- Every time I listen to Vid. Nedunuri Krishnamurthy's music, it casts a spell on me. The striking beauty of every single note or phrase he sang, the camaraderie he shared with so many artists, the passion and verve with which he presented his art -- they will continue to inspire musicians and students of music generation after generation. Vid. Lalgudi GJR Krishnan and I present a humble tribute to the maestro on the occasion of his 94th birthday. I profusely thank GJR Anna for accepting to do this concert with me. We had a great time reminiscing about the music of Nedunuri Sir and learning the compositions tuned by him. We hope you will enjoy this presentation.

As a Mridangam student and artist I should say I missed a mridangam here but laya sudhamana singing and violin made the silence so rhythmic. This is Brilliant my take to be around during my office hours.

We had performed bhajans arranged by Sri Nedanuri Guru Garu. After bhajan, from 9.30 pm to 2 am he sang many Ramadasar kritis for us . Great Mahaneyaru. Pranams to Sri Guru Garu. So simple easily approachable . We were blessed.

A fitting tribute in memory of the great soul. Nedunuri garu had a unique respectful bondage with Lalgudi sir, and palghat Raghu sir. Abhishek and GJR have combined so beautifully to make this a memorable experience.
Yatho vaacho nivarthanthe. Apraapya manasa saha. Aanandam brahmano vidwaan (quote from Thaitheerya Upanishad) -- quite apt for this performance. What more we can say.
So beautiful. Both singing of Abhishek Raghuram and the violin by GJR Krishnan which is also singing. I really wish Krishnan played more accompaniment to vocalists as he enhances the quality of the output by several folds with those Lalgudi touches. Tribute to Nedunuri couldn't have been done any better.

The moment when I opened when I saw Tribute to the legendariySri Neduneri Krishnamurthy masters at once Malladi Brothers. Came to my mind. I have seen the younger Malladi sitting with his Guru Sri Neduneri Krishnamurthy

Annamaachary is popularly known as PADA KAVITAA PITHAMAHUDU, composed 32000 sankeerthanams on lord venkateswara without mentioning his name he wrote all in copper plates available accidentally in tirumala devastanam, come to public by great works sri raallapally ananthakrishnamacharyulu and veturi prabhakara satry. We all indebted to the very tough job to publication of present available compositions. Nedunuri excellently tuned many compositions which rendered by ms subbulakshmi and others.

Sheer genius! The intentional control over sangathis to match the great Nedunuri is evident. The Kalyani ragam was rendered with such care that only Abhishek can! Nedunuri Sir would be proud to hear such a solemn presentation in his bhaani.
