Before his return to power/rebirth and full bodily form, Lord Voldemort sustained life in the form of a rudimentary body. This body was feeble and required constant tending to.

What if Voldemort stayed in his little body and had to ride Nagini into battle.
WACHANYSHT 😂😂
LMFAOOO! 😆
Bahahahahaha
Onwards, Nagini! *Neville kills Nagini
Oh shit
100th like from me
Just saw Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and Grindlewald was FAR more powerful than we believed, even without the Elder Wand, as he was able to take on dozens of Aurors single-handed.
yeah i think grindlewald will turn out to be almost as powerful as voldemort and will see that in the new movies
outoflight Voldemort was certainly more evil, ruthless, and pointlessly cruel.
Grindlewald seemed more pragmatic and goal-oriented.
That may be the difference between the two, Grindelwald isn't fundamentally evil, he believes his actions are good for the wizarding world and that makes him as powerful, if not more than voldemort.
yeah , grindelwald wants for magic users to come out of shadows and take their rightful place , he wants to subjugate humans by force ,but he doesnt want bloodshed because of bloodshed , he believes that its a necessary amount of evil to accomplish something good , in short grindelwald is a utilitarian(he uses similar motto to the utilitarian motto ) , while voldy has only pureblood agenda and the fear of the death that moves him , nothing else not love (as he cant feel it ) ,only hate and fear ,
its like grindelwald has a rediminalbe side to him , while voldemort is the big bad , the evil with the capital letters
I wouldn't far more powerful, just more ambitious seeing as he spread his deeds to other continents other than Europe when Voldy couldn't even hold Britain after he near conquered it twice I might add.
I love it in the order of the Phoenix movie when Voldemort says "and I shall be gone and you shall be dead" and dumbledore just looks at him like what?
If anyone is interested in a CZcams Q&A Livestream tomorrow give this a thumbs up :) Also due to this being the most split decision between who would win at full power i'm going to make a VS video on Dumbledore vs Voldemort
can you upload it to CZcams
What time
Hmmnnn.... Voldemort or albus... well its tricky cuz we never seen dumbledores powers without the elder wand. So my vote goes to "voldesnort"
I'd like ter do it. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
+Aga W dumbledor had defeated Grindelwald with his original wand and acquired the elder wand so yes he is powerful
That's why all of the unicorns are gone....
Having seen Grindelwald in action in Fantastic Beasts taking on an entire group of Aurors and winning, do you still think Voldemort is that much more powerful than he is?
George Sartiano he lost though...
the hero got him in the back with a plant thing
and voldemort would have one shot the aurors at once
scott grasser it was the swooping evil, a beast, not a plant.
George Sartiano he did make this video before fantastic beasts though
yes but grindelwald is not a mad viscious killer and did not want to kill them. voldemort could have never dealt with so many aurors at once (without the insta-kill, no-block i-point-at-you-and-you-die spell). he was so proficient with the killing curse he was dependant on it.
/approaches/
Aw, what a cute baby!
/sees Voldemort’s face/
*KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!!*
Why do you think Grindelwald was no match for Voldemort? Dumbledore was far better than Voldy, but just a bit better than Grindelwald.
Marian Palko well because dumbledore defeated Grindelwald while Grindelwald had the elderwand and was defeated, and voldemort with dumbledore having the elderwand was a good duel but voldemort wasn't defeated but escaped
You can't really compare the 3 minute duel of Voldemort and Dumbledore with the 4 hour duel of Dumbledore Vs. Grindelwald. When Voldemort ran off it was only because more wizards were showing up, which could show he was stronger than Dumbledore. On the other hand Dumbledore was fighting while protecting Harry and still held Voldemort to at least stalemate, possibly gaining the upper hand, which is why he ran and hid for a bit and used oclemancy on Harry as a distraction, before the other Wizards had shown up.
Nathan L Doesn’t matter. Dumbledore beat GG. He never beat Voldy and even admitted he was inferior to Voldemort in some aspects. Also pottermore cleared this up already and stated that Voldemort is the strongest dark wizard. This debate is dead.
