yo Ryan's hook (ducking or rolling with it,) the upper cut would've landed. It was there 7 or 8 times. But what did Ryan do? Not read the defense and kept throwing the hook and a downward right hand. Both shots that are already over tanks head level.

@@ec5321 GGG and Jacobs were both elite level fighters. Both of whom had styles that should have given Canelo big problems. Canelo winning both, even if controversial, was huge. None of the champions at 168 were elite except for maybe Saunders (a fight that would’ve been close if Canelo didn’t break his face). The two best performances of Canelo’s career were undeniably between the GGG rematch and Danny Jacobs. Hell, at 168 I give more credit to Canelo for beating Ryder tbh. Ryder went 50/50 with Saunders, he beat Smith, and he’d more than likely beat Plant too. Only reason Canelo made a mess of him is because his style was all wrong for Canelo.
I wouldn’t take him back, Ryan might just be a fighter that isn’t able to retain or develop to the level except or expected him to be. No head movement, basic fundamentals and doesn’t throw more than 3 -4 punches with gifted hand speed ,mediocre footwork, weak inside fighting skill on the inside, questionable heart. Honestly has more cons than pros. In all honest gave lack luster performance and don’t see him holding a world title for another 3year that this rate.
This guy isnt a great coach!! All his fighter have taken Ls all last year, he only focuses on Canelo and even he looks so slow now because of making 175

All of this attention for a B-Level fighter. Ryan had no business being in the same ring with Tank. He talked(and social media'd) his way into the fight, and somehow get a lot of people thinking he was at the same level as the top guys in the division. It was painfully obvious, he isn't. I don't care who trains Garcia, he's just a limited fighter. He has some fast hands, and good length, but he doesn't use his height and reach. He's slow footed, depends too much on one punch, moves in straight lines, doesn't move his head, and he seems uncoachable. He loses to every top fighter he faces from 135-140.
Really doesn't matter what Ryan does now, what weight class or what trainer things will never be the same with now not having a undefeated record, I should have been the one to get Ryan ready for the fight with tank, he didn't have the right trainers or promotion period, Ryan could have won but not the way this whole ordeal started with him and Tank, so really there is nothing more to prove for Ryan, you can keep boxing but this particular loss puts Ryan really out of all the attention boxers get.
