I think that's a little bit more complicated here in Austria. As far as I know you can't go to public buildings with guns and you can only carry them from your place of residence to the range. Carry licenses are usually only given to people with high risk jobs, hunters or if you have a good enough reason ... But I highly doubt that you can take your guns to the airport.