Lel Uchiha This.
What Dumbledore, Voldermort and Grindelwald did and didn't do, and who defeated who is academic. JK herself said Voldermort was the most powerful Dark Wizzard ever; so case closed. No debate necessary.
Nathan L dumbledore also had the elder wand
Voldy didn't even know DumbleD was the master of the Elder wand until Harry's 7th year, and yet he was afraid of DumbleD well before that, simply coz he was not as skilled of a wizard as his former headmaster. Elder wand is irrelevant.
Wrong, the reason why Voldemort feared Dumbledore was because he was the only who saw right through him in his school times which made him doubt himself.
Grindelwald was believed to be more powerful, but with more of a conscience
Victor Perry he just wanted all magical people to has more freedom and rule
Grindelwald fans believe it but they are delusional and have never read the books.
Grindelwald was more powerful than Voldemort. Dumbledore defeated Grindelwald in a duel that lasted for hours in his prime. Dumbledore damn near defeated Voldemort in the ministry of magic while restraining Harry and Beatrix at a much older age in 5 minutes. Voldemort wasn't able to penetrate Grindelwald's mind in Nurmengard when he was at his weakest. Voldemort never knew about Hallows whereas Grindelwald sought to find those in his youth. The only thing Voldemort has over Grindelwald is the Horcruxes. The ability to create horcruxes is arguably not powerful. Just because you are willing to kill doesn't make you powerful. In sure Grindelwald has killed just as many people. It just means you are willing to go to the extreme not powerful.
Also realize voldemort left because he was still operating in the shadows and didn't want to be surrounded by hundreds of wizards if he had indeed stayed to fight Dumbledore for hours
I would argue that Grindelwald isn't Ron Weasley with a broken wand compared to Voldemort but I do believe that Voldemort is more powerful. Although the battle between Grindelwald and Dumbledore was immensely long, this was Dumbledore without the elder wand and he wasn't at his full power.
But Dubledore had the Elderwond when he met Voldemort so have Grindelwald when he met Dubledore. So the odds was different.
Voldemort is more powerful than Grindelwald. Remember in the Half-Blood where Dumbledore called Voldemort the most dangerous Dark Wizard of all time?
That doesnt necessarily conclude its because of skill alone, that could be because of his near immortality at the time compared to Grindewalf who only needed to be defeated in a single glorious duel
This channel is the best!! Thank you for everything.
Best harry potter channel
Thank you :)
Aaroh Gokhale agreed
yeah, totally.
I love your vids. Really fascinating facts! Keep up man :)
Thanks :)
But how did the rudimentary body come into existence?
There's no answer for that question, just theories
I think and again theory he had specific instructions for Wormtail. Transfigure a object into a living thing possess the new body transfigure again after the ingestion of the potion.
That is literally the only way I can see it. Of course over the entire Genre that is fantasy, few paths to immortality are remotely desirable.
Thank you
Actually, theory is that it was the possessed body of an unborn baby.... Bertha Jenkins baby.
Wasnt it a mixture of unicorn blood and milk from Nagini?
dude i love your channel..you know and show us a lot of things..
Awesome video! Keep it up!
I think dumbledore because without his elder wand he still has skills
yeah
It is said that Dumbledore was similarly skilled to Grindelwald, and that Voldemort was far more skilled than Grindelwald. That would suggest that Voldemort is far more skilled than Grindelwald... Although in fairness, Dumbledore did beat Grindelwald when Grindelwald had the Ender Wand...
