It’s probably just part of a common area accessible to the public and used by the military. We would frequently train on Woodbury Common near Exmouth and we’re allowed to fire blanks as long as we were 100 meters away from any civilians.

It really is a superb series he is doing. I wish there was something like that in the UK - where you could just sign up for 2 weeks training; I wonder what the Austrian military gets out of it? I mean they are spending money and time taking him through the training? For him just to leave after 2 weeks? Anyone know?
He is a profesional austrian military Sniper, he is only back in the military for retraining, maybe for the militia or the reserve troops.
First air soft, then military vlogs, and now make up tutorials! I must say I like the variety and progression of the channel!
Finally! Someone that actually uses the ghillie suit properly! I see SO many people at airsoft and paintball events that just have "naked" ghillie suits (without any foliage attached). A Military Sargent once said "the ghillie suit itself is 30% of your camouflage, the other 70% comes from the attached foliage."

In the French army, we have a small reminder of the basics of camouflage, it is FFOMECBLOT. It stands for Fond Forme Ombre Mouvement Eclat Couleur Bruit Lumière Odeur Trace. Roughly, this means Background Shape Shadow Movement Flash Colour Sound Light Smell Trail. These are all the things to be remembered on field. Nice video, as always.

just a tip, roll the ghillie in light dirty mud and then roll it in leaves and grass. it will come out looking matted down and spiky. thrn roll in the ferns and other natural things

Often the areas who belong to the military are open for public. Of course only the areas where no shooting is done.

Noviritch is in the 25nd infantry battalion, the only airborne unit in the Austrian military.
The mirror doesn't suck. We use the same in the Australian army and you have to peel the plastic off the mirror in order for it to show properly hahaha

Well, it's different from real life and airsoft :P. In airsoft he goes towards the front, is really aggressive. As a sniper in real life you often have to wait for 17 hours straight on one position, having a ghilie makes you invisible if you don't move. So that is the reason why he loves them here, but probably still will never use them in airsoft :P

You should get a sunshade for your objective lens and "birdnest" your optic. Nothing in the natural world is a perfect circle and completely black. Or you could cover the lense with some tape and pain it camouflage, and then cut a hole that isn't circular so you can see through the tape.

I've seriously been thinking that they should use mil sim as training in the military. Idk about how realistic it is but it could improve tactics and survival and stuff with almost real enemies.

The military dont shares training space, only on the big Trainingareas it is for zivilists allowed to pass them on markt roads and only if there is no life shooting. The Jogger is likle an off time Soldier doing sport.

The Austrian military seems pretty informal and more laidback than other developed nation's militaries.
