- A woman’s baby has been “booted out twice” during an Arj Barker comedy show and while appearing on The Project, according to Sky News host Chris Kenny.
Trish Faranda had been attending the American comedian’s show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival when her seven-month-old baby girl Clara reportedly disrupted the evening occasion with cries.
The mother and daughter were then asked to leave the theatre.
Discussing the ordeal with Network 10’s The Project on Monday, Ms Faranda was holding and breastfeeding her baby.
After she finished breastfeeding, host Sarah Harris asked if the baby could be passed to her father.
I don't want to hear a baby when I'm trying to listen to a comedy show.
Nothing worse than having a screaming baby spoiling your evening. Woman is just selfish.
But connected!
@@user-en9jk8rf8v She should have stayed connected at home.
Instead she chose to push an agenda, @@MrBonito22
...or if you're trying to read at your local library. Too many parents seem to think that the libe is a place to "let the kids around and let off steam".
The baby should be home in bed not at a comedy show
It was probably the babies decision, probably dragged the poor mother to crown after the show.
God knows it’s not the mother’s fault she brought her baby to a 15+ comedy show.
@@williamcozbie1233 lol
The mother sounds like a professional victim
Her interview on The Project literally proves how disruptive bringing a baby to a comedy show can be. She was right to be kicked out.
Absolutely ridiculous baby should be at home not at a comedy show. Mother should be ashamed of herself!
My guess is she’s a liberal... they aren’t the smartest people, yet they have high levels of entitlement.
Who takes baby to a comedy show? Suggest woman was really taking it too far?
Someone working hand in glovenwith the media, look how quickly the media blew this up, almost like they organised it
Adults like to have a night out without infants. It’s been that way for a long long time.
It really wouldn’t have been hard for her to get someone to watch the baby. She’s just selfish.
Pretty fasrkin annoying, though. Whoever said it takes a village to raise a child lied. Nobody's interested in your rugrat. The other villagers are busy with their own noise. They don't need extra.
So why leave your other 2 children at home with a babysitter, but take your 7-month-old to a comedy show? 🤦🏻♂️
I'm yet to hear an excuse that makes sense.
Shouldn't of had a baby in there. Clearly states for over 15 years only.
Good One Arj. 😂
hear hear
Ah Melbourne I don't listen to anything that it has to say, after the world's longest lockdown by the psycho media deepstate and their hunch backed slave
They just took it
Shouldn't *have* had. Just what do people think an _'of'_ would be doing in there? I'm genuinely curious why so many think that this is what the phrase is. I know it sounds a tad like it but wouldn't you ask yourself why an _'of'_ would be there?
@ivareskesner2019
Shouldn't of Had.
Shouldn't have had. Same thing. You are Nit Picking. 😂
@@ivareskesner2019 I think people must think that there is an "of" there after "shouldn't/should" because of the way we say it maybe. Like when we say it, we say something more like "shouldn't-av", which can sound like an "of" instead, I suppose. But that's just my theory haha
Fair play.
FFS, Leave your babies at home.
Great example of more
Bad parenting
Children of course have a place in society , but not in comedy clubs with adults . Simple . Find a babysitter .
Ye well, women used to be women one time niw they are chest feeders who go to comedy clubs
The Comedian in my opinion has nothing to apologise for .. i would not have been happy if i was in the audience with a baby squarking !!
Has maternal entitlement reached breaking point?
As a mam of 3 and grandmother of 2 I would never take a child/baby to a show like this and she’s just selfish and should not seven be entertained on these news channels as she’s in the wrong.
That woman was very silly bringing a baby to a live comedy show! Arj was correct in asking her to leave!
Why was the baby allowed in, would they allow a toddler or a ten year old
Always amazes me that so many think that it's their right to foist their loin fruits disruptive behaviour on others.
Lol
😂😂😂
Yeah why would you take a baby to a comedy show thats stupid, people come there to relax and there was a age limit on the show so your disrespecting him and his work by disrupting his show and the audience, being completely ignorant to the rules
I wouldn’t have been happy listening to a child in the crowd at a show. This woman couldn’t stop this kid being grisly
The mother and baby were on ACA yesterday, the baby was howling the entire time too.
😄
It seems that the mother is enjoying her 15 minutes fame. She should come here to read the comments.
Ridiculous!!!
Sad you watch ACA and Sky News lol
@@damo7228 , Sad you aren't open to other people watching whatever YOU don't watch!
Why would you even being a baby into a venue like that in the first place
Good I don't go to an adult show to put up with a screaming baby
Why would you take a baby to an evening comedy show?. At that time of night, the child should be at home and in bed. The comedian had every right to ask the mother to leave. Probably a fair amount of the audience have had to find child minders for their own children so that they can have a night out.