Voldemort is far more skilled because he was so inclined to dark magic than Grindelwald even to the point of experimented the darkest magic which is the horcruxes, and Grindelwald's reign of terror was long ago, as time goes by, many discoveries and more powerful spells are discovered and invented by the wizards and witches which make Voldemort more skilled for the reason that his time reign was much more later than Grindelwald. But if both of them lived in the same era then it would be more just to know if who is really more skillful than the other.
don't forget the fact that Voldemort was afraid of Dumbledore, so afraid he sent a child to do it to punish his parents, Voldemort didn't even beat him that way, it was more assisted suicide
wonderfull...love all ur videos
...keep up da good work
Thank you :)
Harry Potter folklore, you were the one who said that Grindelwald would beat Voldemort in your Voldemort versus grindelwald video
Thanks for another amazing video :)
Nice vid as usual almost 10k :)
thanks liam :)
man i love your vids you are the best !!!!!!
Thank you :)
Now we do know for a fact about the ingredients of this Dark potion. But, what we still do not know is how it works. I once read a theory that in order to have a rudimentary body, one must first possess a human body. It is so that the theory states that Wormtail was ordered to get Bertha Jorkins pregnant and that fetus would be later used as the catalyst of the potion.
I think it's a little bit threshed, but nonetheless a very interesting theory indeed.
That's a cool theory! I agree that he must have some physical form before taking the potion. After all, you can't use a potion if you have no physical form
+mark Tanner well, is it so? Think about Nearly-Headless Nick. He was one of the petrified victims during CoS. How was he turned back to normal without a physical form?
That's what intrigues me, and generates more questions than answers
Juan Martín Prodanov That's a very good point! But I didn't think Voldemort was even ghost like. I got the impression that he didn't even have a visual form, but was more a barely existent spirit that could, at best, communicate through legitimacy
I always wondered was Salazar Slytherin regarded as a great dark wizard? he doesn't get too much back story in the books
5 facts about Fred and George Weasley! Please!
U need like million subs bro fo ur gr8 vids
I sometimes honestly admired Voldemort's ambitious streak to gain power & mortality but the fact that he died ad the age of 70 (with horcruxes) while Dumbledore lived for 115 (without the help of Horcruxes).
Like Tom could've lived to 200 years if he just stay healthy or didn't ruined his soul that many time seriously.. sometimes ambition can lead to stupidity if one just focuses on one thing smh.. just my thoughts 😋
fawkes was dumbledors horcrux imo
Voldemort knew he didn't have to worry about the protective shield anymore because the ritual he had performed to regain his body used "the blood of the enemy" and had given him a pass.
During the first book Queral was disintegrated by just touching Harry while being host to Voldemort because of the residual effects of Lily's sacrifice. After the ritual to get his body back Voldemort was able to touch Harry, and therefore also kill him.
Harry was lucky to survive his encounter with Voldemort in the woods. It was probably a combination of factors that kept him alive including First, Harry being the rightful master of the Elder Wand, Second, Harry being a Horcrux which allowed another entity or soul to take the brunt of the killing curse, and Third, and probably most importantly, the curse not being sustained because of the stunning effect that killing his own Horcrux had on Voldemort.
But didn't Dumbledore and Nicholas Flamel both use the Philosopher's stone , until Harry destroyed it ? Didn't the Philosopher's stone help Dumbledore live some extra decades?
if he made a horcrux and didnt bother everyone he would live for much longer , i would said forever but even the sun wont exist forever.
The ownership of the Elder wand wasn't Voldemort's fault since he didn't know Draco had disarmed Dumbeldore. And still Voldemort would have lived for way longer that Dumbeldore if the horcruxes hadn't been found and destroyed.
You are awesome mate. Keep up the good work! ;)
Thank you very much :)
Harry Potter Folklore No problem whatsoever.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH these videos make my day!😃
Thank you very much :)
After being in azkaban how do u get your wand back
"Fortunately, I keep my soul fragments numbered for just such an emergency."
i am a huge harry potter fan and i love this channel i love harry potter so much its the best p.s what about the giveaway lyl xx
You are one of the best youtubers ever!!! Also I know that Albus Dumbledore would win! 🤓
Thank you :)
When voldys spell backfired does that mean that part of his soul os gone and he has to take another part of it from a horcrux or do the horcruxes keep that part of the soul
Voldemort lived 72 years, usual wizards lifetime 100-ish years,so Voldemort would live longer ih he didn’t search to live forever...
