  • @bentol888
    @bentol888 Před 3 lety +4

    I have this pistol and it has replaced my G19 for CC. I find it has better ergos and is easier to shoot. Grip safety also makes it easier to re-holster without double (or triple) checking with the Glock. Alien Gear holster makes a very nice rig for this gun. Highly recommend as I've put 500 rounds of JHP without any malfunctions. Make sure you put it back together properly or it will drive you nuts!!

    First time viewer/commenter: my wife and I recently looked at this gun. A few days ago, we turned in all our paperwork for CC here in North Carolina. Upon picking up our cards, we plan to go out and purchase a pair of these for our first carry weapons.

    66 years old with Carpal tunnel and Arthritis. The glock was a little hard for me to handle, and a short 38 revolver transferred too much recoil to my wrists (Painful) Went to a local gun store and told them my situation. The staff recommended the 9 millimeter and Im always on target with it. I even bought the 380 as a backup. 380 is nice to shoot at the range, both good guns. My wife and I like both of them. We shoot about once a week and are working up to a concealed carry class. I recommend both guns. Easy to handle easy to shoot. Good home protection in this day and age.

      Same here bought the .380 for my wife. Liked it better than my 9mm 2.0 5 inch. Bought the 9mm ez today. Spring is little more stout, 9mm ez is a tad bigger, not noticeable. 9mm ez trigger is not as awesome as the 380 ez but still amazing,recoil is slighty increased. I love these guns, the internal hammer ssems to make the triggers super sharp and crisp.

    Thanks for doing the video. I now have 3 9mm that I've purchased for different reasons and also a 380 S&W EZ. The S&W 9mm EZ is not my favorite 9mm primarily because it has a higher recoil than I expected. My favorite 9 mm is a 1911 Rock Island Ultra FS model 51623 It is more accurrateand has less recoil. The Taurus G3 comes in 3rd although it has less recoil than th Ez 9 but has great capacity. The 380 EZ is my favorite carry gun. Just my opinion

    This video was released in December, 2019. They said their price was $460, at Bass Pro Shop I saw it for $499 a few days ago. However, I bought mine at Bass Pro Shop in March 2020 for $349.97. It was on sale, I got the last one they had. Their normal price was $419.99 at that time. I think I bought it about two weeks before panic buying set in. I was just looking for a lighter pistol, I wasn’t even thinking about COVID-19. I almost left not wanting to wait in the usual line for a salesman, glad I stayed!

I took to the range and ran 250 rds. through it and was extremely pleased! The only issue I have at this point is after running a mag through and the slide locks open for reloading it was next to impossible to release the slide with the release button. I had to manual slide to load a round. Out of 250 rds. all but two mags I had to do this. Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions? Many thanks in advance. Jack Daugherty

      The Shield is a great pistol. It's my summer EDC. That said, the Shield is not for everyone. My girlfriend can't rack the slide on my Shield. And the recoil causes her pain do to an old injury. I sent her to an NRA pistol class at my gun club so she can get her license to carry. The instructor had her try several handguns. She came came home and told me emphatically she wanted a 380 EZ. She was able to rack the slide, manage the recoil and most importantly hit her targets consistently. Kudos to S&W for bringing pistols to market designed for people who need them the most.

      @javve03 Před 4 lety

      The spring tension isn't as strong so you could literally use one finger to push the slide back. I was at a gun shop looking at one, and it is takes very little effort to pull the slide back when compared to other guns. This was designed around the idea that some people do not have the strength to pull back other slides. It was designed with a specific market in mind I think.

    VERY low volume on this video! Boring as hell, as well.
