A half-hour compilation of bits from Kenny Everett's BBC comedy series. Including guest appearances by Joanna Lumley, Billy Connolly and Janet Street-Porter.
Kenny Everett was absolutely brilliant. His shows and humor are timeless.
And he was absolutely right about the BBC
She’s a loathesome oik
Wouldn't be allowed anymore nowadays, things are f*ck*d up by PC and woke. H*ll the BBC is self censoring now !
High time to get rid of these political parties, but the UK electorate is stuck in same all, same all voting, Lab and Cons.
Genius. There will never be another Kenny. Meticulous attention to detail in every sketch.
Kenny was a genius! We miss you Ken
🤣😂😂 Absolutely brilliant!!!!! .....Nothing like this on tv anymore unfortunately 🤔😑 😔
Rest well, you mad lovely man. ❤
It takes real brains to come up with such crazy ideas and put it all together. I heard it said he was an incredible workaholic.
I love the fact that Kenny would sometimes pre-record his WHOLE BBC1 Radio show and then just play that for an hour (or however long it was!)!
Pretty mental! 😊
And I seriously doubt they'd let a DJ get away with something like that these days?! 😊🤔😁
On a different note, I remember that I used to have a promotional, flexible 7" of a Vladivar Vodka advertisement/sketch by Kenny Everett. It had all his popular characters advertising Vladivar Vodka! Cupid Stunt, Sid Snot, Angry of Mayfair and several more characters were on there too. Man, I wish I still had that Flexi 7"... Even if it was just one big advertisement for Vodka!
And fuck me! I've just discovered that it's a vodka, originally made in Cheshire (at the time of Kenny Everett's endorsement!)...
It's still about too! Except made in Scotland now, by Whyte & Mackay. 🤔
"It's all in the best possible taste!"
✌🏼😀👍🏼
This man set the bar so high…..
Rest in peace Kenny. We miss you. 🙁
he was a genius
We lost such a huge talent when Kenny Everett died. Sadly taken away from us far too soon.
The flying rabbi lol
How two faced that Janet street porter said recently on loose women she hated how Kenny Everett impersonated her yet she’s laughing along here very disrespectful
The woman lies through her teeth
She has always been a grade A Cupid stunt that one.
And they would have to be big whoppers of lies to get through those teeth
Sort of understand why 4 people divorced her 😂
She probably couldn't stop laughing

As I understand it, the pre recorded shows were done to allow the shows to be screened pre broadcast for unacceptable content, this was due to Kenny being previously sacked from radio 1 in 1970 for making a joke about the transport ministers wife bribing her way through her driving test. Pre screening was a condition of his re employment on BBC radio
I didn't see your underwear, so I don't believe you.
Brilliant - cheers for preserving and uploading this. Brought back a lot of memories - I've still got the 'Snot Rap' single somewhere
When I was a wee lad, I never missed a show, by the time I had stopped laughing at the cat at the beginning, the show was about over.
I'd forgotten the Barry 👃 Massivenose sketch.
😂😂😂
He's right about the BBC.
BBC1 Continuity On Monday 25th September 1995.
Ah Kenny. We miss you.
This was on the night of the Eric Cantona kung fu kick
He was a genius well ahead of his time.Similar in a way to Robin Williams.
Reminded me of Spilligan and his _Q_ series.
A very unique man one and only greatly missed still
Man-eating fish...LOL
Joanna Lumley..
An absolute legend ❤RIP Ken

Great comedy Kenny Everette was a legend, just a shame we can't get away with things like this now on the TV. The PC brigade made sure of this, where not allowed to laugh anymore.
I forgot about 2 point 4 children it was gash
Gash?
Colonel Muriel Clean was ahead of his time with his "B, B and C" comment.
Barry Manilow lol
Colonel Muriel Clean LOL
Alias Angry of Mayfair.
B, B and C!
Hi my name is Matthew I have autism and I got learning difficulties as well I was wondering have you got any archive video clips of LWT programme called Love Bites 09/11/1996 please thank you very much
Ian beal and kathe ??
RIPPER BOSS!
Another comment... Re-watching a year later!
Man, so many *plain weird* sketches! As Kenny actually says occasionally, "What a peculiar sketch!"
On a completely different note - I think Cleo Rocos produces Tequila nowadays, amongst other things?🤔
Eastenders has been on far too long.
If this doesn't make you laugh There's something wrong with your sense of humour
No one wants to go to Australia?
What a loss to entertainment this man's death was.
Back in the days when society was a little less anal and immature..
Joanna Lumley joke; how do you get Joanna Lumley to support your cause? Just tell her Gurka is involved. She'll do anything if she thinks there's a Gurka involved.
Verity Treacle at 00:26:26 !
"Do YOU have a dark abyss? And do YOU long for a light shaft?"
"That's all for now. Until I _come up YOUR way,_ next week..." !!! ✌🏼😆👍🏼
😉👌🏼
😆😂😆
And the sketch before, too! (Which I'm paraphrasing.)
"...And he gave those young school girls gifts once he'd had his way with them!" *Sigh!* "Good god, it's nothing like it was in our day..."
"No, dear..."
"No, All we ever got was a packet of sweets!"
😄😁😆 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Don't think you'd get away with jokes like THAT these days! Christ! 🤦🏻♂️😁🤷🏻♂️
it was never the same when he went to bbc. the itv thames shows were much funnier. why? because they had no audience. the laughter came from the crew who were pissing themselves at kenny's sketches. as soon as the audience was introduced it came across as forced and unnatural. kenny was just as funny but the public killed the spontaneity. for me anyway
It's a fair point, the crew laughing felt so genuine and became part of the show.
A BBC audience is warmed up with a comedian beforehand, told to be loud and expressive and even made to clap and laugh AFTER the show, so it can be edited in. (I was in the audience for the Mike Yarwood show back yonder)
In fairness the material was drying up by the mid 80s. He split with one of his writers which didn't help. The last couple of series on the BBC weren't that great but I'm sure it would have been the same at Thames
A Tory 👎🏼👎🏼
Ghosts
