If you don't have the money to hire a baby sitter, don't go out. Period.

So she should be asked to leave! It is not propper nor respecful to the performer or the audience. This self entitlement of some people is not acceptable nor wanted. You don't bring a baby to an adult venue such as this! Wanna go out and party? Don't have kids.
Current Affair presenter seems to think it was ok. She should be sacked for her bias.

I have no sympathy for the mum that got booted from the show. The venue should not have allowed the baby in there. If she wanted to see the show ORGANIZE A BABY SITTER, it’s not that hard. My sympathies go to the other people who paid to see the show not hear some baby noises disrupting the show and i sympathize with the performer who has to deal with that unwelcome disruption. If he was a bit harsh towards her then that’s unfortunate but she could have avoided all of that unpleasantness by not bringing her baby to that show. It’s not a daycare, end of story.

What's being overlooked here is the fact that the baby is crying all the time as it's being force-fed sour vinegar.

    I have 5 kids
I would NOT take a baby to a show to disrupt others
I'd watch a video at home or have them babysat

      I agree.
I raised daughters myself as a single parent. So obviously if I couldn't get a baby sitter I would avoid certain places.
Geez I used to avoid many public places because back in the day the baby change area was in the women's toilets and at some other places the baby change area was in a mother's room. Geez even at a women's maternity hospital (that place where women give birth and men would bring children to visit the mother and baby) the baby change area was in the women's toilets (see the issue) and it was pure luck a older woman helped me by standing there ensuring no women said anything about me changing my baby daughter in rhe women's toilets on the baby change table.
This place is not the place to bring a baby. Just as a court hearing is not a place to bring a baby or an MMA fight isn't the place to bring a baby.
      Use your brains

Every time she gets in front of a camera or on a microphone she only proves the point further. Seems her little baby just does not settle. She would know this and yet she still chose to take part in an audience. The one word I can think of to describe the is "oblivious".

I think most reasonable people would support Arj Barker on this. Everyone else should be allowed to have their night out without having to put up with a baby crying in this context. I have 2 kids and never took them out where they could disturb a performance as babies. This woman clearly has little concern for others and sounds quite entitled.

Yes hecklers often get booted out for being disruptive I've seen it many times😂 anyone being so disruptive that you can see the performer is getting annoyed and distracted etc, need to be kicked out, it doesn't matter what the cause of disruption is...

The same thing happened to me 25 years ago from the melbourne comedy club. I called them to ask if it was ok to bring my baby to the David Strassman show. At half time I was asked to leave. The people standing around me didn’t even know my son was there but David had noticed & asked me to leave. No refund. Disgusting. Will never see him again!

Honestly - I have 2 kids and wonder why you would even consider taking a baby to a performance where crying sounds would likely upset everyone around you as well as disturb the performer. Can't be much fun for your baby either.
I am a pianist (not professional) but have performed over many years. You feel very exposed on stage and disturbances (like babies crying, especially when you're not expecting it) can really put you off.
Perhaps if your livelihood was dependent on a stage career, you might have felt differently and left bubs at home and could still enjoy going to Strassman shows (with your 25yo) rather than carrying ill feelings towards him and missing out. 🙂

If Arj Barker was a true professional he would have made light hearted fun of both the baby as well as the Mum.
A talented comedian would have relished the situation.
Probably explains why Barker is virtually unknown in North America.

If she was a true mother, she wouldn't of taken a baby to a comedy show due to the fact that it is a moronic thing to do. She proved that she is either entitled or desperate attention, if not both. She is a terrible parent and so is anyone who agrees with her.
