The military probably allowed you to film because your videos (indirectly) encourage others to join the army. It's a win-win-win for you, the military, and the viewers.

Maybe because he had (more?) army experience beforehand, I would guess? Not sure. Maybe he already completed other trainings while the others didn't, or the other way around actually. Great question though.
Cause he's not in the army. He's just there for the sniper education course.
Aravzil berets generally is a headwear you get if you've proven yourself and that you have gone trough some kind of training, not that you are a new one. I'm a Swedish soldier and I have a black beret since I'm in a armored regiment and I got it after I finished my 9month service
Because he's only there for temporary training and is not a permanent member of the bataillon. That's presumably also why he has no rank. Given that he was enlisted military, he should be at least Korporal / OR-3 (two white stars with no box, like the guys behind him)
I'm also from Austria. I think that he made is basic training in an other battalion. You only get the red berret if you completed the basic training in the same battalion where he is at the moment. They don't have other berrets available there.

US army made the 5.56 much better with M855A1... Tip harden steel, with a copper slug.... look up the M855A1 it seems to do much better job.. but you can go .30 same old argument.... ammo for every 3 5.56 you get 1 7.62 round.

Under pressure, you don't rise to the occasion, you sink to the level of your training.
Hot tip for you: With 5.56 and those magazines you can just put the round on top of the magazine and press down. It will click down into the magazine instead of having to press the follower down and slide it under the lip on the follower.

aimpoint is high because when you are using bone support to stabilize the rifle while standing . . . it is at the natural line of sight

The velocity of a 5.56 round is why we're still using it (also light and all the other yada yada). 5.56 can penetrate bulletproof glass after 3-4 shots while other rounds cannot

Definitely not an A1 as far as I'm aware but willing to be corrected. AFAIK the A1 was the original version, full lenth with the original built in optic and no RIS rails... I'm assuming this version is a further evolved version of that original rifle? Don't know for sure, off to read up - but I have an A1 airsoft replica on my workshop wall that I need to get round to fixing up for a video series - and thats the differences I see :)

1:34 no they are not. There are far more capable rounds with stopping power. The Russians also aren't going back to using 7.62x39 for assault rifles. There's .300blk (Steyr will release a AUG version soon), 6.8SPC or even .458 Socom if you need more stopping power and a flat trajectory. 7.62 isn't going to replace 5.56 soon.
.300blk is actually nothing more then 7.62x39 adapted for ARs.

Not everything, like the other soldiers for example, some of them are active duty soldiers so you know...it's dangerous for for them.

Novritsch, I noticed your comment on the 5.56x45, personally I agree to an extent about the 5.56 stopping power, it usually takes 2-3 good shots to put down a target, but when you are considering mission objective and time, you have to take ammo conservation into account.
In the Marines you're taught that modern warfare is a fight of logistics and the best logistics always win. So with my plate carrier I can carry 10 magazines plus another 5-6 in my assault pack if I need them. A Russian Ratnik can carry only 5-6 magazines up front, which means that he won't last as long in a regular engagement, but I guess the argument is you shoot less if you have 7.62. I'm still skeptical, even the Russians use 5.45x39 these days instead of 7.62x39 for the reasons I listed above. And if you know where to shoot if you have the time to shoot accurately, then 5.56 can be deadlier as 7.62 tends to over penetrate.
Interesting thought, no? I'm curious to see how our NATO allies move with this, in my experience having the same ammo is much easier in exercises, units can swap magazines interchangeably and this increases effectiveness.

The stg77 looks pretty sweet with modern rails and a shorter barrel (made up for by bullpup design). Very different from the one I was used to as a kid, which I only got to dry fire/drill with because it was chambered left handed (made another comment on the last vid). Cheers for the content.
When I was shooting for the first time in army I was surprised how loud the guns actually are lol 😆
The point of 5.56x45 NATO is not to kill but to wound, so it can take out 2 enemies, 1 who's hit and 1 who has to carry him.
I think novristh has better handling that all of the soldier from video games

Don't lean your cheek with a red dot rated for 10-75 meters also keep both eyes open you don't have to but you should red dot isn't so dependent on super specific sight picture through the sight. The scope is the only thing that really requires cheek lean and great sight picture.
the f88 austeyr is a bullpup by design for recoil and movability and weight