I’m a mother too, and being a GOOD mother means that you engage adult reasoning and never make your baby a nuisance. A fussy baby on a plane? There’s just nothing to be done, and passengers come prepared to cancel notice. A fussy baby at a restaurant, a movie, a play, a comedy show, etc... get your butt up and take your baby somewhere else to settle them. I did it with my babies, I still occasionally have to do this now that they are small children. So if I do this for MY children, then when I get the rare kid-free night out, I don’t want to be disrupted by YOUR children. This woman is just a lump.
Exactly, a crying baby on an airplane doesn't stop other passengers getting to their destination, but a crying baby in a theater does stop the other audience from enjoying the show.
No place for a baby. Stay home if you don't have a sitter!!!!
This woman has no commen sense....to bring a baby to an "adult comedy show"? Really?
Honestly, comedy festivals are not the place for babies.I breast fed my 3 children for 12 months each, and I am sick to death of mothers wanting to breast feed everywhere. This is an intimate ,close interaction between mother and child. Not a thing to be doing in a public place.A comedy show is no place for a baby.It is such a short time in your life.Missing a show is not worth all this hoo ha!
It had nothing to do with breastfeeding!!!
Typical self centred melbournion.
👍😊
You mean Bogan ;)
Deliberate troublemaker.
*Are you sure she is the mother? She looks like the crying baby's grandmother.*
Unfortunately that kid has a parent like that to guide it on how to behave in society. Future unemployed adult in the making.
Media is really milking this story.
Boom boom!
Just keeping abreast of the times.
The Projects video went tits up
Wonder why 👽
It's an udder disgrace.
Oh good grief. Why did you put her on your show and using her baby a second time like this. She felt she needed to get out?? Her baby looks to be less than 6 months old. She cannot go more than 6 months without going to a comedy show? Most people go years! This is really not a necessity in life. Shame on both her and this show for giving her a platform for this nonsense. She is just not entitled to take her crying baby to a comdey show.
She's just t h e useful idi ot
why would you take a little baby to a comedy show
Don’t they have babysitters in Australia? Jeez, time and place, lady
Sounds like the mum is having more a cry than the poor infant
You wouldn't be allowed to take a baby to the tennis, so best at home,
It's not a Chuck E Cheese. Other adults have paid to watch the show uninterrupted. How is that so hard to understand? You are still able to watch the show, just have a family member look after your kid.
Who takes a 7month old baby to a comedy show wtf same sort of person that takes children to a restaurant or cafe and lets them run amok all over the place .
The show was 15+.
If you can’t stay quiet then don’t come. Good on Arj.
Why so much emphasis on stupidity?
It's the new feminist normal.
@majorlaff8682 that's why men are now being women, broads even stuffed feminism
I’m a single mum and I understand that if I want to go do adult things, I organise someone to watch my child. It’s that simple. If things fall through then I don’t get to go. It’s happened many times where my child got sick the night I planned to go out after waiting a whole month to go out, but it’s a part of life.
Why the fuck was the baby there in the first place!!!!!! Not like it’s the pokies
She woulda locked the kid in the car if she was playing pokies lol
Just don’t bring your hooters out when you’re 4 rows from the stage…to shut up your screaming kid….especially after people pay money to watch the show….she could have just got up and gone into the foyer with the screaming kid….whipped her hooters out and fed the kid without drawing attention to herself….she needs glasses so she can read the T&C on the website.
Nothing to do with breastfeeding!!!
The woman is at fault full stop. Blame the venue and staff and security for picking this up 😢
It’s show for grow up people not for babies woman make it big deal woman trying get a lot attention
Her entitlement is through the roof, absolutely insane behavior
WOULD YA CHANGE YA BABIES DIAPERS IN THE MIDDLE OF A RESTAURANT=NO-SO WHY BRING BABY 2 STUFF UP COMEDIANS JOB & LISTENERS?
She didn’t think about the confort of the public or more importantly her baby. These type of moms make everything about themselves and blame other people for speaking up. If you love your kid you can skip a comedy show for their confort.
If you can afford tickets to a comedy show, you can afford a babysitter
Who the hell takes a baby to a comedy show for R 16?
I'm sorry, who is bringing their baby to a comedy show? This woman is ridiculous. This is a totally inappropriate venue for a baby. It's like when I see parents bringing babies or young children to a 10pm R-rated movie here in the US...stay home or get a sitter! Babies don't need a night out on the town. Let your children get some rest/sleep in a calm, quiet environment for gods sake! Inadequate sleep and disrupting sleep schedules lead to fussy and irritable babies/children...just like adults.