Btw.Dumbledore would win
Grindelwald nearly won against DumbleD, while Voldemort never really had the chance to do, of course, in order of the phoenix, but at almost every moment, voldemort would have no chance, if harry weren't there, dumbledore had won.
Grindelwald had the Elder Wand against Dumbledore, while Dumbledore himself had it when him & Voldy were neck-in-neck, & Voldy ran before others showed up; he wasn't defeated.
Grindelwald had no chance against Dumbledore and Dumbledore could not defeat Voldemort while he had the elder wand. Facts.
Where did u get the grindelwald image from?!
Is this guy the Harry Potter version of Stupendous Wave or something?
Funnily enough, minimort actually seems to resemble the stage of developement of a pre-born before it had the chance to pack on a layer of fat; if you are actually masochistic enough to look that up, it basically looks like a skull with skin streached over it; deeply sunken in cheaks and everything. It actually makes me think that if he has taken the time to develope that body inside of a womb it would have been perfectly healthy; even had thoughts about the use of a unicorn as a surrogate in order to get the blood into the body; maybe turn it into potion in the placenta?
Also, he probably got a lot of blood out of the body of a unicorn, and only needed to drunk a little of the potion at a time, so he was probably fine with, like, only one or two every one or two months.
I love this Chanel
Hello! Great video as always. I can't believe you almost reached 10.000 followers!
Quick question: Were the winners from the Giveaway already announced?
Yes the book winner was announced :)
+Harry Potter Folklore Okay thank you. I'll look forward to the other giveaways :)
Hello my name is Mohammad Anwar and I have a question . Is severus snape stronger than Lord voldemort
wow! this explains everything thank you!
You're Welcome :)
I love your videos, but they are so short
His old body was recreated by a few spells Voldemort created and sustained by the potion made of unicorn blood and nanginis venom and made a bit stronger when nangini was a horcrux and was returned more powerful then ever with the unknown potion mixed with him and the 3 sacred pieces
I like ur videos a lot!!!!!!😃😃😃
Thanks :)
Ur welcome!!!!!
His soul fragment resembles the rudimentary body greatly. I guess its state depends on how many times a Dark Wizard splits their soul
The one thing that I'm confused about horcuxes is - does creating a horcrux stop your body from ageing? Or does that body keep ageing then die then the other part of the soul will have a body then will age and die, if so then that doesn't make him immortal, just extends his life some what
It's the same thing that was at 'Kings Cross' where Harry died. Makes me wonder, if Harry boarded that 'train', would that have meant that it was *his* soul that was moving on from life, and a Voldemort soul would then control Harry?
His 'body' is the thing he's had since his curse backfired on Harry, but a Horcrux was made that day too. It could imply that that's the state a broken soul is left in. If you were to peek into the soul portions, they'd all resemble mangled Voldemort babies that could latch on to Life Force that they can claim
I believe Dumbledore told Harry that Voldemort would have remained dead with him if Harry if he hadn't returned to life. However, there was still the matter of the horocrux in Nagini at the time, as well as the fact that Harry chose life for the sake of those who loved him. I'm thinking (my own theory, not canon) he also wanted to end the war by defeating Voldemort once and for all in front of all of his followers and enemies. This made certain that his followers couldn't continue his cause, claiming that he was still alive and running things behind the scenes.
What happened to voldemorts wand after his killing curse faild on Harry?? It doesn't really say in the books how he got his wand back?
u talked a little about horcruxes and i was wondering why he didn't just wear the ring i feel like having two pieces of his horcruxes in his possession would make him more secure idk kinda hard destroying a ring while hes wearing it. also they established that well a living thing can be a horcrux thus nagini does that mean its possible to have a human horcrux and if so why didnt he try that and dont say its dangerous i mean he was experimenting with the other 6 thats pretty much why he did it and a full powerful wizard as a horcrux would be pretty hard to defeat (just saying)
i love your videos, they are my first source of potter folklore also i thunk dumbledore woukd win in a duel
The only issue is Pythons do not have venom, Rowling overlooked this... it should have been Nagini's shedded skin or something
Voldemort...one of the most best sorcerers in the world who can conjure an magic arm for his servant Peter Pettigrew but can't conjure himself a nose.
