Amber saying that if she spends 5 years in prison she'll be 20 by the time she gets out only to get a life sentence is maybe the best thing that happened in this case.
also when she asked the detective “how many years?” after hearing they’d all be booked for first degree, premeditated. and the detective said “oh honey”
@@majorgleekster06 lol. I loved that detective the most. Also the one interrogating "Roach" was good too.

And she got out after 9 years. Disgusting.
These 2 kids are 15…16. They are tattooed, living with boyfriends…doing whatever they want. I’m actually shocked the mother turned them in.
She didn’t. The son told her he knew who k!lled Seath after they saw a new report about his being missing. He didn’t say that it was him, and his sister, and their friends, but he confessed right away after getting to the police station. Amber continued lying during her first interview because her mom was in the room and only told the truth when she was put in a room away from her mom and interviewed again.
Wow, my kid is 15 and I can’t even fathom her living that kind of life 😢
Yeah she seemed like a shitty parent. And then at 28:50 After finding out her kids and husband were both in on it she was worried about her phone.
When soto was like "i was just tryna get my life together" my jaw dropped tbh like how is hanging out with children and killing them getting your life together??

@pablovirus the OP said, "Kids." Damn Bargo and Ely ( old enough to be married) are not children.

Jackson and Wright are the only ones you could qualify as "kids. " BUT I agree with you it's weird af. I think those teens lacked parents' supervision. Tatoos and piercings at 15 and 16???

Which one? There were a couple of them who didn't take crap from anyone.

Oh yeah! And Charlie the one who said that GOT OUT! And god do I hope everyone who meets her makes her feel like abomination she is and what she was afraid of (her reputation) happens to her and she lives the rest of her life despised by everyone alone and miserable forever
This is kind of a dumb take. Of course they're are upset, they literally just found out their lives are over. Who are you to say there was zero regret? They've had time to process what happened. They haven't had time to process that their lives are over yet... This is just a dumb npc take.

All of them crying for themselves is just sickening. Not one tear for the kid they killed or his family. Disgusting!
Oh come on! They’re very young and very scared. They did a terrible thing, but their fear while in police custody is understandable, not “disgusting”.
@@GradKat It is not understandable. Their tears are misplaced, end of story.
@@GradKat Smh
@@GradKat How can you troll by defending plain murder and torture. Wonder if you would say the same if it was your kid.
@@GradKat no.. it is disgusting. a normal reaction would be more in line with thoughts such as "what have i done" "please come back" "i didn't mean it" "i want him to come back" "im so sorry" etc. not "this is our life now" or "people are gonna hate us for this". those thoughts are more likely to occur a while after the crime, whilst the individual has had time to think, and isolate themselves more so from the incident. anyone to say stuff like this, this soon, is disgusting. they may still be kids, but they are mentally old enough to recognise what they've done, and what a selfish reaction to it looks like. normal people would feel awful if they thought/said such things. because yes i believe kids can say that stuff because you've got a lot of emotion you're dealing with if you've committed this, but as soon as you've said it, it would be instant regret and disgust with yourself if you had any remorse.
The fact that at 15 amber still thought that a first degree murder was a 5 year sentence just shows the kind of education they’ve had .. that’s embarrassing
it's more sickening the fact that she thought of doing it because 5 years of sentence were nothing for her.
Why are you blaming the education system for everything, that's even more embarassing. Maybe her knowlege is HER responsibility.

Well did you ever think how many people you'd hurt by murdering this person?
Yeah it's the way the adult world works. There are consequences for your actions. Zero sympathy for these kids. I wonder what their parents were like?
The last thing on their mind is how many people they hurt by killing Seth. They're more worried about how it makes them look. Reputation is everything to these kids, problem is their reputations are based all online.
Don’t worry! They will receive a good treatment in jail / prison :) haha.
Those scumbags don’t deserve anything at this point
Bet they never imagined their interrogation would end up on CZcams and now there's an entire section of the Internet who hates them. 🤣
Props to the mother for calling the authorities when her own kid confessed. I have seen many parents try to hide their own kid's misdemeanours.
Still a decent chance that a parent who would cover up their child's petty crime wouldn't cover up violent crime, especially murder
True. The step dad did cover it up
sad that the mother/parents were not able to instill love and respect for others....
@@darthmatt4120 The step dad is an idiot though, and I am using the word "idiot" literally here. He was just used by his ex's kids for buying them booze and driving them around where they needed to go. The fact that his stepchildren dragged him into this says a lot more about them than it does him.
Hope you don't have kids. The mom should have contacted an attorney for advice and for the kid to be turned in.
"I want my mommy! I want my mommy!"
A hard as nails criminal, that one.

