@@txtinky505 that’s what’s up!! Cool. I heard trout is very good. I’m glad yours came out good. I actually had a last minute change of plans and cooked some steak that was already thawed out lol. But hopefully tomorrow after work. Thanks 😊 for letting me know how it was.

Leaving it open on top may prevent over cooking, tin foil heats up and even after removed, it continues to cook whatever is inside. Especially considering how quickly fish cooks, the tin foil may change your desired outcome. Not exactly a critique to you Earthling, (whatever you like is up to you!) this is mostly a piece of advice for anyone scrolling through and trying to find the right recipe for them ! 😊 maybe some will consider this, and others may not

1 trout could feed 2 people? Lol!!! You're no earthling, you're obviously an alien! Btw, once you cook a trout the bones won't hurt you, they'll so be soft you wont even notice them...

Well, I do agree with you. It wouldn't be a big meal to just eat one of the fillets; but, pair it with a side dish or two and it would make a good meal for two. Good to know about the bones. This one was mostly de-boned, but, I did feel a few small bones at the beginning of the video. I guess they softened up and I just couldn't really notice them after. When I fillet the fish myself, I noticed much larger bones in each fillet. I usually take them out before cooking when I fillet them. Sometimes, they are a bit stuck, and after cooking I find it is sometimes easier to remove them. Not sure I'd want to eat those longer bones even if safe after cooking, but, this fish had none.

You have a lovely fresh trout and then overwhelm the flavor with onions and garlic?
Why not just eat the garlic and forget the trout entirely. It won't taste any different.
