So proud that Garnt finally has 3 wives. Sydney, Sydsnap, and Hime Hajime
What!? So he is married to the wife, his daughter and his granddaughter?
@@xcjsmith5310 You would expect nothing less from Grant the Incest man

"Those monks got bars" caught me so off-guard I almost choked.
When can they have Sidney's Uncle on the show?
I mean, I don't know about Mahayana Buddhist monks, but the Vajrayana Tibetan monks that live in India really have bars lol, they remind me a lot of the Aaratis (melodious religious songs) that as Hindus sing during some religious occasions,
@@callumdonington2227 honestly, same question, or Sydney's mom for that matter lol
Three weddings in different traditions is a great achievement.Congratulations Grant and Sydney
Ngl sounds more like a cuck
*garnt lol
He's gotta divorce & marry someone else from a very different culture. Gotta marry'em all
@@CrititalkushWelcome, you must be new here.

I can just imagine most people's reaction to Joey saying "Hawaiian shirts, shorts and thongs. You're speaking my language!" For context "Thongs" are what they call flip-flops/Sandals in Australia. He isn't trying to be all sexy and confident for the wedding HAHAHA!
As a citizen of Hololive Rabbit Hole, that reminds me of that "Ina Thongs" clip (title: My Friend said she NEEDED to buy THONGS)...and the (most likely) Aussie friend Ina mentioned o7
i forgot for a hot second that joey was Australian so i was shocked for a moment
I already knew that's what they say in Australia, but hearing it still made me pause for a second...
Oooh i was so confused when he said that 🤣😂
So thats what the thong song was about.
Me: 3 wedding? That's strange.
Garnt: The family is appeased.
Me: Oooooh. Nm. That makes sense.
As an Indian, I cannot describe how happy I am to hear how similar our weddings are, literally every single one of my cousins weddings went the exact same way, down to the priest/ monks, rhythmically singing and the super non-formal, chill atmosphere (Of course, Indian weddings are both super diverse and are almost universally massive, so a wedding from South India, where I'm from is way way more similar to a Thai wedding because of the cultural connections we've had over the last couple of thousand years, while the North Indian wedding is basically the biggest fucking party you have ever seen, you have booze being distributed, joints being distributed, everything)
AND YOU CHANT SANSKRIT!?
Religious North Indian Hindu weddings are still similar towards South Indian Hindu weddings. Also its Punjabi Sikh weddings where people drink often.
@@argonauts56au1kera6 At Punjabi weddings, they don't drink. They drown themselves in alcohol. The jolliest celebration you'll ever see.
Because Thailand is Buddhist. They are basically cousin of Hinduism.
@@MegaGun2000 Nah the Sanskrit part is mostly for the priest you repeat after him and he guides you on what to say and what it means this is mostly for the groom and bride btw not the entire family the religious side of Indian weddings have mostly died down over time still many Hindu and Muslim families still continue our own traditional religious chants for Hindus it's in Sanskrit sometimes abbreviated into Hindi for simplicity's sake as for Muslims it's mostly in Arabic or Urdu sometimes I have attended both and after experiencing both I have to say the Hindu ones are a bit better since it's more joyful and loud meanwhile our Muslim side gets kinda calm and solemn during the prayer its great both sides anyways
3 weddings to appease family...? They better not complain about anything ever again after that, wow.
They will cause they care for ya and just want to see you happy and be apart of the culture
It’s pretty standard tbh, especially when an Asian weds with a person from another culture.
As a Thai person, I was dying when Joey said that he needed to do 10 pushups for Garnt. It could have been more though lol.
As a Chinese Singaporean, he got off way too easy... I had heard some crazy request from the bridesmaids...
( the "tradition" is that the mens of honor had to do some trials before they can get in, that's when the more traditional stuff like the tea and stuff starts. of course the bride is in her room the whole time veil'd up )
As someone who was part of a bridesmaid's party, we absolutely could do worse
We let them off easy in my cousin's cause no one was feeling up to it when it was 5 in the morning so we just had the lads do jumping jacks and a silly little dance
Finally Grant has finished the wedding arc. Didn't expect all of them to travel to THIGHLAN'
it's a lot different if you know what I mean ... :wink :
Having 3 weddings is as close as Garnt will get to having a harem.
I know in Australia thongs mean flip flops but its really funny the idea of the boys wearing what us Americans refer to as thongs
Imagine Maneetapho Jr. learns three languages and then meets Kjellberg Jr. who is learning four languages.
you watch ksi i see a fellow man of culture

I really really want to see the video of connor fortnite dancing while 100 thai people staring at him
Me too 🤣😂
"Til Death do us Part" (Have a wedding in all three home countries): 100%
Garnt's lore gets more interesting each day 3 weddings what a Chad
My cousin used to think the same about Monks chanting. He said they were "singing" when he was jus 11 years old one time XD. We still fool him about it to this day LOL
Congratulations Garnt and Sydney!
So awesome to also learn how some of the Thai wedding customs operate too. ^^