@Roro-ct2tr0 18 is basically a child.
Can’t believe they put a 20yr old adult man, in a room with the children that just snitched on him, unattended. The fact that he didn’t attack either girl or Kyle is a miracle for those detectives lol
These are all people who proved they were capable of cold blooded murder. I'm sure Justin, like the kids, realized the danger they posed to him as they recognized the danger he posed to them.
@@VanitasCoreEh, despite their convictions I really don't think any of them would have done anything without Mike. I would certainly not feel threatened in a room with the three knowing what they did.
@thisismywill I don't either. As a matter of fact, Justin Soto is the one I'd be least fearful of, as he seems to be the only one not completely disconnected from reality in these moments. But they may not share that feeling. As far as they are concerned, being potentially wracked with guilt and filled with adrenaline, they might have felt threatened by the others.
Agreed. Putting them all together was a really, really stupid idea. Any number of things could have happened there.
They knew they had alot to talk about and wanted to get it all on tape for evidence😄
The fact that Mike abused Seath’s body even after he had passed was the saddest thing ever. It’s infuriating how Amber believes she has done no wrong simply because she didn’t pull the trigger. This was her friend and boyfriend and she felt absolutely nothing towards him. How tragic. May Seath rip.

Must have been so hurtful 🥺
@@blinkingbat7447 I've seen enough true crime docs that I've realized you can be a great parent or a terrible parent or somewhere in between, and your kid(s) could still turn out this way; most kids like this come from messed up and abusive backgrounds, but it simply isn't the case 100% of the time. It's a statistical impossibility, and that's a sobering thought. That being said, I'd also like to say, it's waaaay more common for kids to be let down by their parents than the other way around. I'm just playing devil's advocate here because- as someone who isn't a parent and came from a very unhealthy and abusive family myself- I'm surprised I legitimately pity some of the parents in these videos.
What an interesting way to deflect the blame even after they're found out
"There's a 15 year old kid murdered because of us" is just a bizarre way of saying "We murdered a 15 year old kid"

I'm also stunned of how even though they are facing murder charges, they are completely oblivious to the gravity of the situation. She's crying because she thinks she'll be 20 before she gets out; she'll be lucky to be out by the time she's 50.
Even if she does, her life is over. There will be VERY few people who don't know who she is or what she did. No one's gonna hire her, or want her in their home. Same goes for the others involved.
@@christianalbanito3062 By the time she gets out this case will be long forgotten. The only people who will remember it will be the locals. She can get settled in somewhere else and live fine. But she is indeed going to miss out on life. She'll never have a family of her own, and will never enjoy the best years of life. I think she got 30 to life, so she will be 45 when she has her first parole hearing, and due to the horrific nature of this crime she's going to be rejected a few times before they finally let her out.

*unprofessional. Unless you were being sarcastic (I find it hard to tell these days. Lol) you are wrong. There are policies and procedures to be followed when speaking to suspects, and these detectives broke a lot of them. These kids were guilty, yeah, but intimidation, lying to the suspects, coercion, and belittlement are not professional, or even legal in many places. They would've got their admissions without all that, and they can't say what the kids are going to be tried with until court proceedings. These malpractices often result in false confessions (again, not in this case, these kids are guilty af), that's why laws exist against using them. This was sloppy police work at best, and all just to get the confession quicker.
As for personal feelings, when you're police or a detective, you leave your own personal feelings at the door! That's what being professional is. You stay neutral and calm throughout interrogations, if you can't control your own emotions then you're in the wrong job.
All three of the Detectives were very professional. Kudos to them.
It was so hard for them to not just start screaming at these stupid, narcissistic, selfish, evil, immature young people “YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHAT YOU HAVE EVEN DONE!, DO YOU?!?” Because each of those suspects were SO wrapped up in themselves. That’s ALL they cared about. Period.

What’s scary is 5 people came together to do this! Not one of them stopped to say this isn’t right at anytime. Crazy how a group of kids could be so evil!
No.
They never even thought about it. Most likely, especially the girls, never expected anybody getting seriously hurt.
If the one drugged up guy didn't pull a gun and started shooting it would all go down as another teenager fight among boys.
Sure, they talked shit about it before, but they are kids. They talk shit all the time and nothing comes out of it.
It was all a joke to them: we get him inside, kick his ass, have a laugh. Then Mike pulls a gun and shoots him on the spot at which point everybody is horrified, and shell shocked into just following the ringleader.
They were stupid, not evil. Mike is evil, possibly a psychopath (if he snorted pills it was most likely Adderall or other amphetamine, those won't make you a murderer but might lower the threshold for action you wanted to take anyway).
When kids are in groups in can get really bad. They do things they could never do if they were alone.
A kid who kills isn’t a kid anymore. He/she is a killer
Birds of a feather flock together. Like-minded people usually find their way to each other. Of course, there was a whole lot of bad parenting that led to these kids turning out this way.