She has other children so they must have been with a babysitter or famiy. Sadly this woman's identity is through her kids. She needs help not acclaim.
Totally. No wonder the father hasnt stayed around lol
It's a 15+ show not Barney the Dinosaur. Please respect others, respect the rules and ask someone at home to mind your child.
She looks 60, is it even her baby or is this an ideology thing
These days woman want they cake and eat it
Why on this earth would you TAKE YOUR SCREAMING BABY to a comedy show, Everybody else PAID FOR THEY'RE TICKETS, it's so Disrespectful to the other patrons that paid $$$$ for their night out!!
What's being overlooked here is the fact that the baby is crying all the time as it's being force-fed sour vinegar.
Pls go to wiggles show with the baby. It will like the colours and the soothing music. Pls leave it when attending an adult jokes show it's just not the vibe for the baby or having a crying kido isn't a good vibe for poor adults who are trying to chill from day to day juggle perhaps with their own babies. Lady don't drama.
Can't say I know what its like being kicked out of a venue for breastfeeding 'cause I'm male, but I don't recommend anyone being kicked out of a venue for, shock horror, having a good time though.
Be responsible and don't bring a baby to an adult venue. If your baby acts up, leave the room!
comedy shows are for ADULTS......
A breast feeding baby should attend anything. In a business meeting room during a presentation, in the Men’s toilets, centre of a tennis court during play, during a job interview. 😂
Babies at a comedy gig? Supertramp concert in the 70's i can understand but "theatre"?
Her issue is that she needed to breast feed and couldn't leave the baby. But you can express milk occasionally. She states that she represents woman. You don't represent me and i breast fed my child and sometimes in public. And i would not go to a comedy show if I knew I'd possibly be sitting next to someone with a baby. Not fun.
Nothing to do with breastfeeding nothing !
Someone on stage can hardly see anyone in the audience other than the first couple rows, due to the stage lights.
He asked her to leave because the baby was crying, annoying EVERYONE. It is just the woke left media trying to gaslight people making out it was about breastfeeding.
I haven't seen anyone actually on this chick'$s side.. because she was 💯 in the wrong
Imagine if you were sitting anywhere near her. I think i would have left.
Bringing a baby to a stand-up comedy show is the dumbest thing you could do after drinking battery acid
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣that's classic. Luv ya Arj.
The Project is where comedy and ideas go to die...and where hypocrisy has long since made home. Nothing surprising there. I'm actually surprise Whalled Ali didn't punch the baby. He seems like the type.
And yet you watch it ?
Whats next a rock concert
I find this funny but the audience and the comedian were interrupting the baby's sleep. Won't someone think of the children? 😀👍
You can't make this shit up.
Arj has not become the butt of jokes. 🤦♂️🤯🤡
Easy way to make $ to sue! Full ridiculous this person should not even have the right to be called a Mum poor child!
Look at this interview proving the point that the baby was disruptive and shouldn't have been there. I expect to be able to enjoy a comedy show without the constant whining of a child who is likely hungry and cranky because her mom is a walnut who should have her fed and sleeping instead of at a late night comedy club exposed to excess noise and lights.
Every other mother there had to leave their babies home, what made this woman so special?
The project are hilarious though, wow.
Organiser's fault. Should have specified say 15+ only event to avoid any awkwardness and embarrassment.
100% agree
They DID say 15+
@buildmotosykletist1987 still organiser's fault for allowing an under-15 to enter the venue.
@@CLXH : I hope they sacked the staff !
It’s a mine field out there, imagine being the pimply teenager on the door trying to tell this ridiculous, self entitled woman she can’t bring her baby in. I place 95% of the blame solely on this mother (and of course the father too if he was involved in the decision).
We have to allow babies and breastfeeding mothers everywhere. Cockpits, parliament, underwater, theatres, . ..
It's not about breastfeeding. It's about crying, whining and screaming. Breastfeeding would be fine. At least it would have something in its mouth to shut it up.
Coal mines, nuclear processing plants, air traffic control towers, behind the wheel of a concrete truck, back seat of a cop car on a chase, walking a guide dog ... the opportunities are limitless for babies of today.
Don't forget trans women.
@@Gavin-qh7li They ARE the baby. They've never really grown up!

Having a baby shouldn’t change your life in anyway, it’s not fair for a baby to expect you to miss out on all the things you did when you were twenty, baby should have thought about all that before it was born.
Woke nonsense. Who brings a baby, to an adult comedy show? Australian media needs to stop this manbashing rubbish.
Ridiculous woman

Haha, I would have comments turned off too if I was that lot.