From Japan's trip to Thailand. Sidney's uncle's rizz shines brighter and brighter.
And now imagine his Anniversaries Days 😅 if he already needs to Marry 3 Times to get 100%.
I always forget that Aussies call flip-flops thongs.
im sorry garnt but you'll need to get a fourth wedding because i gotta see that livestreamed bro
Filipinos: different wedding practices depending on religion and area (urban or rural). I don't know what we call traditional anymore. 😅
Traditional is in the Church.
@@scorpioninpink yup, it depends on the religion and their holy place like churches
Waifu so good you marry 3 times.
Congratulations on your wedding! ยินดีด้วยค่าาาา🍾🍸
Amen about lip gloss. I only ever wear liquid lipstick because it dries. My hair would get stuck in lip gloss or regular lipstick
Forgot what thongs are in Australia vs the UK for a second. I was thinking damn that's one painful but interesting attire requirement
Well you guys better not ever get divorced 🤣🤣
They'll gonna have to do it 3 times too. Lol
Well that’s generally the goal, to NOT do that
bro achieved the triple nuklear
I'm kinda impressed with people being ready to go through this commitment for three times. That really shows how they are confident in their marriage.
Garnt with that dead anime mum scalf drip
Never disappoint PJ
sanskrit is the language of gods when you chant it your voice box vibrates at a rythemic frequency and creates a melody that is so relaxing and divine
Language of Gods is streching it a bit calling it the Language which was used during the Vedic Age is a much more accurate way of describing it
@@Aman_Mondal no it's called langauge of gods in Vedas lmao
Sanskrit is probably the only example of a natural language with generative grammar, and is very well planned from the sounds to strict algorithms for formation of words and sentences.
Connor really got "go, white boy, go"-ed
good for garnt and the boys for being there for him
3/3 nice! Also congratulations.
The monks are chanting in Pali. They are chanting from the Pali cannons.
when u have enough money to have 3 weddings
Fr
3x the amount of wedding gifts and money!
The number of people that pitch in can cover like half or even more of the wedding cost. Also, weddings are cheaper in Asia if you use the US as a baseline
@@Furendz and now to find the people who will 💀 if your whole family is broke time to start sellin our kidneys.
Asian weddings generally are not that expensive, compared to western ones, and wedding gift is usually also a brief with money
If my family wanted more than 1 I'd just disown them lol
How many more times is Garnt going to marry Sydsnap? He just needs to marry her more infinite times. :P
His fourth wedding will be in the Caribbean or Hawaii.

@Gigguk There's no way that was your first time receiving blessings. Also expected more blessings on your wrists. Xyoog xiab muv tav lauv.
I just came to say that Sydney in the thumbnail looks so much like Elizabeth Olsen I did a double take.
If I have the money, I would do the same. One private wedding, one in my culture and another in the culture of my partner.
So Thai wedding, UK wedding and what else?
america i assume
Japanese
UK, US and Thai.
3 weddings? Ross is that you? (JK)
It amazes me how some of the blessings during a Thai marriage are similar to other blessings in christianism, especially the one with sticks and water (at 9:56)
By the way, if I'm not mistaken sanskrit is a dialect spoken/ an alphabet used in the southern part of India
Thailand's Theravada Buddhism uses Pali, which is closely related to Sanskrit, but not actually Sanskrit. It's used just for religious purposes since it's what our equivalent of the Bible (Tripitaka) is written in.
Sanskrit is an ancient language still somewhat alive in India. Most of the Indian languages are derived from Sanskrit. Buddhism originated in the subcontinent and was mostly preached in Pali (more popular language in that era among locals) by Gautama Buddha. Since Pali has its roots in Sanskrit, the chants could have been from either language.
Very interesting! Thanks 🤝👍
Had to reread this… at first I thought it said his 3rd wife
Is the head monk like the head maid?
So did he have a American wedding as well or was it just one in the uk?
I think he had an american wedding as well
I can't remember if they talked about the American wedding. There's UK, US, Thai wedding.
so when's the Japanese wedding?
thats pretty cool. i dont think i wouldve done 3 weddings just to accomodate the entire family. its a hassle. im getting married for me. not my family

I'm guessing the singing has a similar effect as an organ 🤔
Thank you, Garnt! Makeup is uncomfortable af

She's actually kind of cute if you can pretend she's not into anime or rationalize it somehow
what were the other 2 weddings? Japan and US wedding?

Dam is he Rich
Bro Grant was a monk?
I know right, I heard that and was like, “Wait what?”
Guess that also means 3 divorces
She gonna bleed you DRYYYYY
Dam how rich are you to have 3 weddings
Can't say for US or UK but a traditional family wedding in Thailand is not expensive at all, especially if it's likely that your family pitched in too.
That’s the stand for Asian weddings lmao. Idk about Northeast Asian weddings, but definitely for Southeast Asian weddings (speaking from personal experiences). I recently went to my cousin’s wedding and although it only took place in one day, him and his wife had like 8 costume changes.
It's pali Language
If you flinch from the monk water you won't be allowed into Nirvana
No japanese marriage?
people in the us aint evn rying to have 1 lol
It is a southeast asain thing

I have so much respect for Buddhism and if I wasn't Catholic, I would probably be Buddist!
nah you won't, there's way too many shit to do and clean and burn ...
I'd say it's the most un-eco-friendly religion in general ... even if they tried...
Best part about Buddhism is that it’s both a philosophy and a religion. You can still adopt Buddhist philosophies into your life even if you don’t follow it religiously 👍