Cuz he didnt care for one
You make really good videos.. but please make sure that you speak slowly and more clearly in your videos.. I have to hear it multiple times to get a good hold of what you say
Grindlewald completely annihilated a dozen aurors in one blast at the beginning of FBAWTFT. He was at least on par with Voldy
Voldemort would just murder them all with the killing curse. Grindelwald is weak. I'm disappointed about his performances...
Does anyone know what Voldemort see when he was knocked out in The Deathly Hallows? Please share.
Yes but... how, as a spirit, did V drink anything to begin with? How did he get any physical form?
Grindelwald was as good as Dumbledore in his prime so doesn't that mean Grindelwald is a match for Voldemort?
@@tommynguyen9238 well the Magic of Love is one of the most powerful magic. Voldemort did not even know of it, when Grindelwald can either play with it
@@ultimatebeyonce8010 Dumbledore spent decades trying to defeat Voldemort and he died trying. While he had eadily defeated Grindelwald and nailed him to the jail floor
Dumbledore is more powerful in his duel against Voldemort than he was against Grindelwald, so the answer is no.
At the first bit it looked like a "little baby volldy(voldemort)"
I like to think that as Sirius walked in on James lily and voldermorts body he was soon angry he kicked voldermorts nose off
Dumbledore would be at a disadvantage even at full power. He'd be too preoccupied thinking of minimizing destruction, the preservation of spectators lives, and nursing Voldemorts big thick Elder Wand.
What went wrong when he did get his body back? We see Tom Riddle in Book 2, but Voldemort doesn't have any hair (or a nose) and his skin is pale?
Created the horcruxes made him look less human, they affected his new physical form as well as his soul
Dean I think the question is asked is very tricky. There are chances that it may be a tie. But voldy feared albus so I think there is a slightly more chance of dumbledore winning as he even taught him and a teacher never teaches everything he or she knows. Albus might be knowing such spells that voldy never dreamt of.
well, dumbledore was the greatest wizard. Those powers were powers of dark magic and defending against them would be like a piece of cake for him!
That's really interesting. I don't know who would win.
Aww... Baby Voldy!!
In the sixth movie, young flashback Tom asks slughorn if it's possible to make seven horcruxes, but I don't get that to cause he only planned to make six, where as harry was a mistake. thoughts?
Greatness inspires envy, envy engenders spite, spite spawns lies
~ Tom Riddle
Vold wasn't more powerful than Grindel, the difference is that Vold was so much evil. Grindel wanted to share the deathly hallows with Albus... (Vold sharing power... never), remember Vold never could read Grindel's mind.
Quetzalcoatl Topiltzin He was more powerful.
This has been settled. Voldemort is explicitly stated to be the most powerful dark wizard ever, period, end of story. Dumbledore defeated Grindelwald while Grindelwald had the Elder Wand, but didn't defeat Voldy when he, himself had the Elder Wand. I get that there are contradicting statements in some places, but these facts support Voldemort over Grindelwald.
Charlie Van Kampen Thank you for speaking the truth.
wow you totally underestimated grindelwald! wow.
Voldemort says to the Death Eaters when he returns to full power that Peter helped him build the rudimentary body. His body then was something similar to a homunculus that he could inhabit until he could return to full power.
plz do a 5 interesting facts about rose granger plz
I would say Dumbledore would win in my opinion. Grindelwald was a very powerful wizard who was also master of the elder wand at the time they had their duel. Dumbledore still came out on top. Also if you look at the accolades he was given during his time at school, Dumbledore performed Magic that his instructors had never seen, and he also has a working knowledge of the dark arts so isn't like voldemort could pull many surprises on Albus.
Voldemort was afraid of Dumbledore as of Order of the Phoenix. This is a time where Dumbledore's power has subsided a tad. Imagine what would happen once Tom saw Dumbledore at his apex. Then if you look at their battle even closer, Dumbledore was trying to protect Harry, as well as himself and he wasn't actually trying to kill Voldemort while Voldemort was trying to kill.
At the end of the day I believe Dumbledore holds the title most powerful.
Could you make a top five on belletrix
Dumbledore said that Tom Riddle lost his handsomness as he split his soul so many times. (And apparently he lost his nose too.) :)
Dumbledore would win as he is more powerful than Voldemort in so many different forms of magic that Voldemort. Voldemort remains ignorant of many powers that he made impossible to achieve after murder. Let me know what you guys think
Voldemort had knowledge in any area of magic as he got top in any exam he took and he pushed the boundaries of magic no one ever did before, so you speak horseshit.
I've always wondered about that
now you know :)
+Harry Potter Folklore how did he get to be a baby?
can you do a what if voldemort rose to power in the philosophers stone ?
I died laughing at 1:24, 2:32
Dumbledore. He could say everything he knew about the horcruxes. Voldemort would be frightened for a moment and Dumbledore would grab his moment and overwhelm him.
Now, when we are talking studying dark magic and creating horcruxes then yes, Voldemort is stronger then any wizard. But when talking purely duelling, without horcruxes, i think Dumbledore and even Grindelwald may be the stronger wizards...
How are dementors formed
Good video, but a little harsh on Grindelwald.
When Wormtail has to milk the great snake to feed Lord V's shell body and Lord V calls him out for being grossed out by the task is extremely gross to read.
You had another video where you said grindelwald is superior to voldemort in power, when did you 180 that opinion?
for some reason i cant look at voldemort for more more than 10 seconds without laughing
It's because the movies depicts him wrong...
Professor Albus Wulfric Percival Brian Dumbleodre of course!
Hi dean I'm a huge fan
Thanks Ted :) glad to have you as a subscriber :)
Harry Potter Folklore thanks
2:46 is it just me or does this figure look identically like the thing in Kings Cross in Deathly Hallows pt2 that Dumbledorlre had said himself was “beyond our help”
This is a theory but this could be the soul of Voldemort but because of Voldemorts terrible actions his soul has been severed and had then been “beyond anyone’s help”
Let me know if there is anything wrong with this
He looks so different in that body. How did people know who he was? Like when fudge came into the ministry and says he's back? How did he know it was lord V?
Voldemort was already rather deformed before his body's destruction if I recall correctly.
Well if its play fair probably Dumbledor, but knowing the dark lord is envolved he could have better chance(Voldemort)
but why wormtail?
Lol you should do a what-if video of Matilda going to hogwarts
What I want to know is how did voldemort take this potion if he was in a spectral state?
It has been speculated that he possessed a fetus.
how come after Voldemort tried killing baby Harry, that piece of his soul went into Harry, but his consiousness went into rats and snakes
i mean isnt that the purpose of the horcruxes, to be a starting point where he could resurrect from
or are they merely an anchor point to stop him from truely dying
if so, why make 7
Your right, Riddle was the greatest dark wizard of modern times, but just because Grindelwald (the second greatest wizard we know of) was not dark, just a bit.. weird and extreme. ;)
The “T” in Voldemort is silent.
Dumbledore, assuming no Horcruxes, no Elder Wand, and both at the height of their respective power. Voldemort is a great villain and a powerful dark wizard, but he seemed to rely overly on the Unforgivable Curses in combat instead of actual skill.
How did he drink the potion if he was a spirit
The Fat Punisher He didn't. didn't you watch the film? He was dropped in.
Not that potion.
When he was a spirit at the end of the first movie. after the turban guy died (i can't spell his name) he was a smoke head, how did he drink stuff then. and how did he get this little body.
The Fat Punisher professor quirrel.
Voldemort could have easily taken on another host, or perhaps the properties of the potion allow it to work on a soul regardless of the state of the soul.
